The most authentic red-hot Chicago style dog I had while in town. Great hotdogs and superb fries at rock bottom prices. Definitely plan to carry away as there's no place to eat except a long counter and they do keep it moving. Cash only, so plan accordingly.

When in town, Jimmy’s is a must! So good! This place is cash only(ATM on site) and there’s a small standing area for eating but, that won’t deter me from enjoying the goods. The red hots were my favorite. Stop in and order a red hot or polish.

Old School, better than Jene And Jude's for sure! No ketchup! I wish for the delicious fries though!!

Not your typical salad on a dog. It’s a great dog though. Perfect snap. $4.50 but comes with loads of fries. I usually don’t eat fries but these were perfectly greasy and fried to a deep brown. They must use an animal fat. People were buying their tamales. I didn’t. Something tells me they’re good.

Great hot dogs and fries for the price! Can't beat it for sure. Only giving 4 stars though as when I've been there the past two times the hot peppers taste very bitter and not enjoyable as other peppers I had. Not sure if they just had a bad batch but overall pretty good!

If you are looking for an "authentic" Chicago Hot Dog, then Jimmy's Red Hots MUST be on the list of "Top Dogs" places to go! The folks working there seem like it is not just a job but more a love or passion towards perfection. They knew we were from out of town (I think the southern draw gave us away), and yet they treated us the same as a local who has been there a 1000 times. Had mine all the way minus pepper, she had hers all the way...either way they were Dog Gone Good! One last thing.....DO NOT ask for Ketchup!

Fast service, good food at reasonable price. Been stopping here at least past 30 years. Oh, and so many hot fries covering the sandwich. Definitely get your money's worth.

Love this place! I bought a drink with my polish for the first time and they have grape cool aid. When I tell you that grape cool aid was the perfect addition. Totally with the drive!
