Updated review, previously 4 stars. This last visit was excellent! Service was great. Super friendly staff. Food tasted fresh and on par with cost vs quality. Give them a try! Calimari was tender and tasty. The gyro meat was tender and juicy. The olive tree trio had a melody of dipping sauces that paired well with each other. The Greek dressing was my only complaint, not quite what I imagined.

I read reviews about places to see or visit but I always make a decision base on my own experience. I have to say this place was wonderful. Food is delicious. Atmosphere is nice and quaint. Server (RACHEL) AMAZING and WONDERFUL. Overall we enjoyed our dinner date. Thank you

This restaurant it’s sooooooooo good !!!!! Food is fresh, delicious and not expensive. Restaurants it’s clean and staff extremely friendly!! And yes they are short staffed because of the pandemic but they are doing a wonderful job!!! Thank you my family really enjoyed our lunch today!!! Notice the bite of the yummy garlic roll…. I couldn’t resist!!! Everyone please support this restaurant it’s a true gem!!!!

I recently went here to try their fettuccine alfredo and it was amazing!!! Definitely my new favorite Italian restaurant. Everyone who worked there was so nice! - The service was great and the food was delicious. 10/10, I recommend 😊

We recently moved to Dallas and I have been on the hunt for amazing Italian food. We arrived and looked at the menu and they also had Greek which my husband loves. This review is on the Italian and let me tell you, AMAZING flavor for 1 and secondly the portions we were large. The staff extremely nice from the front door to your server. Nice intimate space and would make a great date night spot. Extremely pleased to have discovered The Olive Tree.

This place is a hidden gem! I randomly searched for "Italian" in Google Maps and saw this place. Decided to go there with friends. First, the decor. This place looks amazing! Lots of exposed brick, nice artwork. The staff were great, very friendly and patient to someone that didn't know what some of the menu items were. But... The food... It was excellent! Had the flaming cheese, along with a gyro plate. My friends had their Italian offerings, and everything was just perfect! I'll definitely be coming back!

Great food!!! And the service was just as good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND has both Italian and Greek. We had Pizza on our 2nd trip here and the pizza was perfect. Had a little wait time but they moved tables around to get us seated. Thanks to the staff for that.

We were blown away on our first visit to Olive Tree, it's our new favorite Italian/Greek restaurant. We may never go to Olive Garden again. Most everything on menu is made fresh in house, just like Grandma's kitchen. Wonderful hometown casual, classy atmosphere paired with staff that are friendly, funny, and patient. Ask for Cheyenne, one of the best waitresses we've ever met. The fried mozzarella appetizer was gone before I could get a picture. We ordered house salads with homemade house dressing with our entrées: Chicken Parm, Baked Ziti + meatballs, and Spaghetti w/meat sauce + meatballs. For dessert, we got the Tiramisu, which is so yummy, you'll slap your Grandma for not making it that good. I promise you won't regret giving Olive Tree a try.

Let me get straight to the reason of 5 stars: Outstanding service - If mistakes are made, the corrections have been immediate. I always feel like someone is caring about how my food and experience is Great food - Food has consistently been yummy to my tummy. Portions are well-sized and I almost always leave with a to-go box. I can tell you many other great things about Olive Tree but honestly those are just 2 of the main reasons I enjoy this place. They make you feel comfortable and welcome.

I stopped by after work and I loved the food here. The salad and house dressing were very fresh. I had the pasta trio which was also very good. The house rolls are soft, buttery little pillows of deliciousness! I am one who values ambience and the historic building is beautiful! Throw in the music with a little jazz vibe and you have a perfect scenario! The Olive Tree delivered on every level!

My family loved everything about this place! Some menu items we favored were the crab cakes, chicken Marsala, lasagna, chicken and lemon soup, the appetizer that has cheese set on fire(forgot name), and the pizza. Great family atmosphere as well.

I visited the The Olive Tree one Friday evening after work! The service was amazing and efficient. The food was good and well prepared. I recommend!

Been here several times and now it feels the right time topping out how good the kitchen is. Super delicious! Every plate I’ve tried so far has been on point. Not a foodie but I like food and it’s become a go to place when I’m in this area. Keep up the good work. Staff goes the extra mile to make the experience even more pleasant.

My wife and i enjoyed our 28th anniversary dinner here. We had a wonderful meal. The service and the eggplant parmesan with mixed vegetables were great!

The Olive Tree in downtown Hiram, was the perfect place to go when we didn't feel like driving far. Food was so good. Our table got the eggplant parm, the trio and shrimp scampi and everyone loved it. The wait was only 5 min, and the server was very nice and helpful. The food did take a little while longer than it probably should have but it was hot and fresh when it came out. We also got bread and salad to hold us over. Their house italian is the best salad dressing ever! We will definitely be back.

Had a dinner/surprise birthday party for my wife and 25 guests on Saturday December 10 2022. I have nothing but great feedback from all the guests. The experience was memorable, the staff was attentive and management (Martin) was very flexible with last minute changes. Kudos for making the night so special!

Came in for lunch on a Wednesday and had to wait a long time to be seated. Our service with Julia was great, she was very attentive. We ordered the chicken piccata and the Greek salad with gyro meat. The very best things about the entire meal where the gyro meat and the fresh bell peppers on the salad. The salad greens were mostly iceberg, all the dressings were bland, the rolls were bland, and the chicken piccata was just OK. I expected much better for a $30 lunch. If you're going to charge that much, get some decent rolls, some better salad dressing recipes, and some mixed greens for the lettuce.

Came in yesterday after a funeral. Always wanting to try local and something new. We are from Savannah so we have some pretty good food but this was by far some of the best food and service we have ever experienced. Everyone was thoroughly pleased with their dishes. Highly recommend the crab cakes, they were huge and delicious and made just like you would get in Maryland. The waitress, unfortunately I don’t remember her name, was phenomenal. Great recommendations and very personable. Drinks, appetizers, salads, rolls, meals, desserts, and service; all 5 stars. Very reasonably priced for all we had.

I took my wife here for the first time. I think the atmosphere is great and the servers were good. However, the reason for the three stars is that the food was just ok to us. Don't get me wrong, I would recommend trying this restaurant out. Because it was just opening when we got there and things probably were not fully rolling yet. So this was my honest review.

I love the Italian and Greek food at this restaurant! They had vegetarian options and I got to choose the pasta I wanted with my entree. I was surprised that a salad and bread was provided. For my appetizer I had the Spanakopita. It was flaky on the outside and filled with spinach and feta. I had the eggplant parmesan with ziti pasta for my entree. The eggplant was very tasty! It was thinly sliced and was crispy! I was so glad that I had enough for a second meal.

This is a really nice local restaurant, with great food and service, never had a bad experience. Also, the absolute best pizza! Well worth the drive.

I was hungry......food was average....but this is Hiram so expectations are low....prices were very reasonable

Food was great, an awesome mix of Greek and Italian but service was incredibly slow. An overwhelming majority of the dining area was empty and we had a 45 minute wait as well as an hour wait after ordering. The food was great though and I understand the strain put on staff during the pandemic.

I have never left a bad review before, as I’m really laid back and easy to please. But this restaurant just really disappointed me. When I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly host in a classy atmosphere. I was excited, seated, and then (here’s where it goes downhill) “greeted”- if you could call it that - by our server Rachael. She was not friendly at all, did not introduce herself, and was very standoffish. She acted like she just wanted us to order, eat, and leave. As a previous server, I am always super understanding and kind to restaurant staff, however no matter how friendly I was to her she did not put in any effort to be kind. She just did not fit the atmosphere with her unpleasant attitude. I ended up ordering a chicken Marsala, it was almost $17.00 which is kind of high but for a classy fine dine, I will gladly pay that price. However, when the dish came out, the chicken was EXTREMELY chewy. The sauce and the pasta were amazing, but the chicken was just so chewy with fatty pieces that I had to keep spitting pieces out, or trim the chicken before taking a bite. I really wish this could have been a better experience. I will come back again and hopefully have a better server and better dish. I’m sorry to leave this review but I had to with how disappointed I was…
