I've been here many times, but I always get the same thing: green chile cheeseburger and chile cheese fries. The burgers are always juicy and seasoned well. The chiles are flavorful and all the other toppings pair well and are fresh. The fries are always crispy and delicious and the chile sauce is great, but I do wish it was a little spicier. Still, not enough for me to give fewer stars. All around, the service is great and the burgers are tasty. Will always come back!

This is the kind of hole in the wall I've always wanted to go to in New Mexico and I'm not just talking about Albuquerque I'm talking about the whole of New Mexico this place is fantastic I just had a 12 oz Burger I ordered a double sopapa chili burger which already came with guacamole normally I would have added bacon but I just wanted to more or less taste its roots. I must say this place is ABO ve and beyond any other place I've eaten good burgers in all of New Mexico. Don't let the outside of the building scare you away looks a little bit worn out but the inside is fantastic and the people that own it all of them are awesome family business here struggling through the rough times of kovid in which this place has been around since 1985 Matthew McConaughey loves them and so does Justin cram Hi5. A great little place for great New Mexican food, chili is flavorful medium hot and delicious. I like a juicy meaty green chili. The one place my visiting sister picked for her one family reunion meal this weekend. Great place for casual family fun, great food, and local family owned and run. A must go. Really!

Small mom and pops restaurant well hidden. Owners are super sweet and attentive and their food is to die for. Very homey and lots of regulars coming in and out. Definitely worth the trip

This is a small, mom&pop shop, so don’t go looking for a big place with lots of wait staff. Take your time, sit down, relax and get some good food. There are times where they get lots of call in orders, so your meal might take a bit. They don’t have a huge kitchen, ok? The food is very good, inexpensive, friendly people who run it and who work there, and the carne adovada burrito is huge. I’m not able to eat it all in one sitting. And it’s $8!!! How can you go wrong? It’s mildly spicy, which I like. My belief is that spice should compliment rather than overpower the flavors in a dish. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. I’m a weekly regular. And a fan of local businesses.

Cool little place, a hidden gem. I went on a Sunday near closing time (230) and it was pretty quiet. I got the Frito pie with red chilli, and it was done nicely. The red chilli was smokey and not too spicy.

Sopa burger was absolutely delicious! Great food, excellent service!

Just happened upon this little restaurant on a Sunday morning and glad we did! The best food is usually in the tucked away places and this qualifies. The staff waa so friendly. You order at the counter then find a seat. The food is brought out 2 you and it was nice and hot! Serving sizes was plenty. Everything was tasty and the service was great. I will definitely come back again.

Family owned and operated, very clean and super friendly Family staff. There double cheese burgers are the best!! And you have to get chips and salsa.

Came here to find a good breakfast burrito. It is going up against the current king Golden Pride. Walked in to out in a to go order. What's good: Legit New Mexican feel Good prices Straight forward cooking Feel authentic to their culture not fabricated Clean but not too clean Hard working family Burritos flavors are great Did it beat Golden Pride? The flavors of the burrito are great but tortilla is not as good and ratio to filling is not as perfect. I feel like this burrito would be better smothered. Handheld burrito king still remains as golden pride. But would definitely come back for this one as a smothered one.

Don't ever change your green chile!! Love it! My beef burrito did have hashbrowns, would've preferred cubed potatoes, but still good 👍 Wish you weren't so far, I'd eat there more often!@

Another hidden gem in Albuquerque. Went through a long thread on the next-door app about the best breakfast burritos in Albuquerque and was blown away that not one person out of the 100 + responses said this place! I had to send a shot out, and let ABQ know! First, the breakfast burritos are TRULY HUGE. Second, they are soooo damnnnn good, and three they are sooo reasonably priced!!! The owners area always there, everyone is super friendly, and again the food is soooo damnnn good! I mostly have the breakfast burritos but have made it for thier green chili cheeseburger and fries once and that was sooooo good too! My only gripe is that this place has limited hours, would be nice to be able to eat here all day long!

food is amazing! Got the Jimmy-changa and hubby had the frito pie! Delicious! My little one (who is 3) had the taquitos and when asked she said it’s good mama!

I admit that from the outside you don't expect much but inside it is full of friendly, nice people and excellent food. I ordered these smothered burrito with potato and chicken and it was indeed smothered and huge. You're not going to beat the prices and it doesn't suffer one bit because the prices are reasonable.

Home cooking New Mexico style. We love this place. Catch them while they are open and try the Frito Pie or the gravy stack. Always delicious, always friendly.

I used to go to other well known restaurants to taste Mexican food. However, these locally owened small restaurants have much tastier Mexican food. Santiago's is one of them and one of the best. Excellent service. They are very friendly. I really liked their enchilada plate.

The staff is friendly and the food is Great! Same Great food for almost 30 years! I first had Santiagos' 27 years ago. I worked at a shop and we would get the breakfast burritos. They haven't changed in size and quality!

I like the food here it's always really good everything is fresh and they always pack it up really nice we order and then pick up. We Have dinned in a few times but i don't care for the atmosphere. But i do love the food.

Some of the best SW food I’ve had in Albuquerque. Their salsa is to die for too. I highly recommend this one. Be prepared to NOT be hungry afterwards for several hours. SO GOOD!
