Hola des de Suïssa! Seems pointless to give 5 stars to a restaurant that already has almost 5 stars out of 1230 (!) ratings, but every star is well-earned for this family-run restaurant where both food and service are excellent. It was a splendid experience to have lunch at Can Pineda. It was one of our absolute highlights of our stay in Spain. P.S. I am still interested in one of your t-shirts ;-)

This was our first meal in Barcelona and wow what a pick. If you want great Catalonian food, look no further. The server was very helpful with recommendations even though our Spanish was limited. It's also very family friendly if you sit outside. There's plenty of space and even a little playground around the corner.

The razor clams with kale alone merit 5 stars.

Wow, this place was tucked all the way at the end of an alley. I am surprised people found this place. Our first night in Valencia, we were starving, and we stopped in because of all the ratings. We ate early because we are not Europeans so it was nice because we were the only ones there. There were eight of us, so we ordered 8 different dishes to try. The portions are big enough to share, and the presentation and the food were amazing. Definitely make a reservation and you must try this place out!!! We tried everything the server suggested. The service was great and they are super friendly. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and each plate had a very different flavor. The bread that came with the meals was great and the best salads I've had in a long, long time💜 Yummy!!!

Excellent service, the staff were extremely attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food was very good: uncomplicated and very flavourful, all freshly prepared. Highly recommended and I would most definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic, me and my friend went here as we were traveling around Barcelona and it was life changing. The food was incredible and the service was perfect. If you are looking for fantastic food with great service this is the place to go. Literally nothing bad about the place and every meal kept getting better.

We wanted to get out of the city center and have some authentic Catalonian food....and boy did we get lucky. Our taste buds were dancing from the first course. A true culinary experience. The staff were super nice, attentive and knowledgeable.

Great spot for a traditional meal with a modern twist. Great find with great food. Highly recommended. The makrel ceviche was phenomenal. Neither of us could believe what fish we were eating.

Friendly staff, delicious food, superb wines, unique neighborhood. One of the best classic Barcelona restaurants. Go for the rice with hare or the small razor clams and you will come back.

Very delicious food in a calm & relaxing place away from the noise of the city center, just not on the budget friendly side.

Great food and fantastic service. I have immediately book for Sunday lunch and I'm bringing my parents. The same family runs another great place that I try to visit regularly, called Els tres porquets. Now it will be hard to decide which one to pick. (One year later) I come here at least once a month and I always have a great 5 stars experience.

One of the best Catalan restaurants in Barcelona. Awesome service, the food was just out of this world. If you like Mediterranean food - you will love it. Had one of the best Oysters (part of the daily menu) that I tried in Barcelona. I would recommend to call for a reservation (or use Thefork app).

Awesome classic Catalan food in an old guard family establishment run by people who care about great food and wine. Meticulous attention to very high quality ingredients, super-friendly service in a charming corner of El Clot.

Not pleased at all with the service of this restaurant / club. Extremely rude people serving us, it was my birthday and they sent us away when we were celebrating. I would not recommend. The music was too loud as well, they didn’t offer any earplugs. One of my girlfriends ordered a salad and we received a rat inside it.

what a find! in a quiet street. Almost a hole in the wall kind of place. Casual family ambience. the taste of the food, so simple and fresh yet so complex in flavours: blew my friends and i away. Lovely warm service too. Love that all the other diners were local and we were the only foreigners. Would come back EVERY time I visit Barcelona. We had lobster rice, turbot, oxtail, cockles, asparagus, amazing cheesecake.... still thinking of my meal there...This little restaurant deserves all their 5 stars
