Came in today for a quick lunch. Had the meatball sammich on garlik bread. Delicious. Never knew this place was here and I've been living here for 3 years. I like that they make their stuff from scratch! Delicious and Tracy was helpful! Happy birthday, Tracy! 🎂

The perfect sandwich! Loved every bit of the Mafia. You can not go wrong. Service was friendly and fun. I properly tipped a couple of bucks and he threw in a free bag of chips! The funky fusion, a great compliment to an amazing sandwich. Highly recommended.

We had a large pizza for lunch. It was good. Bread was light and fluffy. They have italian dishes and sandwiches too!

Antone's has been an institution in Riverside for decades...however, the last 2 times I called, no one answered the phone, around 1pm on a weekday. I decided to drive there, thinking phone was just muted...Nope, "closed" sign in window. The outgoing vm message is 2 weeks old (Sept 30th). Are they out of business? A sign on the door or a reason on the vm message would be helpful for we customers who have been loyal for forty years or more.

Great food but make sure you call first because half the time they are CLOSED! Do not rely on hours posted. Poor management.

How is possible that Americans believe this is Italian authentic. I am 100% Italian and moved to live here and completely shocked about these food. Those are cheap and nothing authentic and the quality is tremendous. The salami is pinky and 80% of fat which should not be. The bread is worst that bun from McDonalds. Please research internet and compare the authentic food from Italy and you will see nothing similar from that restaurant. I am frustrated because I rarely find a real italian food here. Can you imagine that the pizza from Mod Pizza or Blaze Pizza (those chain restaurants) are good and close a real italian pizza. Wake up AAAmericans!!!

Great little place. Not much to look at from the outside, very unassuming. Parking space area is small, so heads up there. The food is always on point! The bread for their sandwiches is awesome, can go to a garlic bread option/upgrade. The pizza is a thick crust that you won't normally find anywhere else. Choice of fountain drinks or cans.

I haven't had your amazing garlic bread grinders in 30 years! I so wish you could ship to me!!!

Been here for a year and never heard of it until today and I’m so glad I finally found it . The meatball sandwich is sooooo delicious and fresh . Definitely coming back!!!

Very rude lady handing me the to go order as if she does not need me as a customer. Food is average and overpriced. Decide to come back to give them another try but the experience totally throws me off.

The service is excellent here. The only thing that I did not like was that there was no shrimp fettuccine Alfredo which is my favorite Italian dish. Except for that, everything else was delicious, and I really loved the service I got. The food was absolutely delicious,creamy and very tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant. You must come to Sunnyside in riverside to partake in this delicious food.

Very quaint restaurant, looks like you're walking into a very welcoming house, (even though some cosmetic construction was being done at the time of our visit). All the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and all seemed to have very bright personalities. Menu is simple to understand, yet diverse enough for multiple categories of delicious options. We ordered two "The Mafia" sandwiches (Salami, Ham, Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato, Oil) and added Capicola to both. We also ordered 2 sides of Pasta Salad. For only $2.00 we received large portions of these pasta salads. We were overall pleased with the portions of everything we received. The sandwiches tasted amazing, and if you like yours a little more like Jersey Mike's, I suggest ordering a side of their Italian dressing to Drizzle on, and it tastes great. Will definitely be returning soon.

The restaurant atmosphere is a great vibe. Tried the mafia finally and it did not disappoint! I'm coming back for the meatball sandwich.

This is the best Italian restaurant in town. The new owner has really livened up the place, the food is fantastic and affordable and the service was outstanding. Keep up the great work!

I'm really disappointed in the service. I placed an online order today and scheduled the pick-up time for an hour and a half later. Went to pick up the order and was told there was no order placed. I showed them the emailed receipt, and the girl at the front goes to talk to someone in the back, then comes back and gives the excuse that they are short staffed. Meanwhile, other people who had also placed online orders were walking in and had no problems with their order. It took them 20 minutes to get me my order. Don't think I'll be going back again any time soon.

Great food here. Know how to cook pasta. Not all overcooked and mushy like a lot of other places. The sauce is decent as well.

My family has been eating here for 60 years and the sandwiches have never changed size or taste! You could spend less at the fake tuna place but you'd sacrifice taste. Their Italian hot dishes are as excellent as their Mafias, etc. I've never been disappointed with anything here.

❤ Antone's. My meatball grinder was wonderful, as always. They're always adding new items to the menu, but the constants remain, like the barrel full of magazines and the helpful, friendly staff.

The best bread and sandwiches in the IE. Mafia on garlic bread is iconic!!! The hot beef is also a game changer along with the world famous meatball on garlic bread.

I had the meatball sandwich which was pretty good, it was perhaps a bit smaller that I would have expected because the meatballs were cut or chopped up. I kind of expected a garnish, i.e. pickle, chips or something but it was just a sandwich. The building was pretty hot inside even though they were not packed with patrons. I guess I'm spoiled by eating at The Back Street with all their garnish goodies.

Literally the best Sandwich place in Riverside hands Down. Can't wait until the beer and wine is available. Friendly staff and the New owners are amazing. If you haven't tried it yet get down there and you will see what i mean.

Owned since 1968. Some ownership has changed, but still the same family. The meatball sandwich is made with squished meatballs, not big whole ones. Yummy!

I went here today after a therapy session, and was craving some tomato bisque soup, but there wasn't sadly any but they did have this promising pizza special, and it for sure delivered. Blew away my expectations, the bread, the flavour, and everything else including the atmosphere and interior felt just at home, I'm definitely coming back.

Good bread and cheese....but not worth the money. Over 30$ for 3 small dry sandwiches with 2 pieces of meat each...very disappointed. Was excited to try this place..but wasn't happy with the food. We will not be back.

Do yourself a favor and get the meatball sub on garlic bread. It is the BEST! I was never a fan of meatball subs in the past, but it's because the meatball subs I'd had before, just didn't compare at all. I am obsessed!

Went in and ordered a Mafia sandwich and Ham sandwich. The bread is delicious, but overall I was a bit underwhelmed on the flavor. The mafia didn't come with dressing and the veggies were very minimal. The quality of the meats and everything was good. Just bland.

Get the meatball sandwich, you won’t regret it. Dang these sandwiches are delicious.

First time having Antone’s and I had no idea this place is the new Italian staple in riverside. Being from New York I am happy to have found a place that embodies the east coast vibes. The sauce is al dente’, their meatballs are amazing, and did I mention they serve peroni’s! Loved everything about this place - we hosted a rehearsal dinner for a dear friend and had the pleasure to meet the owner and his team. What a stand up guy who has created a beautiful restaurant! Great staff, great food, great laughs and an overall great experience. We will definitely be back!
