An old style motel, and a very nice one. Clean rooms, always a priority. And thoughtful owners. Thermopolis is worth visit: hot springs (20 minutes free) and buffalo, and the Paintbrush Inn is a great place to stay

The Paintbrush Inn is a great minimalist interior location to stay in the heart of Thermopolis. Great pricing, great service, friendly staff and everything you need. Grocery store across the street and walking distance to downtown. Under new management as of a year ago, they are really investing to improve the place! If you need a place to stay while visiting the hot springs or a local event, you can't go wrong with The Paintbrush Inn. That said, book for long weekends early as they fill up fast for a reason!

Just wanted to take a quick moment to review what a great experience my girlfriend and I had in this town as a whole (absolutely love this town) but also this motel which was not only very affordable but also ran by a wonderful family who clearly cares about making your experience a good one. Comfy beds, great internet and a variety of other creature comforts I don’t typically see while on the road… I’ll definitely be back.

Always prefer family owned hotels, they bring the best value for the price! My favorite part is that it has Smart TV.

What can I say about this place. A++++ in all areas! Mike & Kristen are simply amazing. I called on Wednesday and Kristen said no rooms available but if she had a cancelation she would call. Well on Thursday, she called and someone had canceled. So I got a reservation for Fri & Sat. No problems checking in. Room 22 fit my group amazing. And YES to my 3 little fur babies. 💙 This motel is now our new favorite place while we come to enjoy the hot springs & the fishing. Thank you, for everything Mike &Kristen. (Including the bathtub 🛀) Melissa

The owners of the Paintbrush Inn are fabulous! They were so welcoming even with our late night check in. Everything was clean and I would recommend it as a stay if you are in Thermopolis

Owners stayed up for us, since we came in around 1030p. Thank y'all SO much! They were VERY welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Our room had a divider, so our teenage son was VERY thankful for the "privacy" it provided. Will definitely stay here again, if we're ever in the area!

Got lucky and got a room here when the whole town was booked. Turned out it was very lucky. This is a great little hotel. The owners are super nice and really go out of their way to take care of their guests.

Booked a couple of rooms to take my dad and his buddy fishing early this spring! The rooms are slightly dated but very clean and the new owners are putting in the work to get things updated! Kindest, friendliest staff. We spent most of our stay out and about, but it was a perfect place to come back to after a day of fishing!

The owner is a good guy. Went out of his way to assist us. Highly recommend if you're just looking for a hassel free place to crash for the night.

The owner was a very friendly and helpful gentleman. Gave me a map of where the hot springs pools were and recommendations for places to eat in town. Brought us out towels to use at the pool. Room was quaint and very clean

Me and wife we're we're cold wet bikers We had a 400 mile day and was extremely tired. We pulled into Thermopolis and there was football tryouts so the town was booked full. At the front desk the lady said maybe the paint brush might have one. The lady on the other end of the phone said I have one more room Upon our arrival the owner was so nice and welcoming and that's just what We needed. We even had motorcycle designated parking for our electriglide out side of our window. I'll reserve at the paint brush first next time I head that direction.

Incredible hospitality!! Owners are extremely welcoming, accommodating, and make the extra effort to ensure your stay feels like home. I had the pleasure of staying for over 4 weeks, and won't stay anywhere else in Thermopolis.

Just a nice really clean quiet motel I really enjoyed this tiny gem of a town. The owner recommended the town museum and it was just amazing. Actually all the attractions were great

We have stayed at high end hotels in thermopolis but this is our favorite. Rooms are not fancy. Dated interior, ran by private couple that have a heart of gold. Rooms are very clean. If your looking for fancy dont stay here. But if your looking for great location, amazing service, owners on site, great prices, safe location. This is our number 1.

The Paintbrush Inn is a cute, charming motel located in the equally cute and charming town of Thermopolis. Mike and Kristen are the lovely managers of this place, and from the moment we met them, they made us and our dogs feel at home and welcome there. The room was clean and the décor was charming. We highly recommend staying here, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll be back.

The best! Very friendly and hospitable. It truly is your home away from home. Very clean and affordable. Hand's down the best place to stop in for the night or a week. Some of the nicest people you will meet as well. I highly recommend that you check out this Inn if your traveling through Thermopolis Wyoming. Happy travels! Thank you Kristen & Mike. Great work. Keep it up!

Owner was so nice at check in - even offered us towels if we wanted to check out the hot springs! Location was good - right across the street from a grocery store. Rooms were fine, bed was really comfy and the TV worked well. AC was a little spotty but it was a heat wave while we were there. Carpet was a little sketchy but not too bad. Overall would recommend for the price and we had a great night sleep here.

The four of us stayed there for a night after a visit to Yellowstone national park. We checked in late and left early. The owners were very nice and seemed to be greatly enjoying what they do, which is a good sign. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the couch too and there were enough chairs for all of us. The place even has a sink to clean dishes, cutlery, plates, cups as well as a microwave, a single portable stove top, pots included, and a huge fridge and freezer. There is a small supermarket as well as food locations in walking distance. Highly recommended for short stays and I would imagine longer stays would be very pleasant as well.

Clean, cute, locally owned stay. We loved it. The owner was so kind and helped keep our daughter entertained during check in! We will definitely be back.
