Went in on 2-21 for some drinks and the bartender with the beard and beanie was so rude. It was my wife’s birthday and we wanted to celebrate but instead we just wanted to leave as soon as possible. We ordered our drink and he poured them up and lazily pointed to the register for us to pay. The other bartender working saw how rude he was being and told him to be nice but he told him no. He then proceeded to flip him off behind his back. I didn’t even finish my beer and just wanted to leave as the atmosphere was so bad. Great place but this guy is sabotaging the customer experience.

Brickwood is always a great place to hang out, have a good drink, and meet new friends. Also Shawn is the absolute GOAT! Top tier customer service!

The ambiance is in need of some serious lighting. Sure the design and vibe of the spot is supposed to be rather dark but I'd suggest some more lighting onto the walls for a bit more life inside. Besides the interesting ambiance, I'd say the price is much more than I'm used to paying for taps of similar beers. I paid 11.49 for a 12 oz pour of a Tarantula Hill IPA. In most stores you can find a 6 pack for that price. In breweries you'll find 7-8$ 16oz pour off tap. The environment is nice but needs light on the walls to bring some life into the room. I will say the variety is refreshing I haven't come across many places that offer pours of mead which is unique. If the drinks were properly priced, and I was craving mead in particular, I would be here again but until then the city has many other locations to enjoy for the price. A saving grace may have been the flights of the variety, however theives ruined this small locations ability to keep it up due to replacement costs.

3.17.25 I’ve been here a few times and had a great experience, definitely with the people working there. Tonight was a different story the dude had a crumby attitude. Maybe this place needs some replacements

Beachwood Imperial Porter was delicious with smooth chocolatey, hint of some sweet leathery (?!) flavor. Beachwood Sweet Milk Stout was super delish with a subtle smoky flavor. Super friendly barkeep and the vibe is eccentric and cool.

A lot of local craft beer selection on tap price range between $10-$17 per glass of beer. this place doesn’t offer beer taste sample. So read beer taste description, ask bartender and make your mind for full glass. I liked the cozy vibes, interior.

Amazing place to have a beer or wine. An eclectic mix of beers on tap. You won't find Michelob Ultra here, but you will find the beers you should be drinking. Not always, maybe, but today, why not? Also has hard komchuchas. Things for everyone.
