Our server Sarah was super nice and we didn’t have to wait but five minutes to get a table. Just wanted some drinks and apps and she was super attentive and the apps were great. Got loaded pub fries and boneless wings. Breezy Bahama Mama was great!

Wow. This place is truly top notch. Best Applebees in the area. Our server AMALIA was amazing!!! Best server I’ve ever had! Wow!!!!!!!!! Pam the bartender also makes the best drinks. Will be back soon!!!

Had dinner with the family, had the bourbon chicken with shrimp, tasted good but only 4 small shrimps doesn't even look like the picture on the menu. Wife's soup was not even hot, she still ate it. Server was very nice. That was my experience on that day. Still a good place to go.. Had dinner today on Easter day. Service was great. Update : 9/18/2022 Great service and the food was right on.

When I arrived we were Seated in a timely manner. Our waitress took our order. Our food arrived in a timely manner common although she forgot my ranch dressing for my fries. She never came back to check on us when our food arrived to see if we needed anything. We had to wait to pay our bill. I had forgotten that I had a coupon We had to wait to pay our bill. I had forgotten that I had a coupon. When I told our waitress about my coupon, "she stated it's too late she had already cashed us out" and walked away. She didn't say I will check with the manager and see if you can still use this coupon, she just simply walked away. Her attitude was not pleasant.

On Friday evening myself, 3 adults and 9 teenagers came in after a football game. We were split up into three tables because they refused to sit more than 8 together. Our waitress was amazing. Our food was so-so. The treatment of us by management was deplorable. The teens were with parents supervising and they were not loud, obnoxious or disrespectful in anyway. The manager stood by their table giving them the nastiest looks and when they moved a chair to make their 8 top a 9 top she proceeded to yell at them to put it back. I had to get up and ask her what the issue was and why she was hoovering around their table. She was rude and had zero reason other than it was an annoyance having a group of more than 8. I would have understood that had our waitress been struggling but she was wonderful. In all of my years eating in restaurants, I have never experienced such distain for a respectable group of young men before they even sat down. I understand people have off days. I also understand teenagers can be disrespectful. That was NOT the case with these young men. I sincerely hope she takes some time off to refresh her managerial skills. We will not be returning to the Southgate location and I will be reaching out to corporate.

Went to Applebees after shopping all day and I cannot tell you how excellent the services was from start to finish, you have to go in to get the full experience for yourself. Sally is hands down who you want to ask for. Your drinks will never get empty and your mood will improve almost instantly!!!

Great location and staff. Went here Tuesday for the summer special. Kids meals with beverage is $1.99 all day Tuesday. We enjoyed the food, and our special time together ❤. We will definitely be there every Tuesday. Oh try the Brownie Bits .

Talia the bartender is the best. Friendly professional and makes a mean martini. I will be back . Good food better service.

As with any chain food restaurant, your meal will vary depending on the cook. That said me and my eat here once a month and never have major complaints. Friendly staff, fast service, and an enjoyable atmosphere. They have plenty of sorts on while also not being as loud as a sorts bar. A very enjoyable night out with the family or just a loved one.

My husband and I dined at this fine establishment last night (11-11-23). Our server was Jessica. She was kind, professional, and very attentive. We were able to order and be served quickly, the food was delicious and our drinks stayed full. We will definitely be back soon!

We stopped by Applebees and was promptly sat in a booth. The waitress SALLY is very informative, very helpful with choices and the sweetest waitress ever! Such a Vibe and I absolutely loved the food as well! Can’t wait to come back and we hope to have her again!

Came to Applebee's tonight, and our waitress SALLY made the entire experience! She helped me choose my meal and brought my drink quickly and had the biggest smile ever! Loved her service! Can't say enough positive about her and the food was delicious.

Kathleen is awesome. We love that she checks on us and makes our day lighter. Burger cooked perfect, my glass is never empty. Perfect lunch spot.

The service we had was great! Our server Emily, never let a glass become empty and made sure all of our food was good and that we had everything we needed. She was personable and a great conversation. All in all, the food and drinks were great and the service was even better!

Enjoyed our girls night out. Sally was such a great waitress. There should be more like her.

As we sat down, we were greeted promptly by our server Sally. From beginning to end, she was so wonderful! Cracking jokes, gave great suggestions and every time she came to our table or even walked by, she always had such a genuine smile on her face! Drinks never empty and food was excellent! Managers were on the floor and the atmosphere was great! But Sally, was a vibe! We will most certainly be back, and will always ask for "Smiling Sally"

This Applebee's appears to be cleaner than the one I previously went to and more staff. The food was a bit salty or maybe it was just the cheese. I also placed a carry out order at the time I placed my dine in order because the place was busy and I did not want to place it later. I do this often and most seasoned waitresses hold off inputting the carry out order until I am at least served my dine in order. I did not expect the waitress to bring the carry out order at the same time she brought the dine in order. I guess she was young and inexperienced. I still tipped her.

Absolutely furious with our order today. The salads were literally half the size they normally are. The oriental salad is my grandmother’s favorite dish, we’ve had it hundreds of times; I know what it looks like. This is beyond unacceptable to spend $40 on dinner and be hungry afterward. And almost all the chips in our appetizer were broken. It was car side to go so it’s not like a delivery service banged everything around… this was plain laziness and poorly put together. Edit- the car side to go manager called me after seeing my review and offered to remake the order but we’d already eaten additional dinner, so she’s emailing a gift card for future use which was nice of her. Shouldn’t have been needed though.

We just stopped there. We were the first customers of the day. We sat at the bar. We ordered pretty quickly. As we sat there looking around at everything behind the bar, we noticed how dirty everything was. We couldn't stay. We canceled the order and left. The final straw was all of the gnats flying around. If the bar areas is that gross at opening time, then what does the kitchen look like? We let the manager know why we were leaving. She said they were trying to get the bug problem under control. A little bit of regular cleaning might help.

Sarah Buckingham was an amazing server! Recommended a drink that was delicious and helped us fine a meal we loved. Very cheerful and professional! We will definitely be back! :)

honestly the place was clean and the service was awesome, when our server was away another would check on us. The food was cooked very well and fresh to the taste. not only will I be returning but it does not get a negative statement and that's not common

I love coming here every day. The amazing food, such a positive waiter/waitress staff, and tunes kicking really makes this the pace to be! They deserve more than what they are being paid you can tell they really enjoy their jobs.

Applebees in Southgate is amazing! They made sure to accommodate our party size and our server was at our table within 1-2 min of sitting. Drinks tasted great and food was delicious as always!

This is my first time going here. I enjoyed the food. Yum!
