Outstanding Customer Service and Genuine Care My interaction with Jake at Bay Area Boxing was exceptional and I was very impressed. He went above and beyond to assist me with registration, even offered to provide me with a complimentary lesson to help me find what would be a good fit... He genuinely cared and followed back after a quick online inquiry and made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. Jakes passion for his job and business is admirable. He deserves a five star for great customer service and care.

With zero experience, my wife and I joined back in May and it's been one of the best decisions we've ever made. We've gotten to take the conditioning classes as well as the Muay Thai classes and enjoy all of them. The coaches here are extremely knowledgeable as they constantly push you and teach you new techniques/work on your skills. Both the staff and members of the gym are all super friendly making for a welcoming atmosphere and we've made plenty of friends since joining. I'd 100% recommend this gym for anyone as we've had family who have joined and love it as much as we do. Thanks Bay Area Boxing!

Hands down the best boxing gym in the Bay Area! Jake is professional and ensures that everyone is set up for success. He knows every one of his clients and greets them with enthusiasm. The pricing is reasonable, considering you can take a variety of classes and have access to open gym! The coaches are patient, experienced, and make every class one to remember. I have gained so much knowledge about skills and technique just from one month. If you are looking for a lifestyle change and a community, join Bay Area boxing!

I’ve been coming to Bay Area Boxing since May of this year and I absolutely love this gym! My husband and I go about 5-7 days out of the week for a mix of boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai fundamentals, and regular Muay Thai classes. All of the coaches are incredibly patient and willing/eager to help you develop your skills and techniques. The instructors and members alike foster a community with a strong foundation of encouragement and camaraderie. I would absolutely recommend this gym to anybody! I have already convinced some family members (with little persuasion needed) to join the gym with us as well. Thank you Bay Area Boxing!

Joining Bay Area Boxing was one of the best decisions I've made for my overall fitness and wellbeing. Jake and his team are wonderful! The boxing and kickboxing classes are a great workout and I only wish I'd joined sooner!

I joined Bay Area Boxing with no prior experience in any type of martial art or combat sport. I took their instructional boxing class to learn about the system and enjoyed every minute of it. Right from the initial consultation, Jake, the owner, was extremely accommodating, helpful, and always maintained a positive vibe. He answered any question thoroughly to make sure you have all the information you need to be set up for success. I worked with Coach Alexey in our group class. He knew when to challenge you and when to pull back. I definitely recommend this gym to anyone in the area looking to add to their health and wellness repertoire. The gym culture is also amazing. It has a community atmosphere where everyone is trying to help each other improve. I never experienced any toxic alpha personality at BAB. Any type of competitiveness was always extremely sportsmanlike. I would 100% recommend BAB to anyone looking to get started!

Amazing, clean Facility! Wide selection of beginner and advanced classes with great coaches. Huge area for workouts, multiple benches and squat racks available, as well as, free weights and machines. I work out here 6 times a week and there are always free machines to use. Overall had amazing experience here for past 2 years and people here treat you like family.

One of the most positive gym experiences I have ever had. An excellent gym, with knowledgeable, encouraging, and kind coaches. My past year training here has really boosted my confidence and my athleticism. Special shout out to coach Izzy!!

To put it as simply as possible, if you think that all the 5 star reviews aren't real, you're wrong. The gym is just that nice (: All the coaches and people there are extremely welcoming and very easy to talk too, especially when your barely starting off, super kind in explaining things and very patient as well!

I absolutely love Bay Area Boxing! I really like their methodical teaching, breaking down movements to their basics. Jake the owner is so down to earth and always goes above and beyond for his clients, truly sets the tone by always greeting everyone as you walk in. All the instructors have extremely impressive resumes so you're training with the best, they always make time to work one on one to make sure you are improving in every class. If you're looking to get in shape for a hot girl summer this is the place to be!!!

When I joined Bay Area Boxing, I wasn't sure how it will be. I always look forward and excited to go to Bay Area Boxing compared to other gyms. Each time I participate it's a new experience. The workouts are hard but fun. I only wished I would have joined sooner because I have never experienced anything like this. The staff, and members are great.

Been going here for about 2 years. Bay area boxing is a great gym for anyone interested in/practicing martial arts, bag classes, and full body workouts. Jake and his instructors are super professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Whether you're a complete beginner or more advanced, bay area boxing has classes that will fit your needs, in an encouraging, motivating atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to Bay Area Boxing for over a year now and I love it! My body has changed significantly, I’ve gained so much muscle, and I love the community as well. The kickboxing classes are fun and engaging, but my favorite classes are the upper and lower body cross training. I feel like a different person since going to those classes consistently!

Since April 2023 until January 2024, I've been going 2 times a week to Bay Area Boxing every week! I've done both boxing and kickboxing, with maybe 6/7 coaches in total. All of them extremely good. Personally I've been doing boxing for over a year, but often in classes see people with a lot more of years of training or just beginners. The coaches always walk around and see your form to see how you can improve, and are always happy to answer questions - it's a very good environment for beginners, but also for experienced athletes since the coaches have a lot of experience. I particularly recommend the BayFit Boxing classes with Michael Rodriguez, which always have the best soundtrack and most punches/minute, or the Boxing Fundamentals with Alexey Bulankov to improve your technique Both Jakes (the owners) are friendly and super helpful. I never had a problem that they couldn't help me with, even if sometimes I send a late message to ask for an extra slot to a class that I didn't sign up on time. I'm leaving the gym because I am moving to a different state for work. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Bay Area Boxing first welcomed me back in 2020. I was very shy about going there, but Jake was very welcoming and helpful on my first day. They have a wide range of classes such as kick boxing, muay thai, to ju jitsu. Classes are offered from early morning to late evening to accommodate all different schedules. Their coaches are all friendly and offer all sorts of advice, tips, and tricks to help you perfect that punch. What sold me on the gym was the welcoming & non-judgmental atmosphere and seeing how diverse the community is there. Personally, I've made some great friends there and it wouldn't have happened if I didnt step out of my comfort zone and joined Bay Area Boxing! Thanks Jake and everyone at gym!! p.s. - the first session is free so go give the gym a try. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

After being a member for over a year now I can confidently say this is one of the best decisions I have made. I joined for the kickboxing classes (which are fantastic) and ended up obsessed with the cross fit strength training classes. As someone in their 40's I can say I have never felt so strong and wish I had done this sooner. Jake Delaco and his team have created a welcoming and supportive environment with something for everyone.

Bay Area Boxing is the undoubtedly best martial arts gym you will find on the peninsula. I walked in there with little muay thai experience and have been training muay thai for over a year. The coaches are amazing. Coach Mendoza is an amazing muay thai coach for people just starting out and for those who are competition level. He really knows his stuff. his training sessions are not easy, though, but if you stick with it you will see the rewards. all of the coaches are fantastic and super helpful. they will all give you advice to help you towards your goal. the community is outstanding. the people who train muay thai and jui jitsu come in to train every single day and have been there for years. there are plenty of really good fighters in there that are always super happy to help you improve. the community is focused on working hard and helping each other, compared to other gyms where there are a lot of egos. overall, BAB has the best coaches, facilities, and community to make anyone into a better fighter, regardless of their skill level when they join.

I’ve been working out regularly for about 10 years. I’ve been to all types of gyms and Bay Area Boxing is definitely my favorite. They have an amazing and accessible owner, Jake. He is willing to help you in any way, from developing workouts to spotting you if your gym partner stood you up. The instructors are also exceptional, they are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a lot of classes throughout the day which are all fun, exciting, and challenging. I don’t feel out of place like I’m just going to the gym as a chore, I feel like I’m going to workout with friends because the members are equally kind and respectful. If you are at all interested in martial arts, weightlifting, or just an intense cardio workout, I highly recommend Bay Area Boxing.

I have been a BAB member for about 2 years now, and it is truly the first time I have ever been able to stay consistent, excited and stick to a workout routine. The coaches are always attentive, easy going, knowledgeable and highly skilled in their training. The owner, Jake, knows every member and greets us when we walk through the door, which creates a really welcoming and comfortable environment. There are a variety of classes to try - but I highly recommend the cardio kickboxing and cross-training classes! I have grown immensely in my kickboxing and weight lifting skills with the help of all of the amazing coaches at BAB. So glad I found this gym!
