This is a rare find and special place. Jim wrote a weight loss book that my Wife loves. We have both been going to see Dr. Barb for Naprapath treatments for several years. After a rather bad break of my clavicle in 2020, I knew she would be able to help me get back to normal. To be honest, I've not taken very good care of my body for a long time. All those mountain bike crashes when I was younger, I just toughed it out. Maybe that was hardly walk for a week or just try not to use that arm for a while was not and is not a good plan. Now at 50+ I'm feeling the negative effects of not addressing the issue when it happened. Fortunately Dr. Barb has an amazing grasp of the skeletal system and all of the soft tissue. She has relieved a lot of my pain, plain and simple. Her treatments are simply amazing, really something you have to experience for yourself. During these trying times of COVID-19, you will feel very comfortable here, this place is doing things the right way. I highly recommend Kuma Health and Wellness.

Kuma Health and Wellness is THE place to go in the western suburbs for massage therapy. Jim is the best masseuse I have ever had! Kuma provides many excellent services including naprapath, chiropractic care, acupuncture, pranic healing, and much more. Best massage I’ve ever had. I came out and I’ve never slept better. I’ve had massages all over the world and they are hands down the best. It not fancy but it just fine with me. The worst massage I’ve ever had was in a five star hotel. You can’t judge on aesthetics. Personally, I’m in a dark warm room with my eyes closed who cares? It’s clean, smells wonderful and the people there treat you like family. My masseuse took great time and really listened to my issues. Then gave me options for treatment for those areas. AND none of that conversation cut into my time. My biggest issue are places that eat up your time for changing and a consult. Not here. They really want you to have an excellent personal experience. Very first place I’ve ever gone back to more than three times!! It’s an excellent value for a high end massage. You won’t be disappointed!!

Highly recommended. Everyone is very friendly, and the place is clean. It is welcoming but not pretentious. Arnesia is amazing for a deep tissue massage. She listened to what we talked about during the consultation at the beginning of the session, and she addressed the areas I needed most. I will be returning.

If you want a good massage go to Kuma Health and Wellness. I have been suffering from back problems for 20 years. The massage in combination with chiropractic care fixed my back. I will definitely start going regularly to Kuma Health and Wellness.

For Father’s Day I had made an appointment for my dad. The staff was informative and so sweet when helping me get it set up. My father stated that the day of service was great and the staff, again, friendly, knowledgeable, and a good experience for his massage. Prices are reasonable and we’ll worth it. Although they have limited hours, I highly recommend if you live in the area.

Kuma is an awesome place run by amazing people. Dr. Barb is an excellent Napropath who has been able to resolve issues that years of physical therapists and chiropractors only made worse. Mimi does massage and knows more about the body and how it behaves to different massage techniques than all of my previous massage therapists combined. These ladies are experts in their field and provide a level of care not found in most places. Whether you just need a relaxing massage or have bigger aches and pains that need attention, Kuma is the place to go!

I've struggled with chronic pain for years- pain that has led to anxiety, poor sleep, fatigue, etc. . My first session was 1.5 Hours deep tissue with Yaunay and not only did she find every single pain area and trigger point, but she informed me of everything she was doing and why/where the pain was rooted from and connecting through. For the first time, I felt like I found the light at the end of the tunnel and a great team of experts! She also helped me determine a realistic treatment schedule to best tackle the current pain and issue areas as well as a lead out maintenance game plan. Although it's a long road for what will feel "normal" again, I feel I have finally found my "place" and I look forward to my appointments and the knowledge, care and relief that Kuma Health & Wellness stands for and delivers! They are the BEST! HIGHLY recommended.
