Nature rich place where you will love to spend time. This is a very beautiful picnic spot. It has a lot of attractions and you can also go boating here. There is also a museum here. This place will make you feel close to nature. Best to go early as you can easily spend 4-5 hours here and if you have time a whole day.

I finally visited this place..... But i really didn't know that it would be a labyrinth . We totally forgot from where we came plus if you don't know where to go you'll miss lots of things like i did.... But it was totally fun . We took a lot of pictures as it's a picturesque place. So yeah nice place to visit with your family, friends and loved ones... ♥️♥️♥️

Nice place for picnic and fun place for kids. Musical fountain is the highlight. Must watch. Timing around 6:00 PM Beware of monkeys when snacking. Cafeteria is now open. You cannot bathe in the canal but there is stream just at entrance which can be used for bathing and fun. Kids area has swings, slides, see- saw etc. Picnic huts are there. Washroom are also available. Good for spending a day with nature and also great for photography.

This place is heavenly beautiful... You should go with there family for picnic ❤Encircled between Sal trees, Lachhiwala provides a calm and fun loving environment for visitors. Children and elders find Lachhiwal equal enjoying. Apart from nature views, visitors like to enjoy fun bath in man made water pools here. A stream from Suswa River is collected in number of pools. Many people try to compare it with swimming pool, but it has continues flowing water of river. Got lush Green Park, with tons of amenities. it’s an excellent place for beautiful clicks and selfless to take. Now it got a beautiful cultural Centre, children amusement park, a topiary theme garden, a pleasant musical fountain, a nature trail, a decent size fish pond and lots of more attractions

Lachhiwala now known as "Nature Park" is one of the popular picnic spots in Dehradun. It has man-made water pools among the forest with a river flowing by. One can hit this place during the summers to swim in the cool waters of the pool. This pool is filled by a stream of Suswa river. This area is also known for its lush greenery. Many nature lovers flock this place many fun activities such as swimming, trekking and bird watching. In fact, the vegetation at Lachhiwala is a mix of deciduous and Sal trees. Also, many nature lovers and solitude seekers come here to find peace and happiness.

Good place for all. They have done a complete makeover of this place and now its very clean and well maintained. Water was crystal clear not sure if bathing is still allowed in the stream or not as I visited in December chills when swimming is not an option. This place have multiple slides for kids and multiple playing area. They have huge parking space and well structured and well designed area.

If you’re looking for a fun and adventurous place to enjoy with your loved ones then this place is surely worth visiting! Your kids will fall in love with this place as they have an amazing kids fun area with a lot of fun activities like swings, slides, see saw etc. The ticket price is Rs80 per head and kindly go by your own vehicle as the distance is around 2kms from the main entrance. The water level is very low so both kids and adults can have a lot of fun. This place has all my heart! 📍Lacchiwala Picnic Spot, Rishikesh

I visited this place a few years ago and didn't find it good for second visit. But recently when I visited this park, it has changed drastically. They have maintained the garden so well. Animal paintings on wall and sculptures are very good. Their garden is much better than the famous Rose garden of Chandigarh. Boat riding also available. Entry charges are very low. The way to the park is going through the forest which makes it more awesome. Sound of the clean water flowing in canal is calming. We also saw the fountain show in night which was so amazing and lasts for approximately 45mins ( charged 100/- per person) I can only say this is beautiful, peaceful, and awesome

Beautiful park and a picnic spot to spend your day with family and nature. You can do boating here too, though you have to paddle the boat but it’s kinda fun. It includes a museum with 2 display rooms, quite interested to watch. Also has few monuments showing Uttarakhand culture. The light show at night is mesmerising, it is based on Uttarakhand and it’s culture but the effects are pretty good. Timing for the light show: 7 pm

Lachhiwala Nature park is an amazing picnic spot near Dehradun. It has been developed in the lines of eco parks near an actual forest range. So you get a pure green environment to spend time. The place has been renovated recently. It is very well designed. It has a children's park which us free and a separate adventure park which is chargeable. Rs. 40 is very reasonable for the adventure park that can give children the experience of net climbing, rope walking, trampoline etc. However there were jo safety measures. These things should be done with safety measures. You also have a small pond where you can do boating by yourself using peddle boat. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The entry ticket cost after 3pm includes Rs. 200 for the Light and Sound water show. I did not like this part. A place that is so peaceful suddenly turns into a rock concert type venue which is jarring for peace lovers. I don't know how so much of lazer lights and loud music is good for the forest. Plus the narration is all about religion and nationalism. Very out of context. So go in the mornings, you will save on the ticket cost and get to enjoy the natural beauty of this place. You can walk by the stream and let sight and sound of water calm you. You cannot swim in the stream. This makes the place cleaner and more relaxing. Earlier this place was like sahastradhara and people used to bath in the streams. But it is not a swimming pool. It is a stream and now you can see it but not go for a dip in it.

love how the government has renovated this beautiful picnic spot of dehradun. bathing in the river inside the premises of the park is not allowed which is for the best. a musical fountain and paddle boating adds to the charm of the place. the only drawback is the lack of any eatery or canteen inside the park.

The park is good as a picnic spot, where you can go with your family or with friends, but now you can not enjoy in water inside the lacchiwala but out you can. You Can boating here and enjoy the musical fountain.

It's less crowded and not well known. This park is about halfway between Dehradun and Rishikesh. You can take a short tour of this beautiful location, it's pleasant and natural where you can hear birds chirping and waterfall sound. The food is the only thing that is missing... There aren't many facilities, but the park gorgeous! a must go.

Picnic Spot, Lachhiwala is a popular local destination in Doiwala, in the state of Uttarakhand, India,[1] and the nearby regions, situated on the banks of a tributary of the nearby Song river. Its major attractions are the verdant forest, man-made water pools and a scenic setting, all overseen by the forest department of the country.[2] It also houses one of the most popular forest houses in the area, which serves as an administrative and tourist center.[3] Local forest authorities estimate that around at least 250,000 people visit the site each year, with peak season footfall in April–May comfortably exceeding 5000 people per day.

Lachhiwala Nature Park , situated in between Doiwala and Harrawala (Dehradun). In old time it was known for downstream bathing, swimming but now the sumeer watter chilling activities saprated from the nature park, but can enjoy it before internal entrance of Nature Park (Entry charges applicable). If any one trying to visit this park from Dehradun side by car then we talk about expenses 1) 150 Toll charge (2way ) 2) Entry charges (Tickets) per person adult 80 Rs & in weekend 100 Rs each. 3) Car parking 50 rs 4) Boating 50 Rs each 5) adventure activities for kids 40 Rs In case of Bike 1) Parking 20 & 25 Whole park is filled with wind chimes for music sound with wind. Intrance created like a heart shape with artificial leafs. If you have a whole day for enjoyment with running water stream and then nature park only for photography then good , But not good for short time visit at this price.

Nice place to visit, can spend quality time with family average cleanliness, not food is costly inside cafe. Bathing not allowed inside the park. But you can take a bath in Ruhi river just outside the park. Musical fountain is not working. Beware of monkeys they can bite you anytime. One monkey bite on wife's calf area.
