Horrible course just like Bushwood in Caddy Shack only worse. The grass on the greens was very sparse and was longer than most fairways. Aeration holes still in the greens and it is the end of June. Superintendent has no idea what is going on. Don't even waste the gas. Staff was very friendly, he refunded my money. Pictures included are the greens. Can I give negative stars? Even dirty range balls.. can't even take the time to clean them. How does anyone golf/practice here????

Truly has the potential to be a top course, but horribly managed. Edgebrook (a 45 dollar course) has better quality greens and fairways than Fresh Meadow (60+ dollars.)Fairways are cut uneven so you tee off into a tiger stripe, fringe here is rough to deep rough elsewhere. "Pro shop" is a joke in a double wide trailer, they sell beers and seltzers but don't supply ice. They do supply coolers which is nice. They are making money hand over fist but aren't investing it into the course at all. Under better management this could be a top public course in Chicagoland.

Absolutely horrible conditions. I played Sunday morning and they didn’t even mow at all, not even to get the greens and edges nice. Huge piles of old mowed grass we’re piled in the fairways. Holes were moved and the old holes weren't even filled. No green repairs happening. Par 3 tee boxes were completely destroyed. No yardage markers. Sand was completely rock solid dirt. Honestly, maybe they’re going out of business and just trying to squeeze out one last season? Not sure, but totally neglected and basically letting the course become a total crapshoot.

Course is playable, but not great when you consider how poorly tee times and pace of play are managed. Employees are dishonest. I lost a rangefinder there. I was surprised when I called and they told me they had found it. They asked me to describe it, and when I was able to name the brand and coloring, they told me they would put my name on it and hold it until I returned. When I went back to pick it up, they told me they don't have it and that they're not responsible for it. I completely understand they're not responsible for it and it would've been a reasonable thing to say right when I called the first time. But what's the point of vetting me for identifying info for the product, confirming with me they do in fact have it, telling me they'd put my name on it to ensure some random didn't just claim it, and telling me they'd hold it for me just for it to disappear? Fairly certain an employee just ran off with it.

Overbooked when I played, the conditions we're average, not bad for the volume of play it gets. Need to get an actual clubhouse and stop using a doublewide, makes for a poor first impression.

Driving range is a joke. Mats are like hitting off concrete and good luck finding one without holes. The balls get cleaned maybe once a year and about 10% are broken. Spare yourself and go elsewhere

Spend a little more money and golf somewhere else that understands tee time spacing, has a starter, knows how to make fairways different from the rough, knows that sand traps shouldn’t be weeds dirt and rocks, knows to plug holes on the greens that aren’t in play, knows tee boxes shouldn’t be burned up grass or long grass or rock and dirt, knows that people don’t like to tee off 45 minutes after their tee time and then play a 5 hour round, on a day with great weather and no reason for a delay, and knows you should have a cart girl or halfway house to keep golfers, who are waiting on every single hole, happy……I think I made my point, but this course has no course management from tee time spacing to course maintenance, and everything in between. The sad thing is, it actually could be a very nice course.

Like a lot of the other reviews, this course is in terrible condition and way over priced. Management has responded to all negative reviews for several years, so they are well aware of the same issues and clearly have no intention of fixing. They don't even try to defend the condition, so at least they are honest about the poor condition of the course. It does seem like they are going out of business. The 'club house' is a trailer. There are no signs whatsoever of the golf course. The 'sand' traps have little to no sand and are as hard as concrete. Lots of issues with greens and grass being neglected. Not worth the cost and it's not cheaper than other much nicer courses. Wouldn't recommend playing here.

The golf was.. good. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. The course was actually decent and I would have given this place 4 stars. But maintenance was not their top priority. The rough and the fairways looked identical. The greens were okay. There were a few greens with divots. Like divots from a wedge. No one rakes their footsteps in the bunkers. I even saw a few bunkers with tire tracks from golf carts. Broken tees scattered throughout the tee boxes and the trash cans were full. There was no place to purchase drinks, nor places to refill a water bottle. My group was very thirsty by the end of the front 9. They did have a beverage cart after all. But when it finally showed up, while we were at the tee box of the last hole. Would maybe play again but definitely bring your own cooler full of drinks.

Employees were very nice. However, for a round of golf that’s over $60 it might be the worst course I’ve ever played. Every green had tons of divots and places where holes had been moved, the old hole still existed in the green without being filled! The sand traps were also in such bad condition they were unplayable. Felt like cement. Lastly, other golfers were picking and choosing which holes they did and didn’t play which was confusing and annoying.
