**
NO
AIR
CONDITIONING**
1
star
is
only
because
the
‘standard’
rooms
do
NOT
have
air
conditioning
and
this
is
not
made
clear
on
the
website.
Standard
rooms
are
very
basic
and
in
need
of
updating.
They
have
a
small
portable
fan
and
very
good
black
out
blinds
but
it
just
doesn’t
cut
it
as
you
can’t
sleep
due
heat
in
summer.
They
had
availability
on
some
of
the
days
of
my
stay
for
me
to
upgrade
to
their
superior
rooms
which
are
perfect,
they
have
air-con,
are
modern
and
are
what
I
would
expect
for
the
price.
Unfortunately
as
I
‘upgraded’
to
a
superior
room
for
2
nights
of
my
stay
(superior
rooms
fully
booked
after
that)
at
an
extra
€20
euro
a
night
they
didn’t
then
honour
the
original
Expedia
rate
and
when
I
went
back
to
the
standard
room
for
the
remaining
stay
I
was
charged
a
different
way
more
expensive
rate
(+€100
per
night
on
top
of
original
price-
this
was
not
mentioned
when
I
upgraded).
Positives
-
the
superior
rooms
are
fine
for
a
short
stay,
the
staff
are
really
nice,
breakfast
is
ok
for
a
short
stay
and
the
surrounding
area
and
Forrest
is
beautiful
and
great
for
a
walk/run.
The
university
town
is
new
and
lacks
character
compared
to
Brussels
but
has
ample
restaurants
and
bars
and
only
a
short
5-10
min
walk.
If
they
updated
the
rooms
and
were
clear
there
was
no
aircon
I
would
have
booked
a
superior
room
and
had
a
much
more
pleasant
stay.
