You have to pull out your wallet here, but it’s definitely worth it. Great service in this super relaxed hotel. And yes; the breakfast is amazing! The subway/tram is just around the corner, which will bring you in no-time to Lisbon city center. There is a beach on walking distance.

My 2 star review is mostly based on the breakfast. This was no where close to a 5 star breakfast. The produce used was of very low quality. It’s almost 2024 and this hotel still serves a sub standard unhealthy breakfast which is great for there food cost and not for your stomach. I implore you to make an upgrade on your breakfast and stop focusing on your food cost per head. Frozen bread, disgusting bacon, cheap cereals, watery coffee, scrambled eggs from a carton. WAKE UP! For some reason the garçons think they are serving an excellent quality buffet.. The hotel service was fantastic and the room also spacious with an amazing view.

I would say that this hotel is clearly overrated. Alright place is nice from outside. They provide a parking. Rooms have space and good furnitures. Bed were clean, cleaning was done well everyday. But it was noisy at night, had to call reception. Also restaurant is downstairs next to room, lack of privacy and people walking all the time. Prestations are good but pricy for what it is.

Very qualititative hotel with great view on ocean from most of rooms. Elegant service. Close to a train station to get to Lisbon in 20 minutes. Close to the beach but a large road aside the ocean is making access not pleasant.

This place was originally a Palace, which was converted into a very nice and modern hotel, without losing its original character. The location is exceptional, by the Atlantic sea shore, not far from Lisbon. It is surrounded by a beautiful and peaceful garden. Inside, the setting is very elegant and takes us to a bygone era. The hotel restaurant's service is sober and efficient. The food is rather good (although the portions could be more generous…) and the available wines are excellent. Prices are very reasonable, considering what one's being offered. I would definitely recommend this place.

Good hotel, nice facilities, it's located in a recovered ancient palace, decoration that matches, the service was average, but went there for an event, so didn't use the rooms.

A great experience staying at this hotel. The staff a very friendly and obliging. The hotel was well serviced and clean at all times. Fantastic views of the sea. The offer spa treatments which I would recommend. The full body massage is well worth every Euro spent. A vast choice for breakfast. Beach access in walking distance. Public transport is easily accessible with a train station conveniently located behind the hotel. There is a little supermarket in walking distance too should you need any basic toiletries you may have forgotten to pack. I can highly recommend that you stay in the beautiful hotel and remember to pack in your swimming costume so you can either make use of the indoor heated pool or the outdoor swimming pool.

The hotel was super fantastic and nicely placed. Easy to walk to surrounding restaurants and beautifully looked after. Good pools for adults and kids. We going back there again in July.

Is there a less comfortable bar/lounge area--anywhere? Pink lighting and hard seating abound! But the location is excellent, proximate to the train station, and the space is massive. Excellent service.

A nice hotel with extra large rooms that have both a view of the pool and the ocean. The hotel is in several parts and it’s quaint but to reach my room I had to go up one floor across to the other wing and then up again. It was just a little pokey… Beautiful grounds and a wonderful breakfast with a staff that was very helpful and accommodating. A nice hotel and maybe I would stay again, but it’s a bit far from Cascais.

What an amazingly beautiful hotel in an old palace. Beautiful views of the water, gardens and Lisbon. Beaches are easy walking distance. We have been to Lisbon regularly over the last 5 years and this is my favorite place. It’s nice to get away from the crowds in Lisbon and be 15 minutes train ride from either it or Cascais.

Overall a great experience, but watch out - the lights in the room are really poor, you bearly see, there's no iron, no room slippers, no tea or coffee available in the room also breakfast is poor... I had better conditions in Ramada Targu Jiu, Romania...

This place is simply amazing, a great experience. Love to be back soon. Staff was so nice as well as food, location, ambiente and surroundings. You feel like you're in a Palace and the garden is so beautiful. Sunday Brunch is a must.

Great hotel with a great pool. Very good service, excellent breakfast. Please note that there is no iron, there is only a paid ironing service.

Brunch was good, albeit slightly too expensive for the variety and quality of the food. Sea food and shrimps were particularly tasty. All in all, a good experience.

Service and food were excellent. Room was clean and spacious. Good location. It was a five minute walk to the train station with a train line from Lisbon to Cascais.

The was our second stay at the Hotel Vila Galé Collection Palácio Dos Arcos and it was just as good as the first time. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. The room was large and clean and we even had the same room as the first time (as requested). The pool area very relaxed and cleaned every morning. Breakfast was fantastic with excellent omelettes - and the view from the water front balcony at breakfast was magical. The Garden well maintained and peaceful. The close location to Lisboa is perfect and with only a 3 min walk to the train station it's ideal for day excursions to Cascais or Lisboa.

Went there for brunch with my family. The food was good but was bad organized. Some dishes were served too full or with dirty bowl- which I think the food went out when they carried to the buffet table without being cleaned or removed. Good side: Nice view. Nice staff.

Beautiful building and decoration. Love the Tea of the Queen for an afternoon of tea and scones facing the sea. The service is always very slow and ineffective, and the act of payment can sometimes be very painful for the amount of time it takes. The staff is friendly but very junior and some investment should be made in their training so that the experience can be more enjoyable and fluid.

Great hotel, good food, clean - not the best for business though - its vacation/spa focus.

Excellent. We stayed in various hotels of Vila Gale group in mainland of Portugal, and this is our most favourite. It is great all around and offers many options as for family and for romantic couples. Service is great and position is outstanding.

I could not have been happier with my stay here, the staff was amazing; we had one hiccup with the laundry service but it was an oversight on the customers part - once everything was sorted we were right back on track! Met someone by the name of Suzy P something or other there - she was amazing. I’ve never felt tighter with someone than I had that day. It will be hard, but I definitely plan to return to try to find her. Something tells me she’s worth the trouble.

Top-notch hotel experience. We needed a break from the craziness of Lisbon and found this to be a perfect place to relax. Hotel is in a beautiful old palace, attached to a more modern building where the rooms are. The rooms surround a very large and pleasant pool. Rooms are modern, large and new, and have individual mini-split air conditioning units. Our room had a view of the ocean over a lovely row of palms and succulents. Location is convenient and peaceful, easy walk to shops and train. The staff here has been fantastic and accommodating for our whole visit. Breakfast in the restaurant was quite good, and we enjoyed the casual hotel bar as well. Overall, a great experience. Technically it's not perfect... the wifi reception is a little weak by the pool. But otherwise perfect.

Great hotel at great prices. They accidently charged me for room service and it was very, very easy to have them drop it. That impresses me. Location was great. We will go back.

Great hotel. If you plan to visit Lisboa you can get a Uber to downtown for €15 for 4 people. Better than train
