Sadly, this is the second time I’ve had to walk out of this restaurant. I had it once when it first opened and service was slow and that’s understandable for a freshly opened restaurant. In that this is now my second time in the last 3 months to visit this location. We walk in and the service team ignores us completely, we wait to be seated nothing. We wait 5 min up front and decide to grab a menu that’s laying there and go to the bar. No one greeting us yet. I’m looking through the menu the server serves a brand new guest and we have not even got a intro. No bartender nothing. Some guy that works there starts taking with the server. Long story short 15 minutes in total no hello no intro no drink no food it’s sad at this rate this location will last as long as everything else that’s been there. Not long.

Super slow, leaving us starving!! It took half an hour for two dishes at non-busy time (you should’ve warned us if you need this long). There were only 3 tables of customers in the entire restaurant and 1 big table was ahead of us, and they called that table a “big order”that delayed our order (I thought orders are made parallel in a mature restaurant kitchen). I can’t imagine how they can handle the situation when the 20-ish tables are full. Food is fine.

Great atmosphere, excellent service and amazing food. We ordered a cheese bean quesadilla, mushroom poppers, jalapeño bombs and kimchichanga burrito.

New

This was my 2nd time eating at the "new location". The old location ( down the street from here) food was "fire" . The first time I ate at the new location food was good but not as good as the old location. This time around not so much . The first time I had ate the "kimchichanga" was back in 2013 so I know exactly what it's supposed to look like and how it's supposed to taste....Last night i had the kimchichanga w/chicken. The chicken was dry and there were some tough charred peices of chicken mixed in there and the rice was on the bland side . The "wrapper" wasn't cooked all the way (" half crispy") and the middle was on the raw side and it "shrunk" in overall size. I asked for extra cheese and there was no extra cheese added . I think this was our last trip here since I had already figured out how to cook this during COVID. We only went because I didn't feel like cooking it myself because there's a lot different components to putting it all together to get the end result. Other than that... Staff was super nice and the Restaurant itself is relaxing and the decor is nice.. low lighting and colorful, two TVs to enjoy sports and a full bar . on a warm summer night you have the option to eat outside. Cozy booth seating ... Great date night spot. Maybe whoever was in the back cooking was having an off day but it was enough for us not to come back ... I'll just make it at home whenever we have a craving for it. Hopefully if you do decide to try it fingers crossed for "you" that whoever is cooking that day, they are cooking like they are a "Michelin Star" chef because when the Kimchichanga is prepared correctly it's "Fire" and you will truly enjoy eating it.

Just wow! Started with their homemade chips and salsa. The chips were super crunchy and the salsa had a nice spicy tang to it. I ordered the vegan Kimchichanga and it was so good I had to make sure to ask if it was really vegan. My husband had the KKB California burrito and it was delicious. Service was great. If you have any food allergies and food preferences they are very accommodating.

We were pretty excited about trying out this place, as we used to eat at a similar restaurant in LA. We were super disappointed. The food was ok, and it definitely was not worth $20-25 per plate. The service was pretty bad, especially for a Saturday night. We came as a group of 5 and spent $136(no alcohol).Things were pretty high priced, especially being so close to a college campus. It is definitely more bar than a restaurant, and even then, that was pretty empty. The food was ok, there was nothing impressive that would make us come back. The philly sandwich is the only thing that was better tasting than the rest of the items ordered. Hopefully, their service, food, and prices will improve.

This was 20$. I repeat. This. Was 20$. I paid 3 extra dollars for “Beef bulgogi”. No idea where it is. There’s small bits of meat mixed in the rice. I basically paid 20& for a bowl of rice and an egg. Insane lol. At least I know now. Never again. Expensive lesson as far as one serving goes. (Yes I took a bite of egg and rice before taking pics. I wanted to taste it prior to reviewing.)

I’ve passed by this place over a dozen times before I finally decided to give a try and even then, my first order was through an online app. I was completely shocked when my Vegan Kimchichanga arrived at the door and not only looked better than the photos, it tastes amazing! Thinking it was a fluke, I order again and receive the same wonderful deliciousness. Fast forward to last week, when I was in the area and stopped by for a to go order. I had no clue this was an actual restaurant. Lol. I thought it was a small pick up place! The host was kind and took my order immediately. She allowed me to sit in one of their many comfy seats while waiting for the kitchen to prepare my meal. I noticed they have a drink menu (picture attached) and the bartender made me the best Lemon Drop. Will definitely be back!
