I
always
eat
fish
on
Friday's,
so
I
am
constantly
on
the
look-out
for
places
with
a
good
selection
for
pescatarians.
I
found
this
restaurant
on
Google
Maps
when
I
was
nearby.
Their
whiteboard
contained
about
a
dozen
fish
entrees,
from
which
I
chose
Red
Snapper
at
$13.95.
The
fish
was
fresh,
light,
and
flaky.
Chef
had
seasoned
it
with
paprika
and
grilled
it
in
butter.
It
was
delicious.
I
started
with
the
optional
salad
and
was
pleased
to
see
it
include
skin-on
cucumber,
roma
tomatoes,
and
carrot
slivers.
I
ordered
rice
and
beans,
but
the
waitress
delivered
rice
and
vegetables,
which
were
fine
--
lightly
steamed
zucchini,
cauliflower,
broccoli,
and
carrots.
When
she
realized
her
mistake,
she
brought
a
large
portion
of
refried
beans
at
no
extra
charge.
The
rice,
by
the
way,
was
light
and
fluffy.
I
chose
the
freshly-squeezed
strawberry
drink
(non-alcoholic)
and
was
greeted
with
a
huge
tumbler's
worth.
This
excellent
meal
began
with
just-fried
tortilla
chips
and
a
very
generous
bowl
of
not-too-spicy,
house-made
salsa.
The
early
evening
I
was
there
included
a
lovely
duet
of
older
gentlemen
singing
traditional
Mexican
ballads,
accompanying
themselves
on
beautiful
guitars.
A
great
experience.
This
restaurant
is
highly
recommended.
4-7-2022:
I
am
very
sad
to
report
that
I
went
by
this
restaurant
this
evening,
expecting
another
great
meal,
and
found
it
locked
up
and
apparently
permanently
closed.
I
should
have
patronized
it
more,
prior
to
the
COVID
pandemic.
