Ordered a large cheese pizza, 2 pepperoni and cheese pizza rolls and 10 wings with a side of ranch. (Wings not pictured because I totally forgot) First time ordering from sportsman and I know my daughter won’t let it be the last! Starting with the pizza sawce, it has an old school taste to it, kind of thicker but not too thick. The cheese was yeah, cheesy! Everything has a very unique home style taste. The dough had a smell to like it was 1999 and mom just walked in with an armful of pizza! Everything was crispy and fresh and if you’re looking for a great tasting pie and a crispy pizza roll with some home made ranch too boot, give sportsman a call!

Sportsman is probably one of the best pizza places in downriver. I crave this pizza when I order it. We recommend this place to all our family and friends. There has been no complaints at all. Staff is friendly and it feels like a real mom and pop place when I come here. Always see the owner working back there as well. As a business owner myself it’s always great to see someone involved in their business. Keep making great pizza and customer service!

I’ve been ordering Sportsman’s Pizza Rolls for as long as I can remember. I always get the original, and have never been disappointed. I’ve had many friends try them for the first time and everyone has loved them. Funnily enough, I’ve never had actual pizza from this place. I can’t find the courage to order anything other than the original pizza roll. They are so big I usually eat half, and refrigerate the other half. If you reheat it in the oven at 350 for 25 minutes it comes out tasting as if it was fresh. If you are looking for something healthy, you might want to get McDonald's. This thing does not sacrifice grease for deliciousness.

I ordered a small pizza with mushrooms , pepperoni and extra cheese it was so yummy. I also ordered a large pizza and I noticed the pie crust was thinner than the crust on the small pizza . So from now on I’m just gonna order the small size pizza . I also want to mention the delivery guy was very professional and super nice . I also ordered a pepperoni roll and a patty melt roll and the large chef salad I ordered was well worth the money it was enough for two meals. Keep up the good work !!

SO GOOD, this place is everything...All of this food for $23 and some change... Yes, try it!!! Big portions, taste is everything you would want!!!! Try it. Pics are Antipasto salad, regular size bread sticks and regular size pepperoni pizza roll with ranch 🫶

I think Sportsmans has gotten too popular for their own good and as such, hasn't expanded or adjusted. The food, flavor, all good. However their service and delivery are terrible. To take an hour and a half for food is unacceptable and absurd. Then to call in and have Kaitlyn tell me it was out for delivery and the delivery take another 30mins is even more absurd. The lack of empathy and concern when calling for updates and to complain about the eventually delivered cold food, is another real issue. Either Todd needs to grow this to a bigger building to accommodate or, as I will do, speak with my wallet and go elsewhere until they lose enough business to make changes. Over 25 years of coming here has come to an end today.

Our food was so under cook and nothing but dough called and manger argued with me about it all I wanted was it to be remade I spent over 37 dollars will not be going back there

I think the bad reviews are comical. It’s just not ok that a place that’s 99.9 percent ON POINT! Gets a one star review from some person who would also have an amazing experience the next 20 times they order. This place is legit the best pan pizza joint in metro Detroit.

The sub was very good if I wanted a sub you could not close, I tried to fold it half the bottom was so wet and the sub bun was raw. Not cooked enough. I had to eat it like a flat sandwich, disappointed

I love sportsman’s I order all the time but the cheese bread tonight was Terrible and I called to let them know and the man said ok. I asked if they were using something different and he said yes. Not can I send you something different or another one just ok. Our pizza was delicious but very disappointed about the cheese bread!!

Got to try the lunch special! Amazing pizza roll. Nothing really like it downriver. And for or 5 bucks its not a bad expensive either. Cant wait to go back.

We’ve been going to Sportman’s for years and love many things but yesterday we ordered pizzas and breadsticks (the day of, might I add) for my son’s birthday party and EVERYONE was asking where it came from! I ordered more than what I really needed (bc who wants to run out of food while hosting a party) and I literally have no leftovers!!! At the end of the party, people were sneaking back inside to grab more and even cold, they were raving!!! I HIGHLY recommend this place if you want to keep your guests super happy!!!

We live in MO and visit MI a few times a year, my husband loves the pepperoni rolls so much that if we roll into town during business hours we make Sportsmans our first stop, even before we see Mom!

Square pizza I wouldn't classify as deep dish if that's what they're going for but toppings were plentiful and I LOVED the sauce, very tomatoey and fresh.

Kind of a little unknown secret Not down river I guess it is well known for their pepperoni rolls at lunchtime five dollars but everything on the menu at Sportsman is homemade like Submarine sandwiches variety of pizzas just really good

Seriously so good. My go to is the silver steak and cheese sub & sometimes a pepperoni pizza roll. I think it's homemade bread? It's poppin', order it. You won't regret it. 👌

Best pizza downriver! Dough is soft and never overcooked. The sauce is thicker than most and bread sticks are huge and soft..just ask for extra parm if u don't like a light sprinkling.

I have never had a bad meal here in my life. I ordered a pizza roll and salad and both were great as usual. I love the friendly staff and the owner is one of the best. I am so glad I got a new job that is very close so I can start eating here a lot more often. Great place to eat!!

I've literally been going there before I had money to buy the actual pepperoni rolls myself... The staff used to let me clean the parking lot and sweep and mop the store for the rolls and I still too this day believe it was worth it everytime!

This is definitely one of the better pizza places in the area. Quality is always good and consistent. There is a reason this place has been in business for over 30 years.
