Definitely won't be shopping here especially at the cosmetics I was going to buy the Estee lauder $120 foundation and I asked them if she could shade color match me No they were too busy talking to each other I asked for a trial sample to take home to try She told me no they don't do that at this store I showed her the sign complimentary 10- day sample to try at home She says they don't do this with this brand I pointed out to her it's an Estee Lauder sign about their foundations She said No

I HAD ALOT RESPECT FOR THIS PLACE UNTIL I GOT VIOLATED AND EVERYONE TRYING TO THROW IT UNDER A RUG. MAKING ME FEEL LIKE I DID SOMETHING WRONG. MY ANXIETY IS THROUGH THE ROOF IM TRYING TO GET MY BREATHING UNDER CONTROL AND NOT LASH OUT. ONE OF THE GENTLEMEN CLEANING THE WOMEN'S DEPARTMENT, WALKED IN ON ME WHILE I WAS NAKED. IM SO MAD IF I WAS RICH AND I HATE TO SAY ALL HELL WOULD HAVE BROKE OPEN. HAVING TO FILE MY ON CLAIM . THERE'S NO AMOUNT MONEY THEY CAN GIVE ME FOR WHAT HAPPENED. THEY OFFERED ME A 50 DOLLLAR GIFT CARD TO MAKE IT RIGHT.SHOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED. NOT ONE ASSOCIATED TALKING TO ME PROTECTED ME THAT DAY. IM SO MAD . SOME PEOPLE LAUGH ,. I DONT THINK ITS FUNNY. I FEEL VERY VIOLATED. ESPECIALLY KNOWING I WAS COMPLETELY NUDE. DONT UNDERSTAND WHY I CANT GET ANY HELP HAS TO BE BECAUSE IM BLACK OR NOT RICH . DONT UNDERSTAND. COULD HAVE BEEN A CHILD IN THE DRESSING ROOM. 👗 AFTER THINKING ABOUT IT. I FILED COURT PAPERS. I BEEN HIT BELOW THE BELT,. VIOLATED AND NOW I REALLY DONT CARE. IM SO HURT AND UPSET. I WISH I HAD OF GOTTEN MAD AND CAUSED A SCENE NOW I SEE NO PNE CARES ESPECIALLY A BLACK WOMAN. WHAT MY INSTAGRAM GOT TO DO WITH A MAN WALKING IN MY DRESSING ROOM. ITS THE TRUTH AND IM GOING TO GET THROUGH THOS KNOWING I TRIED TO MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND THAT THEY DIDNT TREAT ME FAIRLY. NOT ONE SIT DOWN,. ALL THEY OFFERED ME WAS A FIFTY DOLLAR GIFT CARD. IM A GROWN WOMAN AND I WAS NAKED WHEN HE WALKED IN. IT DONT MATTER, IM BLACK, NOT RICH AND . NOT ONE PERSON BROUGHT THE VIDEO. NOT ONE LADY THAT WAS A SALE REP THAT DAY,.THAT KNEW IT HAPPENED. IVE BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH IN MY LIFE TIME. ILL LET GOD DEAL WITH US ALL. IM SO TIRED OF FIGHTING DEAD VIBRATIONS COMING FROM PEOPLE WHO OVER LOOK BLACK PEOPLE WITH NO CARE ABOUT THE FACTS OR THE LAW.

Nice stuff, very nice and friendly staff

I very rarely write reviews but was SO impressed with the El Centro Dillard's and specifically with the two ladies in the Women's Dress Department and the manager of the store. I neglected to get the Manager's Name but he made the final decision and I was so very happy with result. Naomi was one the ladies in the women's department and I didn't get the other lady's name. All 3 were very nice, professional and understanding. I will not go into detail however, I had driven from San Diego to the closest Dillard's store (2 1/2 hours each way). I was there Saturday 1/7/23 returning evening gowns that I had ordered online. Thank you....thank you....I will most definitely return to that store even though it is a long drive....just well worth it in my opinion....and a nice road trip.

Blah. Used to be a nice place, not so much anymore. No customers, no helpful employees, high prices. Employees were like Home Depot employees, walk/run the other direction when they saw you...

The store is clean, and organized, & although the staff is friendly enough, they don't man their posts very well. I had to hunt for a salesperson in housewares to purchase an item. I almost put it back but luckily for everyone, a nice girl in gift wrap saved the day.

employee ISQURA was a phenominal help.. shes an excellent and caring employee whom i witnessed helping customer who said "we came back because YOU were here" .. as she helped me attain funeral attire i learned she an amazing woman with a disabled child like me. i huggeed her goodby .. she made my day.. she is a HUGE ASSET to your store and procured over 350 in. sales from me because of her knowledge of your inventory and current looks.. she needs a raise and a reward.. thank you so much MY DEAR LADY!

Love Dillards. Drove from San Diego to El Centro as that is our closest Dillards. The brands I like Westbound, Investments, Intro etc. are all quality clothing at a reasonable price. All the staff we dealt with were helpful and personable. We enjoyed our shopping very much. Usually shop at Dillards when in Summerlin, suburb of Vegas, visiting friends.

I tried to return a dress that I was going to wear for a wedding and I had taken the tags off already but I still decided to wear a different dress. I took the tags and receipt along with the dress on the same hanger and bag and the lady smelt it and said “this has definitely been worn”. It’s kind of ridiculous to have to explain myself that I’ve only tried it on once at the store.. so weird. I’m sure it happens often when people wear something for an event and return it but this wasn’t the case. Do I have to show them a picture of myself in a different dress at the wedding? What does worn clothes even smell like? Should she have tried smelling the armpits of the dress? I don’t recall her name but she told me to talk to the manager on a different day. Such a waste of time honestly.

I feel kind of disappointed that a man wearing a wrinkled black T- shirt was selling quality watches in the Accessory department. What happened to Dillard's prestige? He really didn't have much knowledge about the merchandise.

Expensive, good quality and not the whole clothing are beautiful pieces. Some of the staff aren't friendly and just a few cashier areas are open. It looks like you enter to a Mexican high class store and not on American one.

Used to be my favorite store but not anymore. Manager behaved arrogant when i made a return on a bow tie I didn’t even use and he claimed i took off the tag. When you buy on Dillards it’s cause you expect a distinctive dress and treatment. He made a drama for 40 dollars and created a bad reputation, not buying anymore.

Dillard's has the best ladies department hand down. They also have a great jewelry department that frequently has great sales. I lost my wedding ring and needed something reasonable to wear with my engagement ring. They had a set of 2 "diamond" bands for $6.00! I get more compliments on my ring set now than with my real diamond ring, lol. I wish there were a Dillard's close to me now...come to Palm Springs please, we need you here!!

Last week went there looking for a dress for an upcoming event. I looked on the junior dresses because the ones they had available upstairs seemed to be more suitable for oldeeer women. I asked one of the girls employee if they had more dresses like the ones by the entrance ( juniors section) to which she responded by asking my age 🤦‍♀️ To then tell me that those were the juniors dresses and the women’s dresses are upstairs 😲 I’m small but I am 28, definitely not a junior but come on. I had already seen the women dresses before and to me those look like a dress my grandmother could wear. I have friends in their 50s buy dresses off the junior section and have never been asked their age soo i was offended hahaha . Anyway I didn’t wanna go back there because everytime I have been there SOME of the girls working apparel just stared me up and down and didnt help 🤷‍♀️ I did however go back yesterday.. No other place in The Valley with decent dresses (that I know of) I bought some nice heels with the help of a young man ..asked if I needed help, I didn’t know what I was looking for exactly so I showed him the dress and asked for his opinion. he suggested several beautiful pieces until he found one I liked. I tried them on a size 7 but had to ask for a a size bigger. They didn’t have that size but he didn’t come back out empty handed , instead he brought me a similar heel pair on the correct size .. he was amazing. One of the girls working on women’s shoes is wonderful too, don’t know their names. If I go back there it’s because of the customer service they provided me with.

Love this store! We travel from San Diego to El Centro or all the way to Yuma AZ, a couple times a year, for a treat to shop here.
