I had the salmon and avocado on toast and that was very nice although I felt like the avocado was not ripe enough just yet. The dessert was lovely but nothing special. Very good service and great atmosphere

Had a lovely dinner tonight at El Recreo. I had a chicken and mushroom pizza that was huge and cooked just right. My wife had a spaghetti carbonara that she found delicious. The service was fast and professional. I like to make a special mention of Dago not alone he was great waiter to us allowing us to use his phone to pick a desert. He's a good person.. whilst we we're having our dinner a lady tripped across the street and he ran over to see if he could help, while others would have turned a blind eye and continued working.

Very Delicious food! All dishes are fresh, and pizzas made from scratch. One of the best restaurants in Salou. very friendly waiter Dago made our experience here super enjoyable, will come back again! :)

It's a great place with tasty spanish food. A must visit if you are in Salou. Really tasty food, we enjoyed it very much. It has authentic spanish food, but also some tasty italian dishes. The meals are not huge, but big. The staff is nice, and helpful, they know some english. The atmosphere is great, the restaurant looks really nice. Lots of meaty/fishy dishes.

Had the menu, which was around €17 for 3 courses and a drink. The prawn cocktail was quite nice, the Cod Gratin was ok, a bit small though, and the cheesecake was a bit small and bland as well. I tried some of my partner's strawberry and cream, which was quite nice, though there was too much cream, not enough strawberry. The server was lovely and conversed with us friendly and casually and was incredibly helpful with arranging vegetarian options for some members of our party, going so far as to completely alter dishes so we could still have the menu. The seating area was lovely as well. A nice, underrated restaurant and didn't break the bank.

Last night in Salou and wanted a cozy little place for supper and found El Recreo around the corner from our apartment. The Columbian waiter very welcoming. The place is quite small and has a nice ambiance to it. The food very good. We had the bread with tomato puree spread on it @ 4 euro. They also gave us some olives to start with. For mains we had the grilled pork fillet with a side of salad and chips @ 11.95 euros. The wine was 11 euros for a bottle. After the meal the waiter brought us a shot of limoncello each which was on the house. The food outstanding great value for money.

Food is good but had better. Prices are good, staff are friendly and nice atmosphere. It's was nice that its on a side road and not on the main road.

Went for a pizza because we didn't have a lot of time to spend at dinner and wanted something quicker. Ended up waiting more than an hour for 2 pizzas when at the same time people were coming after us and taking multiple pizzas for take-out in 10 to 20 minutes. Food quality was okay.

Amazing service, everything was brilliant from start to finish. The owner Dago was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The food was unbelievable 10*, we got entrecôte, pizzas, calamari, and torrezno cooked perfectly and very addictive we have been twice on our short holiday, would recommend to everyone wanting a nice meal that feels like home.

Fantastic pizza and service was great. The host was very attentive, even moved us tables when a few spots of rain arrived. All really good food and came out in a timely manner, not waiting ages but not too quick either. Would definitely come again!
