The massage was great and the facilities offer a lot of history but at the end of the day it felt more like an elderly home. The inside doesn’t breathe the same history as outside the building, very little vegetarian/vegan options in the restaurant and a bunch of rules that frankly make it all feel a bit uncomfortable. The staff parks their cars in front of the facade of the Historical building and next door is the bottling plant of Vichy.

I’m such a fan of Vichy Catalan that I wanted to visit this spa & hotel for a long time, unfortunately it did not meet my expectations by a landslide. The room we had was horrible (ugly cheap floor, damaged desk, basic chair, empty mini fridge) but thankfully the bathroom was up-to-date. The overall hotel could use some love too. Besides the outdoor pool everything seems to have last been updated about 20 years ago. The spa was small and basic, also outdated. On a positive note the staff throughout was very friendly and the food we consumed was of good quality. However it was such a missed opportunity for the Vichy brand of which I had much higher expectations, I’m glad we only booked one night and didn’t waste more time here.

Easy reach from Girona and Barcelona both by car and train. Ample parking space and large gardens. It is an excellent option to organize events, private or professional. The restaurant offers a good quality/price balance. Prices are reasonable and staff very helpful.

The visit to the facilities of Vichy Catalan, my favourite water, was a struggle from the beginning. I wanted to organise a day at the spa, eating at the restaurant and chilling at the pool. I had to call seven times to arrange the day. as the employees only had specific information and were not customer-friendly. The vegetarian offer is very poor, and the restaurant feels like entering the past. Overall, the feeling you get when stepping into the facilities is of a very stiff and old place. The price to use the swimming pool is 10 €, which is very expensive as the swimming pool is small and very basic. When we arrived, there was an aquagym lesson with loud music on. It's not ideal to try to relax. It is obvious their target is baby boomers, and it is sad they think that older people cannot appreciate a more modern approach. The place needs a director with a vision that brings the spa, the hotel and the facilities to the 21st century! Hospitality is something else than this!

Lovely, easy hotel 5 mins walking from the train. With your hotel admittance you have access to the indoor spa and outdoor pool. Breakfast was tasty with many options. There’s live music on a Friday evening on the terrace. Good choice for elderly or families.

It’s a nice place and I had a wonderful time there. It’s close to the train station, it’s very convenient. The garden is big, so my dog enjoyed a lot. They offer the water in the room and fridge, that’s out of my expectation. They have the hot spring and swimming pool. I think if you want to find somewhere you want to relax, here is the best choice. They are pet friendly hotel, the staff are nice, the dog can’t enter to the restaurant, so they help me to find a spot to have breakfast with my dog, that’s sweet. I will come back again.

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel, did the spa circuit and massage and ate breakfast and dinner there. The overall experience was ok but the hotel missed a lot of things. Mainly friendly staff at cafeteria and restaurant and more comfortable areas. The “relaxed” common areas were all outdated and missed a cozy factor. The spa was also outdated, uncomfortable and very small. I got a massage that was supposed to last 45min and after 30min I was already being asked to get dressed and leave the room. The big name “Vichy Catalan” doesn’t make up for what you get from the experience. I definitely had a better time in less famous spas in Catalunya. The food was not bad and I actually had a decent meal one of the nights.

It was a fine experience until it came the time for the massage, the staff person was on the phone half the time, rather distracted. A shame, if not it would've been perfect.

The hotel is very nice on the outside but for a 4 stars hotel on the inside as we had a premium room it was a bit poor. Mamtenamfr needed. Poor light on the bathroom and on the room. Not very good for to do make up. Nice room size but the bathroom was small. The service on the other hand was nice. Good breakfast and lovely attention from all the stuff. For what was charged we found the room were not so good

Review for spa only- Flori was so kind and helpful and we were able to make a reservation with Jessica at the spa on short notice. The spa is a little outdated, but for the price and the service we received it was a great experience. We took the train from Barcelona for the spa day, and had a relaxing and enjoyable time. It is very conveniently located just a five minute walk from the train station. The area is very quiet and relaxing. We recommend the thermal circuit and decontracting massage. And finish your spa visit with a Vichy Catalan gin tonic on the terrace!

Just visited to take a look and inquired about Spa services amd factory visits which are held only Thursday morning. Friendly service. Everything is clean and greatly preserved, beautiful gardens, interesting architecture. Parking on site.

We are very happy with the trip, the hotel is nice and the staff is great. We had a special request and it was granted, so thank you so so much, Reception! We will come again for sure as we fell in love with the outdoor pool area (we travelled with 2 Chihuahuas, it's also great for pets)

The internet breaks down at times. And there is no free tea and coffee packets in the room. No kettle.

We recently visited Vichy Catalan Spa, opting for a massage and spa circuit. The overall experience left much to be desired. Firstly, the hotel appeared outdated, and common areas like the cafeteria were unwelcoming. Despite not staying in the hotel, we booked a 50-minute massage, only to be shortchanged by 10 minutes. The massage therapist lacked a friendly demeanor, and the cramped, cold room disrupted the flow of the massage. The spa circuit didn't fare much better. The pools were uncomfortable—the hot pool had aggressive air-conditioning, making it chilly, and the jacuzzi's cold water rendered it unusable. The sauna doors didn't close properly, affecting the temperature, with a constant influx of people. Moreover, our €180 payment, which we believed covered everything, ended up excluding towels and swimming cups, information withheld during booking. In summary, Vichy Catalan Spa provided a subpar experience at a high cost. We wouldn't recommend it to others and certainly won't be returning.
