This place charged my card. And when I went to check in they gave my room up and i had called ahead of time to explain im still on the road and will be checking in late. the front desk person said they called me. But no one called me, I have no missed call.

The staff where friendly and the women greet you with great welcoming with the big smile on there face. The rooms where very cleaned. The main door to our room seemed to have a gap in between the edge, so cold air was able to come in. Other then that it was very safe peaceful felt very safe and the price was great and security deposit was pretty cheap better then a lot of the others. Was very surprised will be going back.

Honestly I just felt really disgusting I couldn’t sleep because I felt really itchy and there is a lot of roaches like I told my wife first and last time I’m staying here and I will share with friends so that they know not to come here unless they fix the pest problem and get newer sheets without stains because it’s honestly really gross

Absolutely atrocious female employee shouted at my husband the moment we arrived while he was taking our fresh out of surgery pup to go to the rest room in the designated area she would not stop screaming the entire time at him! We were double charged and not refunded our deposit when we left the room in better shape then it was when we arrived! Scandalous!

This was the worst motel 6 I’ve been to. They are usually decent for the price but this one was just FILTHY. Old candy and chips behind the bed so you can tell they never bother to sweep. I picked up a towel and it had hair all in it like they didn’t even bother . There was only a half roll of tissue for me and my two young girls and the room smelled of urine. Will never travel to this motel 6 if my life depended on it.

Never stay here. We checked in and then left shortly after. Roaches crawling on the walls and headboards. Crumbs and food left under the bed. The bathroom looked like it was mid construction with exposed screws and unpainted drywall. When you flushed the toilet it sprayed its contents out at your. Sink faucet was loose. Remote battery cover missing so batteries were falling out. USB plugs by bed didn't work. Air conditioner had two settings - arctic cold or off. Only a blackout curtain so it was either dark in the room or it was super bright with no privacy. Non-Smoking room stunk like a combination of cigarette smoke, weed and super harsh chemicals to try to mask the smell.

I was so embarrassed by the condition of the room. I rented this room for 5 nights for family that came to visit and it was ugly, outdated, worn out everything smelled badly, this is the worst motel 6 I've ever experienced. Never going to rent a room from this place again. The basement in that 70s show is more modern than this dump. If you want comfort and a clean room don't come here....

This hotel is disgusting there are roaches everywhere, i changed rooms twice and still roaches. I asked for a refund but was denied it for staying in the room too long, front desk was alright they were polite but managerial staff was horrible, do not stay at this god forsaken hotel the TV breaks down every time mini fridges dont cool, they dont stock the towels in the rooms and when they do theyre dirty sanitation is bad the houskeepers try their best but they are so under staffed and under stocked that they cant clean effeciently at this point thisbplace can be a hotspot for covid, and other diseases. Due to the fact that when we brought our concerns to the manager they disregarded the comment and ushered us out and forced us to leave as if we were causing trouble, they hide the fact that they have a horrible business i dont even know how they still function, for everyone planning to stay here DONT its not worth it and if you try to get a refund for how bad it is they will throw every excuse so they don't, do not stay here!!!

AC didn't work, and the mini refrigerator didn't work. The room floors were dusty. The bed was okay. The television worked, and the picture was good. The height of the tiolet is low and difficult to get up for a TALL person. Overall, I give it a 3. It's okay.

This exact room was good back in April but I've had the AC going at 61° since I checked in about 5:30pm It is now 932. I should be wanting to put a jacket on right now. Refrigerator doesn't work for C@RP, the ice machine doesn't work at all so I had to go to the shell station and buy a bag of ice finally. So ice machine refrigerator and air conditioner don't work. I realized it's 82° outside with a humidity of 51% but this room should at least be semi cool and it's just warm. And the USB ports don't work on the wall. Is luckily I brought enough of everything to fix that.

There was a bed bug and one of my friends got bitten bad . They tried to convince me it was mosquitoes and I let it go until I actually saw the bug in the room when I returned. They called pest control but the attitude towards me was rude even w pictures and bringing the actual bed bug to them . Even after they acted as if they should be mad for refunding me instead of me being upset. I wouldn't recommend

Room was kept exceptionally clean by motel staff, Gave it 4 stars because each night, of a 3 night stay, when we returned to our room the key card was not working and had to go the office to get it reprogrammed.

  • 1/5 Robert M. 1 year ago on Google
Didn't check in by 6 pm so they gave my room away and still charged my card. Man at front desk said he was new and couldn't help me. Told to come back the next day to speak to the manager. After everything, had to call the bank to dispute.

Nasty place!! Nasty, filthy, stained towels. Odiferous azz room! No security, nor cameras. Threats of being towed posted everywhere, yet staff never asked for vehicles information. Vagrants and randoms walking/parking on site and leaving. Cigarette burns all on the toilet seat in a no smoking room. Sheets stained/blankets had holes. Shower was nasty as fuk. Waited to clean up at family members house later. Was visiting for funeral. Bathrooms at the gas station and staff was cleaner there!

This hotel is very basic, actually , below basic, They charge over 100$ to stay there, and 50$ deposit,.Dont be fooled, by the surounding area, The rooms walls are made with thin plywood, them painted, You hear people outside, and people having their fake, intimate relations next door, The front desk was taking a long time to get us checked in, and acting weird, The owners are Pakistani , and they stare at you weird,, (Thats a sign,) (Something is wrong) Not too stay at that property, if that happens again, ...Just change your mind, from staying there, at the front desk...My opinion, avoid this place, couldnt sleep all night!!

All the staff are amazing and I love my comfy bed and room. My upstairs neighbors are noisy until after 4am. I NEVER get peace. I’m sleep deprived. They should be downstairs and not me have to move rooms.

They like to go in your room without permission while you're gone

Been staying at M6s for several decades, now. This property is not up to par. Wear holes in the curtains were taped over. If that doesn't tell you what you need to know, dunno what would.

This Motel 6 obviously has to be Franchised. Because corporate would not let this motel be in the shape that it is in. There is horrible DIY renovating jobs all throughout the place and rooms. The lobby has no carpet or flooring. It’s stripped down to the concrete subfloor. Our bathroom in our room had a sagging shower curtain rod and the shower curtain never stayed fully open. The shower head barely let out any water. Only a trickle came out and didn’t even cover your body. Police presence was very strong there. It seemed every 30 min they came through the parking lot slowly. Which I didn’t mind because the type of crowd hanging around there didn’t seem the best or friendliest. The rooms didn’t even have cable. It had only digital air channels. Which was constantly going in and out and you can’t even hear a complete sentence on any tv show. And to top it off, we had numerous ROACHES in our room. They were in the room refrigerator. Yup, inside the fridge. They were crawling up the walls, on the floor. Coming from out under our beds. They were under my shoes. I lifted up my bed and found a big one already dead. I immediately took all my belongings and took them off the floor. I went and spoke to the office in the morning and asked if they have pest control or spray the property and rooms and she said yes. I then told her that I have numerous roaches in my room. The employee offered me a CAN OF ROACH SPRAY and told me to bring it back! I was a little taken back by her response and paused a few moments and then she said maintenance or the maid can do it for me. I declined her “nice “ gesture and took the can of roach spray to my room. After I sprayed all the baseboards and around my bed area, which I believe I only made the roaches upset because they all started coming out from the bed, the fridge, and the baseboards. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL 6 on University Ave in Riverside, CA for anyone. I wasn’t even offered another room of my choice ( which is fine because the roaches are probably in ALL the rooms). I wasn’t compensated for spraying my own room which I paid for or anything. Not even an apology for my disruption in my stay. See photos I took on my stay at this motel.

The floor in my room had stains on it, the mattress was little thin and kept sliding off. And the heater didn’t work that great.

Awful location in Riverside, but didn’t hear any riff raff. For a Motel 6 the room was surprisingly clean and modern-ish. Four stars!

GO TO A DIFFERENT MOTEL !!! Maids feel free to walk into your room with master key unannounced and are extremely nosey. They're like gestapo police. Had me and my wife been making love it would have been unforgivable. I'm going to contact corporate. Then they complained about us having 5 bags of luggage in our room since we stayed for a week. WORST MOTEL 6 ever!! Manager and maids need to be fired. They may be in store for a lawsuit.

It was bs for the pricing of the one bed and no microwave in the 1bed. And since when yall start taxing on a weekday the same pricing as one the weekend.? All that you gotta purchase a 2 bed to have a microwave in the room is Hella out lol 😆 🚮

Never really stay at a motel 6 but never again will I stay here..1) bugs everywhere. You try to fall asleep and you can feel the bugs crawling on you and have to get up to kill them. Can tell they been here awhile they were hug. 2) A/C had it on blast still didn't help. Room was so hot the blankets were sticking to you on all the sweat. 3) didn't feel safe. I don't know if the area or the fact they had their smoke detacters chain to the wall 3 times. Never been to a place that had that. I would not recommend staying here even if it's your last resort better to sleep in your car. I never wrote reviews for anywhere but these place really bother me.

First check in was flawless was able to check in add extension to my stay me and the missus had a nice stay besides some fixture problems. I lost my home recently the girl at the front was extremely difficult and we were close to no shelter for the night. My id expired and I didn't know I had a valid bank card and my gf waited for me to pull out money for the night. So if you got a valid ID and cash on hand you'll get checked in quickly. But if your homeless struggling be prepared for a rude interaction

Yuck! Tiny, dirty rooms, three arrests of guests during my stay. God forbid you make the journey to the ice machine! The bugs... Omg the bugs! I left with mystery bug bites and sprayed everything with bedbug killer when I left. So much daylight coming in around the door. We had to leave the air cranked up all the time. It was quiet in the room as long as no one was above us.

Helpful staff, clean rooms small but usable, easy to get to but a little hard to get in and out. Very close to many food options.

  • 5/5 Allison G. 3 years ago on Google
Super clean. There maybe hobos and hookers all over the streets but the hotel itself seems free of it. Peaceful quiet clean.

Does have FREE ice so that's a big plus 👍👍👍 Rooms are pretty clean, decent. The worst part really is just the riffraff that they rent to (has to do more with the location than the motel itself).

it's a one star hotel. no working ice machine. people hanging out around the hotel all night long. some guy camped out right next to my drives side. The front desk didn't answer from calls. I had to call from my cell phone. I asked for extra towels and blankets. hr brought me one at a time although he knew there were two of us. I tried to get a refund so I could go else where and they would not issue a refund. that was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at and will never stay there again rooms are not clean customer service is awful vagrant and everyone else hanging around the hotel all my long

It was motel6 which I can tolerate a bit shabby due to dog owner. they charged me the $50deposit since I wiped my dogs paws with their towel. I went assigned pet area but whenever coming back from the area dogs paw got tar black. I used my baby wipes and didn't work well so had to wash paws all the time and the black mark was on the towel. I know ruining towel can be upsetting. But they have to clean the outside area better. And not doing that maintenance and charge deposit seems their own policy. I checked in another motel6, their is no deposit at all.

It’s the lowest prices hotel near the UCR Nice interior But you may hear traffic loud at midnight you also need to care homeless near the hotel Therefore, you should renew the wifi code if you stay over 2 nights

The place smelled horrible when I walked in. One of the patrons in the parking lot verbally fought with me and tried to fight. Beds weren't comfortable. Great cable though

  • 2/5 VD Vicious D. 3 years ago on Google
They always have a reason to try to keep some or all of your deposit. Lots of homeless in and around the parking lot a good portion of the time. The cleaning ladies also aren't very courteous either.

  • 1/5 Jordan E. 2 years ago on Google
Was woken up at 6am by a couple screaming outside of my room and then accused of being the one causing the disturbance when I checked out. I was also not refunded all of my deposit with no explanation as to what I was being charged for. Will never stay at this location again.

It's a convenient and affordable place to stay for a quick trip in town. Rooms are reasonably clean and comfortable. Shower walls need an upgrade. Check-in and out was acceptable. Requested a downstairs room but was not given one. Owner blocked off the only 2 parking spaces not designated handicapped near the staircase was kind of rude about it. Overall a decent experience.

  • 2/5 Lisa G. 2 years ago on Google
Decent, my room was actually clean, but the AC smelled really moldy. However, the motel actually didn’t have wifi during my stay, which I am extremely unhappy about.

  • 4/5 steven a. 2 years ago on Google
I stayed for one night only. They’re remodeling in the lobby and they had construction workers, which basically blocked most of the parking. It wasn’t a problem for me cause I Ubered, probably for others. My room was decent, had a table and chair, and mini-bar, no microwave. There is a $50 deposit, they took cash or card. I did cash, which I got back when I checked out. Close to a Dennys, iHop, gas, and little mini shopping center. My stay wasn’t bad.
