It’s been years since we’ve been here! We came for lunch on a Sunday. Things started off great with being seated right away. It took awhile to get drinks after ordered them and it wasn’t too crowded. The food came out fast and was really good. The server disappeared and had to find another server to ask for water refills and condiments. It took a long time to get our bill, again we had to ask another server for our bill and she got our server to come. She returned with charge slip and never seen again! There was error on the bill and we finally decided to let it go as couldn’t find server and we left.

I was torn about how many stars to give this place. The hubby and I have been wanting to try Laws for awhile and we had a very mixed experience. The hostess, Brandi, was excellent. She was friendly and took our temperatures and accommodated our toddler very well, was super on it for drinks and was just really great. The waitress was not as great. It's easy to say she was very busy, but we were there at 430 and there weren't many other people there. It took forever just to get our order taken. She was great about bringing the kiddos dinner out as soon as it was ready, but we never got our appetizer, we never got refills or checked on at all and then it took a really long time to get the bill despite the fact that I obviously had a toddler that was pretty done. The food was excellent. It's rare I rave about a kids meal, but the grilled cheese was soooooo good!!! And the fries were delicious and crispy. The steaks, sirloin and baseball cut, were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The three asparagus were just kind of sad, and my green beans were so over cooked. Over all, we definitely want to come back. And e enjoyed the outdoor seating, it's a permanent patio and very comfortable.

I really wanted to love this place, but sadly, they missed the mark for me on my first (and what may be only) visit. I went on a Friday night relatively early, and the best way I can describe it is CHAOS. They're understaffed right now, so I get it, and I'm not even going to bring up one or two of the negatives connected with that. But staffing ultimately comes down to management. But the place was packed, and apparently that's all that matters. For the food, there were pros and cons. I grabbed the sirloin entree, and the prep was good, but the portion was very small, probably a 4-oz cut (the menu doesn't specify weights). At $20 for the plate, the pricing is acceptable, especially since it includes a cup of an excellent soup that they called 'lobster bisque' but is probably closer to a lobster chowder. The prime rib was a good portion, priced right, and well prepared, if a little salty. Both plates would have been improved with a bread option, but that's not available. Some cons: I ordered mushrooms for my steak, but they never came, and I was never actually able to see the bill, so I don't even know if I paid for it. But at $1, I don't really care. I do care that I never got a steak knife (or any other kind of knife), despite asking multiple people for one. I had to borrow a knife from one of my table mates before my steak got cold. But what happened later might help me understand why it was so hard to get a knife. They had to serve the water in paper cups, and they apologized for it, but, still. And it never got filled. A thousand drinks came out of the bar, but never a pitcher of water. Did I mention that the steaks were a little salty? Yeah, I needed some water. But the place was so crowded, our server only made it out to our table twice, once to take our order and once to collect payment. We saw food runners and a busser, but they rarely made a sideways glance our way. It was so loud on the patio that the only way to communicate was shouting. And we had no idea that it was karaoke night... which, apparently it is every night. But there was a private party on the other patio, and no room inside, so there was literally nowhere else to sit. And then a fight broke out! (is that why there were no knives to be had???) We had to leave, so I pleaded with the busser to locate our server. She came, but I never actually saw the bill on the hand-held device, just a total. But after almost 2 hours in the restaurant, we were so desperate to get out of there, I didn't really care.

I went to Law's after 10pm in an effort to get something to eat after finishing a shift at work. The kitchen only had a limited menu of mainly fried food. I had to pass. I gave them a second chance on the weekend during my break. I tried their Beef Dip with fried Sweet potatoes. It was pretty dang good and gotta be the best fried sweet tatoes this side of the Mississippi. The server was sweet as well and understanding. She knew I didn't have a lot of time and served me quickly. Thank you!

I love Law‘s restaurant, the food is fantastic, the prices are fantastic, the atmosphere is fun and the music is awesome. You can dance the night away after eating at this restaurant! The owner is kind and even though Covid hit he is not jacking up prices on his items! My fav place to go in riverside!!!

It's a kewl vibe filled with locals. It's like 2 different places rolled up in 1. Ones side is live music & seats but closes early & the other side is bar seat/tables & pool tables. Outside is split as well but that open on both side. Parking is not the greatest. If you park in the back is dirt road & tight parking. Hope this helps!!

I've been here in the past but only for cocktails and Karaoke, on January 21st I went here for the first time for dinner with my family for my Birthday and I have to say the food was excellent, everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Rib Eye dinner and it was tender and full of flavor. They even gave me a Birthday cake shot for my Birthday. My mom who will be 85 in February says that she wants to go back for her Birthday dinner. The staff was very friendly and polite.

Okay people just when I thought I found one of the best steak places around in South Corona at dos Lagos, I've been forced to eat my words. Last week, I had the filet mignon, which regretfully I didn't take a picture of, it was smothered in an onion and mushroom sauce, and was perfectly tender from start to finish, not to mention the amazing flavor. If you know me you know that I'm of the school that believes steak sauce is only needed on poorly flavored steaks. I didn't use a drop of bottled steak sauce on either the filet mignon last week, or the baseball stake today. I can honestly say that Laws, serves some of the highest quality cuts of beef, that I've ever had the pleasure of dining on, hands down. I truly can't see myself ordering steak, anywhere else, ever again, seeing as how Laws is only about 2 miles from my house. Why would I go anywhere else for an awesome steak that I know for sure I could have only 2 mi from home. So rest assured, from now on when my wife wants a good steak, we'll be at Laws... No more disappointments, no more wondering... My go-to place is Laws. Did I mention the prices are very reasonable.👍😁💯. PS my wife got the fettuccine alfredo, and it was absolutely delicious, and so far every time the vegetables were perfectly cooked.... Stay tuned, I'll be sampling their whole menu, and giving you updates. I CAN'T WAIT!😉

It took over a week to decide to review this place. I want to believe my visit was an exception to an otherwise fine establishment. It had been ten years since I visited Laws for dinner. Came during happy hour. $1 off all drinks. Had a long Island iced tea however it was very weak in the alcohol department. Strange since there are to be 2.5 shots of alcohol. My niece had a mango margarita created in the same weak state. The calamari appetizer was very good. The beef vegetable soup was 10+. The lobster pasta was full of lobster and was a generous portion. I had the PORKahouse (pork chops cut as a porterhouse) dinner with two vegetables. Green beans and broccoli. Both good. Tasted beer mixed in the cheese sauce covering the broccoli...a pleasant surprise. The chop was tough after the initial edge cuts. So tough that my plate moved across the table as I attempted to slice. The server was not attentive. She passed by our table multiple times without checking in. I noticed that regular customers (the servers call them by name) were recognized and served quickly and visited often. When I found out my son would arrive after our dinner was served I told the waitress to be expecting him. He sat down and was ignored. When my niece walked over to the waitress to request her presents at our table, that waitress told my niece she was busy talking. I think the correct response should have been... I will be right there. However, it took the waitress another 7 minutes to arrive at the table to take my son's order. Yes... I decided to time her. BTW his tri-tip French Dip contained slices too thick for this style of sandwich. And the meat was tough. I am sorry to say that it might be many years before I return to Laws.

Law's Restaurant is a culinary gem with impeccable food and drink service. The menu offers a diverse range of delicious options, each dish reflecting a commitment to quality. The drink selection is equally impressive, and the staff's expertise enhances the overall dining experience. Law's Restaurant is my go-to for a consistently outstanding five-star meal.

The Hubby and I stopped by for an early dinner. Let me just say it was our first time and the staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in. Our server David was great!! He was very friendly and helpful he answered all of our questions. The food was so delicious from the entree to the dessert. I loved the upside-down pineapple cake topped with ice cream. 🥰 The owner, Michael, was very friendly and attentive. Keep up the great work!! I will definitely be coming back.

Have enjoyed this place multiple times for karaoke and drinks and always have an awesome time. Servers are on point and have several times brought me a new drink as I finished the one prior and I didn't have to even ask. Food is hot and pretty good! Karaoke is a blast and the the places is always packed on Saturdays.

I hate to say it but it could have been better. Our server was on the slow side and the place wasn't even busy. The food was good but was a bit pricey. Go check it out, you might have a better experience than I did. I will be going back to try other items and to find out if was just an isolated incident.

Definitely 5 Stars. Sarah has such a friendly smile and great service that helps to enjoy the eating experience. The Chef prepares your plate with perfection. The surroundings are lite and friendly with the obvious faithful patrons. I would definitely recommend stopping by to eat, relax and enjoy the food and Cocktails. ** 🍸 🍹 🍸 ** (Prepared be Sarah.) Excellent choice we made on this day. No regrets. ✝️

They have something for everyone! I had a wonderful rib eye steak cooked perfectly with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. After dinner we went out on the patio where they have karaoke every night and cocktails. Also children welcome until 10pm. A great night of fun, thanks Michael!!

We didn't eat, came out for karaoke. Sadly we were too late to get our names in, but the atmosphere is awesome. Inside dance floor, outside karaoke. Pretty cool set up. I'm sure we'll be coming back when we visit the kids again.

I went for karaoke. Everyone was nice, but my first drink was a little weak. The waitress was very efficient, though. There were a lot of people there. But, dress warm if you go because karaoke is outside.

WOW!!! My family has been pleasantly surprised with Laws. We have been there 2 times this past month. The food is fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. The waitresses are cheerful and attentive. The owner has really brought this establishment up to the next level. Its not just a Bar.

I have never been out to a restaurant that is so cozy, and friendly. The bartender Crystal greets you with a smile, and tends to you right away. The food is the outmost tasty!! It's taste is unexplainable!!! You would have to go by to see for yourself!! Even the head chef By the name of "Dee" came out to our table and I got a chance to thank her for the best macaroni and cheese, the fully loaded chicken fries and the soft tacos that we had ordered!! My mouth is watering as I type!! I recommend this restaurant to everyone that has a long day at work and that just needs a relaxing place for a drink with a great plate of food !!!

  • 2/5 Charles M. 2 years ago on Google
It wasn't good. A random guy eating at a table across from the restaurant yelled over to ask how we're doing randomly. Mid conversation. Ordered prime rib and they said it was out then they gave us the option of ribeye. 20 minutes later prime rib came all dry and seemed like the last bits put together. This was mother's day so I will return on a less demanding to see if this is a regular thing. The vibe was really good, the bar seems exciting and the staff for the most part was cool. But for now 2 stars.

This is a cool spot I never knew about. Food and cocktails were fairly cheap, and met some cool people. We had a good time. The pool tables are a bit expensive though, $1.50 per game.... most places I've seen are $1 tops other than that I recommend it.

This is an old staple in riverside all the food is really really good the atmosphere is very local and fun karaoke Every night DJ Really nice outdoor patio seating lots of areas there is pool table and things to do just to do just an overall really fun place to go here and riverside And really the food is all really priced really cheap for what you get it's kind of surprising Service was great also

Got the rib eye. It was delicious! The place is more a bar feel than a restaurant. Sit in the patio or dining area if you want to be away from the bar area.

Very happy place. Went during karaoke. It was refreshing to see so many people having a good time. My kids had a great time too. But definitely more of an adult scene. Owner was very welcoming.
