Nice ambiance. I have only tried their $2 fish tacos on Tuesdays. I'm not the biggest fan of this place it's Mexican food yet they have no horchata. The tacos are so so not the best you can taste the fried batter more than the fish. But in total I spend $4.38 and got full. Maybe the rest of their menu is better.

It was great service from taking my order to presenting my order. I was very impressed since it's by the UCR and could be very busy. I'm so ecstatic because the chicken tortilla soup is back for the winter. I ordered the gourmet chicken tacos plate with flour tortilla instead of corn. As a side order, I specially requested no tomatoes in the soup and substituted rice for tortillas. Everything was delicious.

Considering this is a chain, not too shabby! Service was friendly & quick... But not soooo quick that you question the food! Salsa bar was fresh & clean... I didn't have to taste the fingers of strangers in my condiments! Food was fresh & yummy... Grilled fish, shrimp, and carne asada tacos were all GOOD. Only weird thing was all the "salad" in the carne asada taco... Would be better as more of a street taco with cilantro/onion. And the manager, Azam, was amazing! He was funny and friendly, and even hooked us up with a freebie for next time! :) Let's taco 'bout going to Rubio's!

Very disappointed with the customer service I experienced. This has been my frequent choice for lunch for the past few years, so I see the managers come and go. However, they are always up to par. They provide exceptional customer service. Except today. I dined in and my order was taken by the manager on clock at 12:51. He had no customer service and the ones before went above and beyond. If they saw me with a parking ticket they'd offer to stamp it, he didnt. I asked for extra sauce and he forgot and didn't say sorry or you're welcome when I said thanks (when it was finally handed to me) Also, the dish had very little avacado!!! I look forward to the generous amount they offer. You can compare this photo to the last 5 star review i wrote last year.

fast service, clean place, friendly staff, cant go wrong with that, really delicious i ate 8 fish tacos by myself, great selection of salsa, fountain drink dont taste watered down, delicious.

Ashley is super nice and kind. She is the best cashier ever. Very helpful and easy going. She deserves to be manager. She always makes it a pleasant and great experience when we visit, no matter how busy it is on taco Tuesday.
