Service was terrible this visit, waited 10 mins for someone to come to our table. Had a fly in one of our margaritas. The Farley pizza came out so burnt we couldn’t eat the crust. Our duck fat fries had almost no vinegar powder. We’ve had better experiences here but this one was not enjoyable.

"Oh well", were the last words I heard when leaving, as they knew i was not happy. After explaining that there was something wrong with the mussels dish. (Which we did not eat.) We were told that, we were the first to complain about them and that they're good, we cook them with... giving me a recipe... OKAY there was a bad mussel or two in OUR order, that ruined the dish. I have Been here before, I like the place, but they eat we were treated tonight is very upsetting. Makes me think there are plenty of places to eat that would appreciate the business. To tell us they were good because no one complained, was wrong, no one got the same mussels we did OBVIOUSLY. I have 26 yrs experience in a sfd restaurant, it happens, there was a bad mussel that changed the flavor and we did not eat them because it was bad. I understand it happens, what I don't understand, was the way I felt when leaving, and that we were charged for them. Obviously upset and then I hear "oh well". Then if you don't care and you don't need my business, I won't be back and that is disappointing too because we do like the pizza. UPDATE... To the food runner who was giving me a recipe and the server who I guess didn't take serious. Both my kids who tried to eat the mussels are now with abdominal pain and cramps. I guess you were wrong, I just think an apology and not charging me would have been the right move... instead I hear "oh well". SMH.

Fox’s Den is arguably the best restaurant on Main Street. In an almost speakeasy type environment a hard working staff is ready to take care of you with whatever you’re craving. They offer an expansive drink menu with a creative appetizer and entree menu focused on pizza. Everything tastes great and you will be sure to come back. Be sure to get there early as it is popular. Don’t be afraid to ask for sauce on the side if you like saucy pizza as their pizzas are thinner.

This was my time at Fox's Den and I'm looking forward to going back already! This is a cool little basement bar. Had a really good old fashioned! Shared some duck fat fries, which were fantastic, and a pizza with my wife. I also noticed they had decent music playing too. I had an awesome time👍🏾 September 2022 UPDATE: After visiting Fox's Den with a veteran of the place, I have a renewed respect for this place. My buddy was familiar with the bar staff and ordered items off menu🤣 I had never gotten the Sausage Party pizza, mainly because I've only been here with my wife, but I'm glad I did... especially with the spicy honey sauce. Ridiculous!👍🏾

My Favorite! This is MY restaurant of choice when I have friends who visit. It is a restaurant that delivers on everything. Pizza is great, my favorite is the Foghorn Ranch but they may have changed it due to season availability, but regardless all of their pizza options are very very good. Appetizers are second to none, the carpaccio is great, the pig wings are good as well. Honestly all of it is great. The underground dimly lit environment is great and is almost an escape from Main Street. Please! give this restaurant a shot!

Very busy. Only went in for drinks so weren't allowed a table. Had to sit at an uncomfortable bar next to the actual bar because it was full. Getting drinks there was difficult since we didn't have a server and we had to order over the people sitting at the bar.

Enjoyed the underground, dark and relaxing environment of Fox's Den. As soon as you walk in you're hit with a nice subtle, smoky brick oven aroma, from their wonderful pizzas. We tried the pizza and really enjoyed it. It also has a great selection of whiskeys.

I don't remember much after all the fine beer, but my brother told me the brussels sprouts and pizza we had were all delicious.

First off I have to say, this place is just cool! It’s not particularly noticeable (we are regular weekly visitors to DTA and couldn’t of told you it was there) But that adds to the atmosphere. If anything the only downside of a basement bar is the lack of natural light but the experience definitely makes up for that. A very well thought out specialty pizza selection and a FANTASTIC bar selection will definitely have us back

Amazing pizza 🍕 wood oven at plain view. Great selections of beers and spirits. Half off pizza on Mondays.

Wonderful atmosphere, great food and great service. Extensive whiskey menu, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We had the beef carpaccio, the smoked carrots and sausage party pizza (pictured). All we’re fantastic. There is no kids menu but there was lots of pizza for our son to choose from.

Small hidden gem. Probably the best pizza in Anne Arundel County. Excellent service and a really good selection of beers.

Really good pizza and service but the live music was obnoxiously loud - Friday night loud on a Sunday afternoon - and spoiled what would have been a nice meal. We left with happy stomachs but ringing ears. Why do restaurants do this?

The duckfat fries were pretty good. The pizza was great. Service was wonderful as always. Loved the stout selection. The atmosphere seems cozy and warm even when it's packed. I always enjoy myself here. The menu is limited but it's a small pub. Certainly worth checking out.

This location is hard to find, but is fantastic! Our favorite is The Vincent pizza (tastes better than the photo). Pretty cool speak easy vibes.

A poor experience. Essentially paid $80 for two people to get a pizza each and a cocktail each. The crust on the pizza was good but the flavors were a little too inventive to be good.

Great place to meet up for a drink, some apps, or an excellent pizza! They’ve also got a expensive selection of hard to find bourbons for trying. Highly recommend giving it a try!

We went in for an espresso martini. It is not made with real espresso, so it was a little deceiving. The bartenders were very friendly and the pizza looked amazing. I also had the maple old fashioned, which was a little too sweet for me.

od and beer are great .. Just be sure to make a reservation if you're coming at 530 on a weekend with kids, otherwise they look they'll tell you that it's a half hour wait despite an empty restaurant behind the hostess. No I don't actually need a six top for my littles, especially after dragging the stroller downstairs. Bad taste, it'll be awhile before I'm back

The main reason we came here is because they have Pappy Van Wrinkle on the menu, but their food was amazing. Their Brussels sprouts and duck fat fries are really good!

Fries were addicting. But the cocktails are on tap which is kind of a disappointment for a 15$ drink. The vibe is nice and it’s not to loud or crazy so it’s a good place for a date or easy pregame drinks.

Pizza crust is amazing, toppings are often too much. One pizza had both fig jam and honey which made it far too sweet. Also, avoid the stirred cocktails and opt for anything shaken. Not even enough dilution to chill my boulevardier.

Love sitting at the bar! The best service. We love the pizza and they have a gluten free cauliflower crust option. The bartenders make you feel at home and have the best recommendations when you can use a little help. Monday night pizza night!

The pizza is gooey and drippy with cheese with a crust that can hold up all the wonderful cheese. Beer menu is good, waitstaff efficient and friendly, ambiance is fairly loud, but that just makes it better for staying to have a few more drinks. Menu not particularly varied, but I've enjoyed everything I've ordered.

Our favorite pizza in Annapolis. Awesome spot to hang out with friends or family. Always good service and fun beer and bourbon selection. Highly recommend.

The Brussels sprouts are amazing! I could eat them all day with or without the Duck fat fries. So happy your hours are extended for summer!

Wonderful place. I was just visiting Annapolis and the food was delicious. I ordered gluten free pizza and a cider. No issues with the pizza since I have celiac disease and it was so tasty

You're going to walk down these stairs for the first time thinking about how nice it will be to grab that glass of whiskey from a seasoned whiskey tender. Then you're going to see the handful of awesomeness on tap and realize you really want a beer first to go with the excellent pizza you're about to order.

A great little basement bar with a good variety of beers on tap and good food. The staff are friendly and quick to get you something to drink. I recommend the pizza.

Food is quite good. Atmosphere is cozy and warm for being tucked away in the basement! Our server was great, food came out hot, it was very busy and despite not having enough servers on staff they did a great job. We recognize most restaurants are still suffering from staff not returning. Not frustrated we had to wait a little while she was working her butt off. Our pizza was a little burnt but we just ate around the ends. Bathrooms weren't great, REALLY HATE touching a door handle without a paper towel.
