This restaurant was great, we went there not knowing really what to expect and I was very happy with the service, our waitress Samantha was very nice and very friendly and very efficient, the food was FANTASTIC, we had many different items and was totally pleased, he followed all Covid protocols, it was a very nice experience. Eat local, buy local, shop local.

Haven't been to a Marie Callendars, phewww in years! The wait to be seated on mother's day was about 20 mins. I was expecting it to be an hour or more to be honest. Also our food took about 25 or 30 mins which I didn't mind because it was so fresh and delicious. The servers and staff were all so amazing and friendly. I would definitely go back and I definitely recommend !!

It was good with really fair price! Everything was okay not extraordinary good! We ordered just one food for brunch and it was more than enough. I recommend this place.

The restaurant at this location still holds to the traditional Marie Calender entrées and pies. Food selections are contemporary, service is prompt, and the facility is clean. The pies are very tasty and are generous portions. The pies are competitively price.

Food was good but service was very uncomfortable. Our waitress could completely care less that we were there. My husband and I were the only black couple in her section amongst three more couples. However, she completely catered to the other couples and would just stare at us from afar. Just to get a box Togo was like pulling teeth. If you are someone of color and want a comfortable and enjoyable experience this is not the place to be. Such a shame.

Always good.you can expect to find it the same at all locations. So going in I always know what I want. This one is nice staff is okay wait staff are phenomenal. They cover everything you want and are fast. I had to ask my waiter is he was on skates that fast. Cooks are always on top of everything.

We love coming here. Pot pie and Shepards pie was good as always. Consistently good food every time we come. The service was good too. Our server was super helpful and the food came out fast. Love the pies here as well. The seasonal strawberry pies were bomb!

Pot pies have changed. They put what looks like a flat cookie on top now and call it a crust. Did not appear to be baked there, just the bottom ingredients warmed up and the crust set on the top and had a funny taste like plastic to me. My friend got the same thing and he tasted what I was tasting in his too , not the same , I was very disappointed Service was great. I'm sure I will go back because I love Marie callenders and I just won't order that anymore. Next time I Will order their beef stroganoff , chili, or meatloaf and see if that has changed I am just thankful they are still open and I can go there. So many restaurants have closed that I love.

Food poisoning but great service. Feb. 7, 20223 First time eating at the Riverside Marie Callender's & the last. Service was awesome, but my food was over cooked & drowning in an oily sauce. My waitress tried to get a discount (even though I didn't ask for one)for my troubles, but the manager wouldn't give me one. I ended up getting sick with food poisoning the rest of the night from the small amount of dinner I did eat.

My older sister and I ate at the one that is permanently closed years ago. My sister chose the place as I have not heard of it. Both her and I were very impressed. And we had both eaten at five star restaurants around the country and grew up on finer dining in NYC. For me it truly was a pleasant surprise. We ordered then took our turns going to the salad bar. When my sister came back she told me excitedly that we would most likely not be eating what we ordered as the salad and soup bar was that extensive. I didn’t believe her until I saw the selection of breads and soups and salad items. We both made a meal out of the soup and salad and got our entries to go. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I loved the many choices of bread for the soups. Our main meals were some of the best food we have had on the west coast. I am glad I got to share that meal with my older sister.

My daughter gets the pasta I would say kid friendly they didn’t mind her, people actually came up to us and said my daughter was very beautiful so that was nice. The servers and staff are so amazing always get the best customer service here.

Had lunch today at Marie Callendar's. I was asked in a survey, would I recommend for vegan meals. I'm not a vegan . But, I did have vegetable soup it was loaded with great fresh vegis. I also had a apitizer of buffalo style cauliflower. I enjoyed my experience . Thanks Big John

My sister invited me here for my birthday. I was craving a patty melt, but since it wasn't on the menu, I opted for the meatloaf sandwich out of nostalgia. It was well made and such a generous sandwich that I packed up half to take home. The highlight, though, was the fresh strawberry pie requested with lots of whipped cream... delicious! However, my sister did not fair so well. She ordered a Marie Callender staple, a chicken pot pie. Unfortunately, they've changed their recipe as the crust didn't resemble past visits nor the pictures in the menu. It actually looked very pale, like the crust of my pie... so disappointing to see a dependable favorite go south.

I love coming here for whole pies 🥧. I love Marie Callender’s pies .But to be honest yesterday I went to buy two whole pies 🥧 from the Marie Callenders front desk girl . Well she over charge me and didn’t give me my right change back.I left not thinking anything of it but then I drove back because she didn’t even give me a receipt and as I went back my pie hit the floor. I gave her a bill of 100 dollars and for two pieces bananas cream pies she gave me back 37 dollars. I talk to the manager and she gave me back 61 dollars in change. Just a horrible experience. I have a feeling this woman who is at the front desk she like pulling things a lot.

Busy place but service was good and the food was delicious. I had the mini pop pie lunch special. The pot pie was not mini. It was generously sized and it came with salad and a slice of pie. A real value for under $20(with tip)

I think they're extremely understaffed. Kids got no refills, the waitress was very scattered. Food was blah. Our meal came with pie we got it to go. I will post the pic of the pie she literally just packed for us. One is splattered the other has random debris on top. Last time we go here

Ordered JUST a three chocolate muffin and one raspberry blackberry pie but got two muffins (I was charged), and a French apple pie (which tasted like melted plastic). That was our first time ordering anything from this location and the brand itself but got very disappointed. Three stars for the chocolate and lemon muffin muffins. They were very delicious.

I always feel welcome here, and you should too. Such a lovely restaurant. I go here biweekly and Michael is an incredible server. Management is visible and active in making sure every customer is comfortable. Bathrooms and booths are clean, food is great, especially the classics, and service is fast. Atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Any pie you get is fresh and on point, just depends on your mood. I’m just glad A Marie Callender’s is still open; let’s keep it that way folks and help support this location and keep it busy.

My friend and I go for sure once a month. Discount coupon bogo is a great way to get a deal. We have enjoyed the Riverside location since we were teenagers. It is still a great place and the servers and management are stellar. One of my favorite places. I mean , who doesn't like pie ? 🤷

Yesterday I purchased two adult Thanksgiving meals. One of the meals was a turkey one of them was a ham. When I got home and opened the boxes I saw immediately how small the portions were. The yams or maybe a tablespoon each and the coloring was grayish black on some of the pieces. The carrots and green beans were very hard. And the ham was a small one Little Slice. The turkey gave you two small pieces with maybe a tablespoon of stuffing underneath each piece. Also the stuffing was very salty. And just overall experience was very disappointing. Especially when you consider the price you pay for each single dinner. The best part of the whole meal was the pumpkin pie

Picked up a turkey breast since we're mostly ham people and didn't need a lot of leftovers. It was easy to make, came with directions, moist and full proof. Will do it again in the future. Staff were very helpful and got my order quickly.

It's always good food and service when we come here. Home cooking. And you can't leave without having pie!!! Or take it home if your too full from dinner! The prices are OK, but you're getting good home cooked feeling meals and a nice family restaurant!!

I showed up on a late Tuesday morning and it was mildly busy, not bad at all. We got seated and served our food quickly. The food was delicious; I got a shrimp and chicken carbonara and the other person got a classic chicken pot pie. Everyone was nice and friendly and it was a great atmosphere to sit and eat comfortably.

The take-away dinners don't compare to dine-in, so disappointed. I ordered the Heartland Chicken Pot Pie, expecting the hearty experience of chunks of chicken and vegetables. Instead I got a thin crust filled with a fluffy filler, a few shreds of meat, and over-cooked carrots. It was so bad I didn't finish it. I can get better or similar quality at a supermarket frozen food aisle. I hope this is not what they're now serving for dine-in. My take-away is - no more take-away food from Marie Callender!

This is a very comfy an welcoming location, the parking is kinda tight, however there is plenty of parking next door. The staff was awesome we were celebrating our Anniversary, the drinks came quick and the bread was awesome while we waited after we ordered. The food is great everytime I have ordered here, I love the two for meal, for me I can order one to eat there and save the other for the next day, (works great). I just wish the salad bar was available, hopefully soon! Our experience this time was so good I asked to speak to the manager and told how pleased we were with the food and kind/courteous service. I just hope they don't close like the one in Ontario, CA did.

I had the mini pot pie combo. I was a bit hesitant to get it since a couple of times it was very dry inside and out. I was very pleased that I got ordered it! The crust was flaky, the filling was fresh and hot, veggies were not soggy, chicken was all white meat and no fat and no gristle. I ate every bit! It was so yummy!! This will be my first choice next time we go in. Now service was very good, and our Server made sure our glasses were full. She was quick, and professional. We’ll done Marie Callender’s!!!

Marie's, as we referred to it as kids was always a family favorite for special occasions and I'm delighted to say that, if possible, the food is even better than I remember. Mike, our server was wonderful, knowledgeable and attentive. His suggestions and descriptions were spot on. It was kind of busy, yet Mike always seemed to be right there when we needed him and our meals were all excellent, hot and all served at the same time. Each one looked picture perfect! Though sadly we were so taken with Mike's enthusiasm and the delicious looking and smelling food that no one thought to take pics. No worries, we'll be back soon to correct that. Thanks Marie and Mike. See you soon.

The prices went up, can't find a parking space, then they have the nerve and won't give me cornbread because I didn't dine-in. Really? It's not worth going back for dine-in nor pick-up! Pictured is Mini potpie combo with salad and slice of pie for $12.99 which use to be $9.99.

The food and service was awesome. Our waitress Leslie is one of the best I have ever had at a restaurant. I can't wait to take my family back

We had mini shepherd’s pie with house salad and mini chicken pot pie combos that came with slice of pie each and we enjoyed rhubarb and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Fresh and Hot corn bread slice and butter came before the food. Everything was delicious!! It was nice to sit down inside with A/C and enjoy our meal. The service was friendly and attentive also!

Location looks more busy because of the restaurant next door. My family and I were able to walk in and be seated within a few minutes. Service is good. New York cheese is excellent choice for dessert. Good place to get holiday comfort food. Turkey dinner has good proportions
