What a quirky little place! I loved everything about it. I went on a Saturday night. Though the price is steep, it’s totally worth it. At the door it costs R$50 but only R$35 if you buy earlier online. Samba music was on fire! The crowd is great. Most people dress up but nothing crazy formal either. It’s, in fact, more casual but nice. My friend went in with slippers but they didn’t seem to bother but it definitely looks like a place that would. Haven’t tried the food yet but I’ll be sure to be back for it! The decorations all over is just amazing. It’s like a museum bar. Three floors. Crazy quirky, love it! Staff seemed very attentive!

Really enjoyed the samba party here on Saturday night. Got the tickets on an app called Sympla for about €7 few days before. FYI you have to show some form of ID but they accepted a photograph of my passport that I had on my phone. We got there at about 2100 and just about got a seat so we could order dinner. The bands switched up a few times and the main samba group only came on stage at around 0100. People were really friendly and tried to show us how to dance.

Traveled here with my 2 whitest American friends, I think our hotel recommended we go here to die. We should have probably turned around when our Uber arrived in the most ghetto downtown I have ever seen. I felt like the prom queen with how many people were staring at me with bad intentions. After ordering 1 drink we ran outta there and got in our Uber narrowly escaping a horde of locals with pitch forks and torches. Might get on that I shouldn’t be alive show.

It’s located in an alley, and security is around It’s a must stop for a rio night out. The surrounding neighborhood can look scary and it probably has its issues like any other city.
