!!MUST READ MY HUSBAND HAD CANCER THE WHOLE TIME!! Be aware! For 2 years every month my husband went to Dr baxi with neck and back pain, in the beginning he had him do test but for 2 years after didn't do anything else even when my husband asked, I mean nothing, the visit usually consisted of a verbal conversation and that was all, sad to find out that my husband had cancer on the neck being under baxi's care for neck pain, he found out by a dentist assistance when she did an examination after my husband told her that he felt something on his neck, my husband and our family are not the same after this experience BE AWARE OF THIS DOCTOR, he never took my husband seriously, very SAD SITUATION! This is the second time we post this and will continue to get other friends and family to continue posting our experience.

Physical Therapy level of care is great and the PT's are great. The biggest disappointment is the hoops you have to jump through to schedule appointments. They only ever schedule appointments two weeks in advanced and you have to call each week starting Monday to schedule the newly opened week, and only by phone. The time slots get reserved almost immediately so you have to be on the ball with calling each week, which is really annoying and not realistic for busy people. This makes it nearly impossible to have a consistent schedule for your treatment (like if you wanted to come every Tuesday at 6pm) and is just a really inefficient way to handle scheduling. It's a shame because the treatment regiments and PTs are very good, but for every ounce of pain they help you get rid of, the scheduling process inflicts double!

Wasted three (3)+ months sending/faxing previous records to them in the hope that they would help me (have problem with TKR done in 2019, with lower back/groin/hip pain/imbalance when walking-fall risk). HSS has reputation for "being the best" in orthopedic care. Well, their Paramus office did not live up to that reputation. Kept telling me they did not receive faxes/info. i sent them (kept resending same over several times). Finally, was able to get an appt. Then had to call them to schedule xrays/MRIs. Was ultimately told they "could do nothing" to help me; was given the names of three HSS spinal surgeons in their NY office and also told to try to find a NJ spine surgeon, if I wished. Visit w/NJ spine surgeon yielded no resolve (dr. was downright hostile and told me to go back to HSS). Am back to "point A" again. Does anyone know a good orthopedic dr. in Northern NJ that truly gives a damn about their patients and their welfare? UPDATE; I ultimately called the three HSS "spine surgeons" that Dr. Baxi had given me the names of; two out of the three do not accept Medicare/w supplement plan, the third has not called back after leaving two messages. Thanks, again. Also thank Dr. Carli for no follow-up (initial dr.)

My visit here was disappointing. First, I was seen by an x ray tech who repeatedly "forgot" to use the things you need to block radiation when getting x rays. Dr. Wang then spent minimal time with me and gave no treatment. Since then, it appears the office either submitted the bill to the wrong insurance company or they released my information to an office that has since been trying to scam me because I have been receiving emails asking for paperwork from my visit so they can submit it to the right insurance company. This visit definitely caused more trouble than it did anything else.

The physical therapists are excellent but scheduling front staff are so bad , do not respond to you to schedule , give you a month apart for PT which could be risk hazard

Dr. Wang and his staff are excellent. He accurately diagnosed my shoulder pain as a frozen shoulder and recommended an ultrasound guided cortisone injection into my shoulder joint. Within 2 days after receiving the injection, my pain subsided and my range of motion improved. I highly recommend Dr. Wang.

Finally great orthopedic care and i don't have to go to NYC. Park, no GWB or NYC aggravation. Dr David Wang is caring and great. Best MRI and best radiologists in Bergen county NJ. Never go anywhere else.

As a patient of HSS for many years, I would be remiss in not giving a shout out and special thanks to JAMES KIM, MRI tech in Paramus! I was scheduled for bilateral knee MRIs, and he came to my car with a wheel chair to escort me in and again on discharge. He was kind, pleasant, patient professional and the epitome of the excellent staff in all disciplines at all HSS facilities.

This isn't about quality per se, but a warning if you are seeing the doctors and getting x-rays, to make sure the location and the doctors treating you here are in-network. A friend had his BCBS claim denied as out of network even though HSS and the actual doctor are in the BCBS network. Because he had a POS policy, it was not covered at all. Bad news.

Ok I had previously put in a bad review for treatment from them when making an appointment through Doc Zoc. I am changing my review to a better score. After many emails a PA was willing to see me and then sent me to see the pain specialist. The staff was much better in person once in the Paramus facility. Even though they did not fully figure out my current situation they were very helpful and understood how much pain I was in.

Physical Therapy: I had a really great experience with physical therapy with Erica! She was super friendly and helpful. I was being seen post-op for foot and ankle surgery. The front desk associates are always friendly and helpful. It's a little inconvenient to schedule appointments by calling every week. Overall positive experience.
