My father-in-law loves this place. We were in town and had to bring him back a few of their pizzas. They made them up and froze them for us and gave us instructions on how to heat them up. It’s been a year since he had them last, it was a great treat for him. Great staff, kind, patient and hospitable.

I'm not sure what is with restaurants during 3-5 time frame. The host was really nice, our server seemed unfocused and we were his only table. Calamari was good. I ordered the sausage peppers and potatoes with wine dinner which came out a mush mess. We also had a pasta clam dinner. The clams were so tiny. If you can't get quality clams just don't offer the dish. Do shrimp instead. Prices for pasta dishes are up to $30 way over priced. Server never asked us about our soup, we had to ask for it. It was warm and not hot. Disappointed won't go back.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere all add up to positive dining experience! Attended a funeral luncheon with a set menu and had, soup, salad, chicken, and vegetables, and pasta. All cooked perfect delicious. Will be returning to this location for a dinner in the near future!

Love the place, the ambience, the music and the food here !! Good service. Has lots of vegetarian options! Their pizza and pasta are way better than any of the other Italian restaurants.

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there was a bottle of San Pellegrino at the table (and all tables) with no explanation, and while I suspected that it would be charged to us, my partner said it's probably included as a nice lil somethin considering the food prices. They did end up charging us the bottle without speaking of it, and it was NINE DOLLARS!!! Whatever upper management or whoever decided it would be okay to do what hotels do needs a reality check, that's absolutely foul. It sucks that that happened too because everything else was lovely! The staff were super friendly and communicative, the food was delicious (although a bit overpriced imo), the atmosphere was the perfect blend of nice yet casual, it was great.

My favorite Italian place in the entire country, and my top 3 places to go in Chicago. The food is delicious, the service is amazing and it’s never too busy where wait time it’s too long. Highly recommend the shrimp Diablo, also their lobster ravioli it’s amazing! My friends and family have tried different dishes and always love everything but I stay true to my tried and loved

Stay away from these guys. I placed an order at 9:47 through GrubHub which said they were open till 11pm. Received an order confirmation number and it said my order should arrive around 10:35-10:45 pm. Food never arrived and when I called the place no one answered. At least give me a courtesy call to say that you stopped taking orders online at a certain time so that people don't waste money and sit around starving for over an hour, or update your business hours online if they have been modified. These guys took our money and ran pretty much.

I admire this restaurant! They offer good meals, their menu is nice, The cook in that restaurant is a professional, I enjoy very much tasting all their food. The food is consistently fresh, the attitude towards the clients is agreeable. I visit often this restaurant and I was never discontended. I highly recommend it.

My first time was yesterday! What I can say? Amazing from start to the end. Restaurant is big and amazing. Clean, beautiful inside, chair and tables is great. So many good things. Guys who work over there is always with smiles and friendly! I just wanted eat something and spend time over there. Food was great. First they served soup or salad. I ate soup and I can say soup is amazing, like home made soup I never tried before. After that I order fettuccine alfredo with chicken and was amazing too. Ther served bread too with parmesan and olive oil. I didn’t try dessert because I was full and didn’t wanna. All my recommendations for this place. My first time here And I live away maybe 5 minutes walking. I will go more now. Thank you guys!

Great amazing food! My family and other friends surprised my auntie with a surprise birthday brunch. It was awesome! I did feel the servers came so quickly and moved things about as far as the dishes and are you done notations. I guess I get it, they have a JOB to do. Other than that, it's such a nice place to eat. The women's bathroom... How freakin cute!!! Over ALL, please go. It's worth it!

Normally I don’t do reviews, but saw the need to write this one. I had the opportunity to attend an event by a good friend of mine. I have no complain of the service as the men who were the waiters did such a good job. My biggest problem is when a see a manager not know how to handle her stress and degrade the workers/ team members. I was with a friend and we witnessed how on more than two occasions she would fault the waiters. Someone asked the manager for a lemon sorbet and the waiter didn’t know who ordered it and left it at the main center table. When someone asked for it the manager responded to the guest with “it’s cause I have to deal with stupid people.” (Meaning the waiter). There were other comments made that I don’t want to mention. I thanked the workers as I know they were doing their best. I don’t condone managers belittling their workers, especially when you are saying mean comments in front of them. As a manager, you are expected to lead and know how to be a team player. Based on her behavior it gives me an outlook of how her workers are treated and I wouldn’t support that. I wouldn’t bring my family or friends to this place as I truly value hardworking employees. She needs training on how to work as a team member.

A perfect nice friendly place. Newly remodeled summer 2022. Food is fantastic. Pizza is perfect. Dinners delicious and reasonably priced. Family owned. Come here and I'm sure you will return. Also it is our go to take out and delivery.

I have been coming to Cucina for years prior to COVID and now it has taken a turn for the worst. The portion out the food and have increased the prices. The calamari has been cut in half with an increase to price. The pasta my wife ordered had barely any pasta and sooo much sauce. The special bone in rib eye was $46 and I ordered it medium and it came rare. For that kind of money you think it would be perfect. Service was good. We will not be coming back.

I came here tonight with my family. All around experience was amazing. Is was 830pm and we were seated right away. Our service was good, the waiter was very kind and attentive. Our food was absolutely divine! The owner came over and talked and played with my 15 month old son. Made us truly feel at home. Had a small issue with our food and the owner made it his priority to fix it then came and gave the baby some ice cream. Truly a wonderful experience and would definitely cone again!

We loved this place and were so happy to find it, but sadly the food is no longer the same delicious fare we so enjoyed. Nice people though.

Honestly the best of the best if you’re looking for good Italian food in Chicago- my favorite gem. Much better than any place you’d pay 2-3X for Italian dinner- always fresh seasonal ingredients, always amazing. The service is very accommodating and friendly without being invasive. I can not recommend this place enough!

Newcomer, 1st time there.. Food was delicious. We had calamari to start, salad, rigatoni pasta with vodka sauce, chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan and ice cream to top it off. Definitely got it right when they paired these items for a party package. Killer dinner, nailed it.
