Being an Indian i went for Indian lunch and i found nothing Indian... It is all Brazilian saltless, sourless, spice less limited food... Any one looking for Indian food ... Please don't go and waste your money and time... It is not worth of it... There price is very high for nothing

Restaurant is at level 1 of the building. As an Indian, I was surprised with the restaurant name. Nice Restaurant and very good Brazilian host. I was also happy to see Lord Krishna followers in Brazil. Food is Brazilian Indian fusion food. Not very spicy though.

If you are not from south america the food taste and menu will surprise you. Good food. But not even close to Indian food. Run by hare Krishna followers. Nice host. Good ambience.

Um dos restaurantes mais estilosos do centro do Rio. Logo de cara o visitante é recebido com pétalas de rosas e incenso. O restaurante funciona no esquema de prato único do dia e pensão completa. A comida é vegetariana, muito leve e saborosa. Super recomendo.

I loved the experience of being inside of India in the middle of Rios city center. You go up in the stairs and the atmosphere is already awesome. You can choose between two courses and their dishes are also fantastic. Don't forget to try the cold tea as you going out, but beware: it has a lot of ginger in it.

Delicious Indian food with Brazilian infusion. They serve a huge plate for lunch with juice and dessert. Good value for money. Perfect vegetarian food.

Vou ao Govardhana há anos e é um ambiente super aconchegante e a comida é muito boa. Uma ótima opção para quem gosta dessa culinária e com um excelente custo-benefício. O menu inclui o prato principal, bebida e sobremesa.

Uma dezena de amigos recomendou Govardhana como uma excelente opção de almoço no Centro e depois ir posso dizer: vale muito a pena! A comida é muito gostosa e numa quantidade satisfatória até pra quem come bastante (meu caso); as atendentes são todas muito educadas, da senhora que fica na porta recebendo, passando pelas garçonetes e a moça do caixa. E o ambiente? Uma delícia! As janelas com vista pro Buraco do Lume e o da Carioca são um charme a parte. Recomendo para quando estiver pela área e quiser um almoço mais legal.

Great vegetarian meal, quick service, polite staff, nice atmosphere..i had pumpkin nioki in cheese sauce courgette rolls with tomato and a salad..very tasty. The complete meal comes with the soup and desert..highly recommended.
