Sinsa rest heavily on a TROOPER brand, very substandard products in general. Stay away from it if possible. Most products break early and warranty is deficient to say the least, performance is mediocre and prices are not even convenient. I found that several "ferreterías" carry better brands at better prices than Sinsa, check out required patience due to a anoying archaic CS system. Workers are very nice, respectful and eager to help you however, don't have the empower required to make a difference. I feel sorry for them.

I paid for a product that they were going to bring from a different location because they did not have it at this one, it then turned out they did not have it at the other location either. They offered me an in store credit instead of a refund, I had to plead with management, and then they eventually agreed to refund the money, but could only give a check, even though I had paid with cash and they had a till full of cash. For being the biggest hardware store company in Nicaragua they have some pretty bad policies.

Mostly like a version of an ACE hardware store in the US. Very dissatisfied with the options and stocking levels. When items run out they don't replace them, especially in the small items like fasteners, handle pulls, etc. If you need something they normally stock you have to go to Managua to get it or if you want a bigger selection. Plenty of employees but they do not offer to help you. There is only one cashier and she leaves her register to do other things instead of asking another employee. No sense of urgency at all.

Compre toda mi cerámica con la ayuda de Roberto, un excelente vendedor con buen conocimiento. Me ayudó a conseguir un bondex especial para mí ducha, el ha sido de gran ayuda. Los precios en Sinsa tienen reputación de ser bastante alto : ps no es asi, he tenido descuentos por cantidad y me salió precio 2 veces más barato que en Costa Rica por un porcelanato de muy alta gama. Recomiendo Sinsa por la calidad de materiales y el profesionalismo de sus empleados.

Watch out and double check your bill: Article prices in the shelves are shown in US dollars, the bill will display a price in cordobas. Almost every time there are articles charged at way higher rates in cordobas and it is always to their benefit. This problem has been addressed to the management multiple times and it still happens. Staff is nice. On the positive side: the have various articles.

Rivas location of national home improvement store. Not half as big as Managua location. But they can order items from Managua if not in stock in Rivas. Helpful staff, but recommend they hire an English speaking person to assist a significant demographic.

They are either idiots or theifs...shorted me 10 meters of electric cable. And wanted to argue with my nicaraguan wife. How can such a big company be so ignorant? Total failure from salesman to management.

It's Interesting to shop in a foreign country for supplies when you so used to Home depot or Home Hardware. The staff at Sinsa Rivas were very helpful!!
