The picturesque charm of Lisbon's boutique hotel scene was personified by my recent stay at this hotel, a beautiful gem nestled in the heart of the city. Even before entering the hotel, I was mesmerized by its arresting architecture; a blend of traditional Portuguese design with modern sophistication that harmoniously echoed the city's own character. The lobby exuded warmth with its tastefully decorated design , while the staff greeted me with genuine smiles, exuding an inviting and intimate atmosphere that was consistent throughout my stay. My room was an intimate sanctuary that effortlessly fused classic luxury with contemporary comfort. An enchanting city view greeted me each morning from my private balcony, with the sun's golden glow highlighting Lisbon's distinct red-tiled rooftops. The gastronomic journey at the in-house restaurant was an experience in itself. The farm-to-table approach was evident. The restaurant's wine list was equally commendable, featuring an extensive range of local Portuguese wines to international vintages. What truly set the dining experience apart, though, was the outdoor dining option. Enjoying the exquisite food under the starlit sky, with the soft hum of the city as the soundtrack, was an unforgettable experience that appealed to all the senses. The hotel was not just a place to stay; it was a place to experience the authentic Portuguese hospitality, a gastronomic adventure, and a culturally immersive journey into the heart of Lisbon.

Honestly like every other Autograph Collection property we find these unique, different, fun, surprising, and best of all enjoyable. We’re certain we made a fantastic choice. Deluxe large king room with terrace. Our private terrace was easily 20’x30’. Overlooking a nice Lisbon neighborhood. Breakfast was complimentary (thanks titanium). Breakfast buffet was ample with a pianist inside. I just wish they didn’t have recorded music playing outside over the pianist . The outdoor garden dining area though was picturesque. The room was updated, spacious. The public spaces were unique and clean. Location was perfection. Valet was efficient. Just everything about this property was as expected from the hype. Go. Have fun. Enjoy Lisbon. It’s a cool city just a little hilly!

My husband and I stumbled upon this hotel in planning a trip to Lisbon. We are so happy we did! Staying at 138 made our trip all the better. While the hotel is clean and well kept, it was the staff that really puts this hotel as a favorite. I would like to call out individuals by name but I would forget someone, so kudos to everyone for your smile, friendly hospitality, knowledge and recommendations! Our room as spacious with a high ceiling and the halls had a nice aromatherapy. Breakfast was delicious, the courtyard lovely and service wonderful. I did like the location and felt safe in all aspects. Thank you Team 138, we will be back!!

We spent 7 nights at this hotel. The lady who greeted us at the reception was friendly and had taken into account a request we had made before our arrival at the hotel, which we greatly appreciated. The rooms, bedding and bathroom are quite adequate. But, the room is not very bright, it lacks lights. The negative point of our stay will remain the breakfast. The gentlemen who work at breakfast are not welcoming at all. They hardly say hello or goodbye to you. I think there is an urgent need for the management to train their waiters in better customer service because at the moment this cannot be categorized as a luxury hotel because of the bad service at breakfast. Not to mention the fact that the products offered at breakfast are not exceptional. The scrambled eggs were awful. The beans were always cold, we think they were beans straight from their can. The macaroons were terribly sweet which contrasts with real macaroons. Finally, the breakfast room is not suitable for the number of customers in the hotel. We were tight and uncomfortable. The good news is that you can still progress !

Incredible boutique hotel! Location is amazing and close to a nice park, walking distance to alfama, bairro alto, rossio square and train station. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Hotel restaurant, with a patio is very good and food is delicious. Room has spectacular view overlooking a park/pathway. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Lisbon and would definitely stay at this location again!

Great location. Spacious rooms - but the rooms' interior / furnishing / bath does not live up to five star expectations. But it's definitely a great homebase to explore Lisbon! Go for it!

My husband and I stayed here for the first leg of our honeymoon. The location is wonderful, the service outstanding and the rooms comfortable and well-maintained. We're glad we added the breakfast to our package--it's very reasonable for the quality! Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.

Absolutely fabulous. I’d stay again and have no issues recommending friends stay here. Now, I was upgraded because I’m a Titanium Elite, so I don’t know what a “standard room” looks and feels like. My room was great. Comfortable bed. Good sized room. I worked out of my room for a couple of days and didn’t feel cramped. Also, the water in the shower can get HOT! Which I love. The towels are huge and soft. The service is wonderful. Genuinely amazing people work there, and they’re so friendly. They were willing to help with anything. If I had anything to complain about it’s that the options for water are a little ridiculous. A moderate sized bottle of water is €4.50 - worse if you take it from the mini bar. Although, a couple times they simply gave me the bottle and didn’t charge me. Made it a bit better. Generally, the food is overpriced for what it is. As expected at a hotel like this. I can’t hold it against them. Perfect location. This is where I’d want to stay if I came back to Lisbon.

Excellent stay! The hotel impressed me with its good service, location and cleanliness. The rooms were comfortable, with everything you needed and with little extras that you find as soon as you arrive and are completely amazed. Beautifully appointed room with very high ceilings, so spacious, stylish and chic, we will definitely be back and are sad to be leaving. The staff are all so lovely, friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed drinks and dinner at the bar, looked after by Gonçalo and Paolo with great cocktails, conversation and company.

Sweet short stay for a visit to Lisbon. The location is top w bus, subway 1 min away. The room is huge w high ceiling and modern fittings and the breakfast is excellent, no need to buy pastel de Nata. They have excellent ones in the hotel. 😋. Really nice service all around. The only thing missing is a spa and pool but if you are touring around, you probably won’t have time. There is a nice spa in The One Palacio H10..

An appealing combination of art deco chic and modern design. We had the pleasure of staying there last week. The staff, from front desk, concierge, restaurant and breakfast service, housekeeping, porters and doormen were friendly, super professional and accommodating. We hope to visit again.

This was quite possibly the BEST hotel experience I have ever had. All of the staff at Liberdade Hotel were the friendliest, most attentive and overall just excellent folks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hotel is in an excellent location. The room was spacious and had an amazing balcony view of the city. We were treated like royalty from the moment we first entered the door to the time we said goodbye. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon for work or pleasure!

Did not stay at the hotel but received one of the best dining experiences ever at the restaurant. It made our family trip! The waiter Filipa was a true professional and gave excellent advice on what were the best dishes. Ricardo the bartender put on a show! Made every one custom drinks to their own taste after our meal was completed and made sure the experience was great the entire time. The food was absolutely delicious! The octopus was world class and to top it off the chef surprised us with a delicious plate of sashimi that was better than any I've had before. From beginning to end they delivered an entire experience that was world class. We had not planned on going to the restaurant but are so thankful we did! Thanks to the whole team for an incredible experience!

I like the room a lot - and the breakfast was also very good. It has a gym - but no spa. I’m staying here for a week a combination of work and travel and it’s been perfect so far. Close to everything that I wanted to visit and a short ride from the convention center.

Fontecruz Lisboa is a beautiful hotel & the staff is wonderful. Especially the friendly faces at the front desk. The maintenance guy, Rui went above & beyond to fix our AC that was not working on our first day there. Thank You, Rui! The housekeeping staff were very attentive & did an excellent job of keeping us comfortable. We stayed in the suite on the 8th floor for 4 nights & were extremely impressed. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. A must stay.

Beautiful and spacious hotel room. Deducting 1 star because they did not send the postcard provided as they said they would. My dog and boyfriend's cat were patiently waiting for months but never received anything in the mail. Sad. Edit: we just received our postcards!! Updating to 5 stars. Thank you, Fontecruz.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff. I stayed at the hotel for a business trip and I absolutely loved it. The location is phenomenal and the staff are always there to help with any questions / suggestions / needs. Also, their breakfast buffet is a must. I would definitely stay there again.

Spent 5 nights at Fontecruz Lisboa and the great thing about this hotel are it’s employees. ALL of the employees were exceptional. The font desk staff and bar staff were amazing. Benjamin at the bar was our favorite and the doorman DJ. They were all so great. Our tour guide Daniel was great too and very knowledgeable. The hotel itself was okay. Our room view was great in the Deluxe Terrace. The breakfast was mediocre at best it was the same things almost every day. The Hotel Location was exceptional and the staff was exceptional and I probably would come back.

Very clean and pretty hotel. The hotel rooms are very private and spacious. The customer service is great and the club sandwich with fries is extremely good I highly recommend.

I like the vibes of this hotel very much, from the check in till the checkout with special thanks to the lady in the reception unfortunately I didn’t take her name who was very helpful and very welcoming.
