Came to the Mission Inn for Beyond Wonderland EDM festival... Stayed in the huge dome Presidential Suite for three nights, awesome. Ate by myself before friends arrived... food and service were excellent... I'm coming back this Saturday with my boyfriend and am thinking about stopping by again for dinner... Either here or the Mexican Restaurant...

Delicious. Perfect. What more can we say? The service, Mario was fantastic! Great service, some laughs and great suggestions from Mario.the dinners perfectly cooked to order. Oh and that little tomato our steaks - OHMYGOSH! What a lovely surprise. Desserts, we did not share and enjoyed them completely!

I must say if it wasn't for Adrian It'd be 3 stars instead of 5. This guy was all over the place and still made the time and effort not to forget about us. As much as having Mario be our waiter, we didn't see much of him. The food was great. I'd have to say those scallops were a hit 10/10 👌😋 The Macaroni Lobster 🦞 was okay, yet the Swordfish was also a Win. Don't order the baked potato it Sucked.... Again Because of Adrian I will be coming back.

FINE dining at its best. Reservations required. Dress Code. Does have a bar and lobby area to enjoy cocktails before dining. Beautiful ans elegant atmosphere. Supreme service. Well worth the money. Nothing on the dining menu is a bad choice. Partial validation for valet parking.

Dinner for 6 was delicious, a bit pricey but worth it. Catalino our server made us feel very confortable with the wine selection / drinks / food. Everything was flawless.

Reservations are not required, but highly recommended. They take reservations through Open Table and charge for no-shows. I absolutely loved my dining experience, but the fact that my party was on time and still had to wait to be seated regardless of my reservation is annoying at best. Located in the historic Mission Inn, Duane's has an incredible atrium and bar/waiting area leading up to the main dining room. Decor is classy and vintage. Out of all the steak houses I've been to, this is by far the nicest in terms of ambiance and decor. While we were waiting, we saw a number of people greeting hosts and servers with familiarity; I can only draw the conclusion that there are a number of regulars here, and I can see why. The food is very good! Service was prompt and our host, Dean, was great! Our drinks and appetizers arrived in reasonable time. Everything on the menu that we sampled was perfect; fresh and cooked to perfection. I strongly recommend the Steak Diane and the Crème Brûlée. Both are immaculate.

Excellent ambiance, good food and good drinks. Great at Christmas time. I had the rack of lamb and lobster. Very good! UPDATE 5/30/24 Went there for dinner again because of our great experience the first time. What a disappointment. The lobster bisque was really fishy and we sent them all back. The food took about 45 minutes to hit table from the time we ordered it. Three of us ordered steaks and two of them were overcooked. We sat there for so long we didn’t even bother with dessert. Really upset with a dinner of that quality when spending top dollar. We won’t return.

We really liked the food. It was one of the best ones we have tried. The wine snd dessert was good as well. We checked the wine price later it was around 90 and we charged 160 for that! But everything was good and we had a really nice time out there. So, I will not take out a star for price, if you know the place is expensive, I recommend it to you. It was 400 bucks with wine, tax and tip for two.

Every aspect of our Anniversary dinner celebration was A+++. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! I had Ahi tuna and my wife had the Prime Filet. I had lobster bisque which was fantastic. The baked potato was cooked perfectly. Not mushy. The starter was a crab cake with braised artichoke on top and we both loved it. We also had lobster mac-n-cheese who's is very good. Desert was a chocolate cake with " Happy Anniversary" written with chocolate along the plate rim. Vodka dirty martini started in the lobby and then a bottle of "The Big Easy", a red blend was suggested and it was a perfect pairing even for my Ahi Tuna. Of course we saved some to pair with the chocolate cake. Yummy!! Thanks to Elise and Dion and all the other staff front and back of house really made our night special. WE WILL BE BACK!!

I stop by The Mission Inn every Christmas, on this Sunday before Christmas we had brunch. The wife got an omlet made her way, I got the waffles and the prime rib. This brunch is at the top as far as I know and I've been to more than a few in southern california.

I first came here a month ago and to my wife's request, we returned for her birthday. This place is top notch! The quality food, ambience and service were amazing. Dean and Dirk go all the way to make each guest feel special. My wife was shocked that Dean remembered her order. Their Lamb Chops are the biggest around.

Absolutely incredible fine dining. The service and food was out of this world. Filet mignon, creamed spinach, and sauteed mushrooms were delicious. The rose wine was good too.

We had our anniversary dinner at Duane’s while staying at the Inn. From the moment that we were greeted and sat at our table the service was impeccable. We ordered the filet and ribeye which we cooked to perfection the whole evening was a perfect night.

I really enjoyed my visit to Duane's. It was my first time and I will definitely be back. The steak was tender and juicy, the sides were rich and tasty, even the bread was and butter was delicious! We went there to celebrate our anniversary and the staff assisting us was very kind, always making sure our needs were met, our glasses stayed full, and she even had Happy Anniversary written on our dessert plates and took pictures of us so we'd have the moment captured. I loved everything about this restaurant, even the art in the restaurant and music is lovely. Also, the atmosphere at the Mission Inn is absolutely beautiful, especially at Christmas time. There's lots of beautiful decorations to get some great photos with. I do recommend doing valet unless you go at a time when it's not busy because finding parking can be a challenge. I highly recommend Duane's I had an awesome experience there.

Loved the food, the service and the atmosphere.. a gem in the Mission Inn. A bit pricey. Paid $290 with the tip for 2 people. Appetizers, the lobster bisque was great. The classic steak Diane and the rib eye were great. Then cream brûlée and Tiramisu for dessert were good too.

Great experience here last night. I used to manage restaurants and this was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. My wife and I shared the burrata, and then the ribeye with scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection. Perfect service. Wonderful ambiance. 10/10 would go again. Make sure you get a reservation!

Had dinner here with a group of six. To say this place is pricey is an understatement but you do get value for your money. Overall the servers were nice and attentive though we found after placing our drink orders, they vanished for quite some time though we were ready to order apps and entrees. Our cocktails were nice and priced for what you'd expect for a place like this. I was quite fond of the Pain Killer. For apps, we ordered steak tips, crab cake and escargot. The steak and escargot was easy to share but we only got 1 large crab cake so we had to split it ourselves. Overall it all taste good. For my entree I ordered the Filet with peppercorn sauce with mashed potatoes on the side. At $75, the filet is one of the most expensive I've had especially for 8oz. I was a little thrown off with the side of potatoes as the server mentioned it as if it were included rather than an add on. As for taste, I would say the Filet was tasty and well made. It was tender, juicy with a decent char. The peppercorn sauce was lacking the pow factor I like in peppercorn. It was a bit on the citrusy side. Overall a good filet but hardly worth the $75 price tag. Its probably a good deal at $50. The mashed potatoes were smooth and tasty. Add a little pepper on top and they were a dream. Definitely think its a sharable portion. We didnt get dessert but the selection seemed solid. Thr atmosphere of the resteraunt was quite good. If you get a good seat, you can enjoy murals from the original sections of the inn. I would recommend trying Duane's if you have the budget and happen to be in the area.

We had an early dinner at Duane's on Friday night so we could celebrate the hubby's bday and see the Christmas lights. We were seated early because the bar was pretty crowded (common for this time of year). We enjoyed a delicious dinner with excellent service. The bone in ribeye was one of the best I've ever had there - tender and perfectly med rare. Looking forward to our next visit!

First time at this restaurant and not disappointed. The prime rib and filet mignon were amazing and very good cuts of meat. Expect to pay more here but well worth it!

Duane's Steakhouse demonstrated excellent service and exceptional dining. I was impressed by not only my servers, Mario and Juliet, but also by the level of quality coming out of the kitchen. My seared diver scallops with corn puree, corn succotash, faro, and chili oil were absolutely divine! The scallops were cooked exquisitely, loaded with flavor and melted in your mouth. The meats, a 12oz New York strip Oscar style and Colorado lamb chops were down right magical. They were perfectly pink inside and seared with a glorious, crisp outside. The lamb was my favorite of the two with a meaty, generous serving size. The béarnaise sauce and king crab legs on the steak were also outstanding. I also enjoyed a tasty blackened swordfish to accompany the New York steak, creating a delicious surf n turf experience. My dessert consisted of a beautifully presented cheesecake that I gleefully finished. My stand out compliment would be to Juliet, who noticed I was cold and offered to bring me a blanket from the hotel to ease my discomfort. Once I accepted, she promptly returned with a blanket and proceeded to neatly fold it and wrap me up in it so I could enjoy my dinner. That's what I call going above and beyond! People were very kind however we must have sit at the table that had been claimed by a fly. Husband got stake had hard time cutting and chewing it so he switched to crab cakes. The best dish served was the garlic meshed potatoes and the warm bread with softener butter. Adrian was the best, kind, patient, caring, anticipated our needs and helpful

We came to Duanes on a Tuesday night. I was given a gift card for my birthday. We were seated quickly as it was not busy that night. The service was great. The atmosphere was nice. The food was good. I gave 4 stars because I think it is overpriced. Yes the food was good; however, I can get food of the same quality for much less. Our bill was $300 for 2 people. I probably won't go back because it's just too much money to spend for dinner.

Went to dinner here recently with some family. They have an absolutely amazing Filet Mignon. To be fair, anywhere you're paying over 100 dollars per person it should be amazing but I digress. Mixed drinks were fantastic, and the entire experience had a very relaxed feel in comparison to other high end restaurants.

Cool mission location, but the food and whole 'Duanes' experience was pretty disappointing. Food itself was not bad, but it was extremely plain, and lacked any flair or signature taste or presentation. My comment to my date was that this was just 'cruise ship' food. Service was hospitable, but far from notable. At half of the price, I would probably not return.

As expected in a Saturday night on December qw wouldn't get a table. 300 reservations they had but hostess was so kind and amazing and offering as to sit in those living rooms they have and we were served better than in a table, great appetizers, drinks and of course conversation. We will come back for another night like this...

Dean, our host was awesome. He was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was amazing, IT'S THE MISSION!! Food was really good. The Bearnaise sauce came out a bit cold but the steaks were cooked perfectly. The inn keepers salad was surprisingly good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

If you are interested in visiting this establishment, you will have an incredible time. My husband and I went for dinner at Duane's as a birthday celebration for him. The moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly faces and felt very welcome. We had heard great things about The Mission Inn's different restaurants but was not expecting such wonderful service. Our maître d' Dean and Marcos were incredible and made the night even more special. We could not recommend this place more and are very excited to return in the near future. If I could give more than 5-stars I would in a heart beat. Thank you for giving us a beautiful night to remember :)
