This is a classic store, and has been a Riverside staple for decades. The drive-through is a hassle, but you know it's always worth it. There is no indoor seating, and the footprint is smaller than they're building the stores these days. I would say it has gotten better at this location since they opened the other two locations on Van Buren. There is no better burger.

There is comfortable lovely patio. Seating is limited. I could purchase a T shirts as well. Wait time for food was 20 minutes.

In n Out is the Bomb! This so hit the spot but our fur babies love the burgers and fries just as much as you can see here. 5 star service and food. Must make a family night to enjoy.

I honestly don't know what the rave is about. I'm from the Midwest where our pallets are never disappointed. Who goes to a burger joint called In & Out to wait 30 mins in line for a mediocre burger and fried that taste reheated? This review is for ALL In & Outs not just this one. The workers are ALWAYS pleasant it's simply because of the taste. I will never understand the rave for this place.

I get In-N-Out every time that I'm on the west coast but I will never go to this spot again, for fast food we ended up waiting about 30+ minutes. It was so unorganized. The food was good but it cost us way too much time when we had a driving schedule that we were trying to stick to.

This in-n-out has been here forever and it's one of my favorites. I come here all the time either for lunch or after work, and they never miss. The only downside is the tiny drive-thru and parking lot that can cause traffic on indiana due to the long line of cars leading out to the street. There's not much they can do to help that, but the fact that people are willing to wait in that line speaks for itself. Their food is great, it's always cooked well, and their staff is so friendly and seem genuinely happy to work there. Depending on the day I wouldn't recommend going there for lunch unless you have a full hour, but it's always worth the wait.

Fast, hot and delish....pls keep up the good work. They work the drive in line pretty quickly so don't despair with the long lines. Delicious hot messy burgers are worth the wait! MILKSHAKE will rock your world so DO IT!

Good place to enjoy a burger and fries. Wait times could be improved.

The wait wasn't bad, but they got my order wrong. I asked for a double double with lettuce and tomato only and it was given with the thousand island sauce on it. I had to take off what I could, and by that time I just lost my appetite.

I love in n out. First time they've ever messed up my order wanted to go back but the line was too long to wait. With such a high volume I'm sure it happens but I still want my 3x3 and my wife's protein style burger came plain no animal style no extra onions or pickles. nothin

I always love in n out just sucks when you wait in a long line & then get extraaaa burnt crispy fries like potato chips. Kinda ruins the whole meal.

The reason I'm giving it two stars for service is because they need to have better people skills. When you deal with the public it shouldn't come off as I hate my job. I know it's not the company's fault it's the people they hire

Ever since I can remember I was 4 yrs old close to 5 yrs old when I tried my first in-n-out hamburger., and fries., loved it then and still love it now., best time I ever been there so much was in my teen age years 🤣🤪✌️💛🍔🍟🥤I still go there but not as often like my teenage years., different metabolism now.,💛

They messed up both of my meals, so when I went in to gwt them remade, though the customer service was GREAT, very kind people, they ended up charging me for the two drinks that were included with the meals they initially messed up and I'd already paid for, and they forgot my additional fries. I gave up. I didn't go back to get it fixed again, lol. I know people have off days. I'll go back and try again eventually.

So totally average food I cannot for the life of me understand why people wait in such large lines. Overrated burgers. Best thing they got goin is th peppers. Good in a pinch if there isn't a line but most fast food is .

Wow!!! Thank you April!!! world class service! I did lunch for the office here at BMW of Riverside Collision Center. and April absolutely killed it! she took our lunch menu with the individuals names and got it 100% correct with names on each bag when we left. she is a 100% natural at customer service and taking initiative. such a rarity today. I could only hope she is in management there. she is definitely leading the way! Thank you! and have a Merry Christmas!

Our company had the In-N-Out truck come out for the first Friday of the new year and we absolutely loved it! The truck arrived promptly, the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and prepared quickly. But above all, the team members went above and beyond! They were attentive, helpful, and so friendly. It really brightened everyone's Friday to have a great meal and interact with such kind team members. Thank you to truck #612 from the whole team at Cannon Management!

It was super crowded, but I patiently waited while one girl busted her butt getting everybody’s orders all the way down two lines back to back. She was very impressive. I asked for my cheeseburger well done and she said she’ll make sure it’s well well done, and she sure did. It was just perfect and even the bun was a little crunchy, which was so good, they were really crowded but it wasn’t really that long. Even the french fries taste better now. I always thought the french fries tasted a little fishy maybe old oil or something but they tasted really good and fresh. I love In-N-Out thanks for your service and your food.

It's In n Out. The food is always good. The service at this location could not be slower or more surly. This place has a serious problem with their night shift personnel. When I pulled in, there were 3 cars ahead of me. I was there waiting for over 30 minutes. Unacceptable!

It seems the quality of the MEAT has gone downhill - used to be delicious and now has a cardboard texture and less flavor - been quite disappointed over the past year at all In N Outs I’ve tried :-( but the fries still rock!!

Awesome food. 👌 but the parking lot is always full and not from the workers and customers. I think people park their cars there for ride share or etc. They should tow the cars that don't belong there.

Good Was fresh but I asked for my burger well done and it was still pink as usual would of got 5 stars if my burger was still pink

Good food as always but noticed the animal style fries were a bit smaller but still taste great! Can't really call this a complaint cuz America needs to learn to eat less anyways. And the price was reasonable as always.

This was the worst in n out I've ever been to. The food tasted off/old and they just threw our animals fries in the bag. Had spread all on the inside of the bag and on the fry containers themselves.

There are two separate lines for drive-thru and one of the drive-thru Windows is a door that the staff have to walk through when they're going in and out from the other half of the building. I watched staff inside practically run each other over and twist around each other cuz the building is so cramped with how many people there are in it. Getting from the driveway to the drive-thru window was a 25 minute process alone. The food was very good.

Great drive through, great food, this is what being in America is about. Though get your fries 'well done' if you want a really good meal.

The reason for two stars: the line is FOREVER!! Foods decent. Just like every other in n out. Service is SLOW! atmosphere is whatever. Considering there's another in n out nearby, idk what they need to do but the line in both of these need to be shorter

Really good In-N-Out, they took our order with a tablet, and the guy was upbeat and polite despite how slammed the place was.

The In-N-Out on Madison and Indiana in Riverside was the first time I ever had a double double so many years ago. This time I had a 3x3, no fries and a coke...definitely enjoyed it. It's hard to get in and out at times but that's part of the atmosphere, it's an old school In-N-Out. Still the best. I hear In-N-Out is going to start opening back east in the coming years so it's not gonna be just a west coast thing anymore.

  • 5/5 Micki W. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing!!! East coast girl here that absolutely had to try and see if In-N-Out was everything I've heard about. It was so good, animal style all the way.

I haven't been a Californian since 2005. I was looking forward to sharing a cheeseburger cut in half, with grilled onions and one order of fries with my sister. The young man at the window handed me the burger, not cut in half. We asked for it to be cut in half. We each tasted 2 fries, they were cold. I asked him to make sure the cars behind us received warm fries. He smiled at me. I then handed the fries back. Still waiting for 2 t-shirts. He handed us very hot (but our kind of fries) no salt at, still waiting for the 2nd shirt. Very sad process. Hope it was an off day and not the normal service.

Always loved In-n-Out, and always will! Been trying a few things off their "secret menu" lately. Found a great way to make the burger. Get it animal style with a well done bun and chopped chili's. Also love their well done fries. 🤤🤤🤤
