Pretty decent Mexican food, with large menu of well-prepared, authentic tasting dishes. Soups here are particularly good, especially the caldo de res, pozole and, on weekends, pretty good menudo. Solid quality for the price.

I love this place. I've spent lots of self dates here. It's not my favorite Mexican food. But great ambiance. Sadly with all the recent gentrification the vibe has kinda shifted though. It's starting to feel like any generic Mexican joint. Food remained the same.

First time here. Service was fast, waitress was friendly and very efficient. Food was great....and the guacamole was awesome. Will be back here again. And if you love nopalitos, you will find them on the menu here.

This quaint little place has been serving awesome Mexican food in downtown Riverside for many years but it's too easy to walk by and miss out on great taste, great service, great portions, at reasonable prices. Their lunch service is especially convenient. I had the Al Pastor Tortas this time.

Nothing fancy about this restaurant but the food is Very Good. This is authentic Mexican food. They don't have a full bar but they do serve beer and wine. The staff is down to earth, friendly and efficient. This is a mom and pop restaurant with the kids running the show and that's a good thing. Prices are very reasonable!

Mmm it’s a beautiful day in Riverside and the tacos El pastor with friends and a cold Michelada, perfect afternoon. When you come just ask for Airana!

Pretty good restaurant that offers the usual slate if Mexican food options plus seafood. Pretty good micheladas too! The Chile rellenos were solid!

I always eat fish on Friday's, so I am constantly on the look-out for places with a good selection for pescatarians. I found this restaurant on Google Maps when I was nearby. Their whiteboard contained about a dozen fish entrees, from which I chose Red Snapper at $13.95. The fish was fresh, light, and flaky. Chef had seasoned it with paprika and grilled it in butter. It was delicious. I started with the optional salad and was pleased to see it include skin-on cucumber, roma tomatoes, and carrot slivers. I ordered rice and beans, but the waitress delivered rice and vegetables, which were fine -- lightly steamed zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots. When she realized her mistake, she brought a large portion of refried beans at no extra charge. The rice, by the way, was light and fluffy. I chose the freshly-squeezed strawberry drink (non-alcoholic) and was greeted with a huge tumbler's worth. This excellent meal began with just-fried tortilla chips and a very generous bowl of not-too-spicy, house-made salsa. The early evening I was there included a lovely duet of older gentlemen singing traditional Mexican ballads, accompanying themselves on beautiful guitars. A great experience. This restaurant is highly recommended. 4-7-2022: I am very sad to report that I went by this restaurant this evening, expecting another great meal, and found it locked up and apparently permanently closed. I should have patronized it more, prior to the COVID pandemic. Please check my other reviews for Mexican food.

Their specials are really good. Cheap beer, potatoe tacos on Friday night are a meal of their own and got to listen to some local music.

Second time eating here. Fajitas with steak and shrimp was beyond excellent. Went during Christmas so service was slow but we will be back. I hope this place survives fake pandemic.

I came in here Friday night after work. Instead of the usual Mexican fare, I had the seafood platter. It was very good, there was fresh fried fish, scallops, and jumbo shrimp. Fries as well. There was also chips and salsa to munch on while waiting for your food to come. As for seafood I look forward to try their other menu selections.

Picked it from Google's 10 best Mexican restaurants downtown. They had what a friend & i wanted, AND WE'LL GO THERE AGAIN!! It's been an hour since, and i'm still stuffed!! About a year later, closed by county health dept! Seems to be permanently closed. Just discovered EL PATRON, in the refurbished 1904 train station, at 3204 Mission Inn Ave, across from Spaghetti Factory.

Was craving Mexican food and didn't want to travel too far from home. Saw this on my way home and stopped for a bite. The serving size was impressive for the prices. Staff was very kind, had Vanessa as our server and she was great. Live mariachi music as well. Would definitely return

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! I've been coming here for over 10 years and this is still my go to restaurant when I'm craving Mexican food or just a great meal. The staff really makes you feel at home and the food is delicious! You can order food to go for pick up and it's hot and ready very quickly. It's also a great place to go with family or to go have a beer and watch a game. Try the enchiladas! We can't wait to come back after the renovations!

I was a regular until I was medically benched last August '21. Before City Council meetings, I would have lunch and order raspberry tea and a#4 on the menu. Then, I remember, asking my son to take me there on an off Tuesday. He ordered the Siete Mares Soup and more! If you have a hungry person on your hand, bring them here, fill them up with delicious food, and wobbly out the door after you pay your bill!! Feb. '22 Guess where I'm going when I'm free and healed?? Lol lol
