Your Camiguin experience won’t be complete without including White Island in your itinerary. Personally, I prefer going there before 5am to witness the beauty of the sunrise. The people there are very friendly. You can rent snorkeling gears at a very affordable price. The bangka ride from the main island to White Island is about 10 minutes. Sunblock is recommended since the island is very bare, there are no trees or cottages there to cover you from the sun. You can enjoy snorkeling there but watch out for sea urchins when going to some certain areas.

Lovely white island! I'm totally in love with it. Fine white sand and clear crystal-like sea. Best to be visited early morning for sunrise and during sunset (I'm not sure if they allow till sunset). We visited the site at around 10am and the sun was scorching hot! Later on, the weather changed like crazy. We left the site as advised by the boat operator for us to avoid big waves and yes, we were soaking wet as we travelled back to the seaside.

W hite Island, located just a 10-minute boat ride off the coast of Camiguin, is an idyllic escape for those seeking tranquility and unspoiled beauty. This pristine beach is a hidden gem, notable for its seclusion and lack of crowds. The highlight of our visit was the unique opportunity to try fresh sea urchin, sourced directly from the ocean – a true testament to the untouched nature of the environment.

Im giving it a 4 stars due to excessive and unnecessary fees. 550php for 4 people on a boat ride to the island. entrance fee of 50php/person. the water is clear and clean. it's an okay spot to snorkel. there's a ton of small fishes. saw some big shrimps. tons of sea urchins, so never go barefoot. there's no shade but they offer an umbrella for 200php.

Beautiful island! A must-visit in Camiguin. Love the splendid view of the mountains of Camiguin and definitely enjoyed the clean and crystal clear waters!

Best to visit early in the morning! Sea is calmer, lesser tourists and the view is just awesome. Don’t forget to put on sunscreen as there is no shade in the island. Must try their local uni, as fresh as it gets!

Great spot to visit for sunrise or sunset. My only gripe is that the loading dock is not at all well kept - littered with trash and garbage. Expected better from Camiguin authorities since this is one of the top attractions of Camiguin. The boat ride is only 7 minutes so getting to White Island is quite easy. Pro tip: head to Guerrera just a few meters away for a delicious meal before or after your White Island excursion. Pro pro tip: there is a dude selling fresh Uni/sea urchin, which was a unique sunset experience!

This white island reminds me of Bohol’s Virgin Island. White strip of sandy land in the middle of aquamarine water. This can become so crowded so better pick a strategic time and day. Please bring your trash with you at all times to help preserve the place’s integrity.
