Zero stars!! Unfortunately I had to stay here recently I had became homeless with my 4 children so I received a county voucher and this place was one that accepted the voucher. Upon arrival I was happy because I would be closer to my children's school and the room looked nice and clean. The first night I witnessed roaches but that was the least of the problems because the next day my children and I woke up severely bitten my 5 yr old daughter wasn't even allowed into school and I had to take her to the E.R and the doctor said it was BED BUGS yes bedbugs so I returned and I advised the staff that they had them and the manager and his wife gave me the worst time they in fact blamed me for the bedbugs and then contradicted themselves by saying "yes we have bedbugs so what" I couldn't believe my ears with tears in my eyes and no where else to go I was given another room but I chose to leave because there was no way I was going to subject my children to being bitten anymore. I have tried calling the health department and other places to get them to investigate this place. Staying here was one of the worst experiences of my life please be aware. I also have pictures to prove my statement...

Oh this staff is really stuck on overdone decor up at the Santa Cruz inn That Santa Cruz inn and out Riverside that's the place where I've been You can have a staff infection and still deal with the staff at the Santa Cruz Inn You might as well be sick cuz your wallet ain't thick when you leave the Santa Cruz inn The Santa Cruz inn has been here for years like the mission inn But you don't really know where the furniture has been at the Santa Cruz inn It's been done over and overdone, like they're covering up a sin But the head lady thinks that a classier look could not have been Seen at another two-star motel like the aforementions Santa Cruz inn... ----Blind Melon Jefferson

I reserved a room for a friend from New York at the adorable hotel. The Santa Cruz Inn is a unique wonderful place to stay at. Susan and the staff was amazing providing great service. My friend stayed for 8 days and 7 nights, and truly enjoyed his stay. The room was clean with new carpeting, and a new bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel that was built in 1927 with all it's charm!

Despite the quiet, peaceful atmosphere and cleanliness, I felt as though the hospitality from the front desk was rather lackluster, almost as if they didn't appreciate their job enough to even crack a smile for my patronage. Having done a little more of that, and they might've received a 4 or 5 star rating from me.

I'm a paramedic and picked up a patient from this hotel. Google wants me to write a review so here you go. It was 2am in the morning so everything was dark. It looked pretty nice from the outside, and the room we were picking the patient up from was nice despite her multiple children running around. Just don't wander down the street at night unless you want to be stabbed by a transient or prostitute. Other than that, 4 stars....

If you don’t mind roaches it’s not a bad place. Unfortunately, I can’t handle roaches πŸ™ the set up is cute employees are nice and attentive, rooms are clean, smell good, but the creeps aka roaches come out at night. And then I can’t sleep. If you like to sleep, I’d go elsewhere

I Love the Spanish-style setting! They didn't have the two beds as I requested, but immediately told me once one was available they would let me know. As soon as I walked toward my room, it smelled super clean.

Great last minute fine. Loved the clean and cozy feel and the well kept originality and preservation of the history. Says free wifi but couldn't find it anywhere, but that turned out just fine, we got to enjoy just sitting there and relaxing. The management weren't very talkative and lacked complete eye contact and we're very serious.

If the M Inn is beyond your means you can still experience the mission flavor book a room here

They do have very good monitoring of who is on the premises and don't allow the rift raft they are family focused and try to help keep the kids there safe. Management on premises and cameras are everywhere. They do offer weekly rates which is a plus and certain rooms have two bedrooms it's like little apartments.
