Felling a little home sick so decided on a curry. Unfortunately all the food here seem the same as i can by in uk supermarkets, nothing like a curry from back home. Even the poppadoms seem like the pre packed ones. Though it all looked nice. I wouldn’t go again.

BE AWARE!!! In the beginning they give me a cocktail that I did not order but I thought it was a treat from the restaurant, since no one asks me if I want it or not. At the end the client has to pay 7.5 euro for this. Food was not the typical spicy Indian, it was less tasty but overall ok

Very nice food! Only one improvement point : the portion size could be bigger

The food was nice especially the better chicken and rice, the chef was great and helping us when we chose from the menu, very friendly staff and helpful.

Great indian dishes, very tasty food, service however was slow. We got the menu for 4 people which included a variety of appetizers and main dishes. The vodka mango ice cream was after the appetizers. Appetizers took around 30 minutes to arrive, appetizer ankther 20 and main dishes another 45 on top of that. We were really hungry and not prepared for the dinner to take 3 hrs. Staff, however, were friendly and good hosts

This might be the best indian food I’ve ever had. Their Scampi Biryani and Garlic Naan is some of the best out there.

Best Indian food in all of Belgium! Discovered this gem during my travels through Europe and cannot wait to get back and enjoy it some more!

The food is always good at Ashok's - but could be even spicier

The most consistent Indian restaurant I've ever attended. Great food quality, authentic and an amazing staff. Staff also speaks multiple languages. Restaurant also has is own parking.

Ideal location, excellent ambience, courteous staff, very delicious cuisine.

When it became busier the service became a bit slower, but the food was super delicous! I'd definetly recommend!! The people here speak english well and this restaurant is vegan friendly!!

This was our first experience with Indian cuisine and it did not disappoint. So, so good! Our waitress was pretty awesome too. Great experience. Can't wait to go back.

Pros: - Delicious food - Friendly staff (one English-speaker) - Decent location with a small parking lot (additional neighborhood parking around the corner) - Family-friendly - Dim, calming atmosphere Cons: - Took forever to get our main meal (1 hour 20 minutes from the point of ordering, ≈50 minutes after finishing our entree) - Cramped seating - Was seated around a corner, so difficult to contact waiter/waitress - Power went out multiple times during visit

One of my favorite Indian restaurants! We've tried most of the restaurants in the jurbise Belgium area and Ashok restaurant is the one we keep coming back to. I love their dinner because you can try a little bit of everything and its delicious! Its perfect for someone who is trying Indian food for the first time. We were also pleasantly surprised with their dinner service - a menu full of intriguing entrees, the food we ordered was excellent food and my girlfriend says its pretty much spot on for authenticity. The service has always been very attentive whenever we've been there. As for value, entrees are about food but in my opinion well worth it, we've always left full and very satisfied. now so we plan on stopping in over the weekend when we pass jurbise We will come back sure Mr John is one of most kindest person...

With a revamped menu, it is great to see Ashok's back to its old ways, with depth of flavour, and spicey warmth to the taste of the clients. I have been back 3 times recently, and this is the place I take any visitors for a night out. Do not miss out if you enjoy great Indian food

If you are unfamiliar with Indian cuisine, then you will be satisfied. The "heat/chili level" was very mild, even when we asked for very spicy "piquant". Generally, all the dishes should have more garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, fenugreek, cardamom, etc. The exception was a fish dish with a tangy tamarind sauce, which had good flavor. There is a good selection of vegan dishes :-) and both northern and southern cooking styles are represented. Fish from the tandor oven will be dry. That is how it is. I have traveled 2 months in India, north and south. I cook from Indian dishes from scratch. So, I judge from experience. Friendly staff.

A fantastic place to dine. I love Indian food. I ate from here once as a take away, not only did it not disappoint. It exceeded expectations. The saag aloo was beyond what I expected, delicious. Their naan is the best around. And the madras, was perfect. It was so good, I brought my friends tongihgt for dinner and they were very impressed. A wonderful place to dine in, will be coming again soon. The food is excellent, the staff are excellent and the owner is a great guy.
