My friend and I stayed here last week for seven nights. We loved it and can't wait to go back. The location is perfect for all West End and West Bay activities. Everything in West End is easily walkable and you can catch a water taxi to West Bay for $6 pp r/t. The lodge is on Main Street and sits back from the street a little. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with kitchenette with one double bed in the main room and one in the separate bedroom. Everything was super clean. There is a deck at the front of the room with table, chairs and hammock. We were on the second level so it seemed like we were in a tree house. A nice small clean beach is across the street. We saw sunsets from our deck. A restaurant fronts the lodge. All of the staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful. We felt very welcome. They arranged for a 5 gallon bottle of water for the room, airport transfers, and made recommendations for activities all at nominal cost. I highly recommend this quaint, clean, perfect location for your Roatan stay!

We booked a more expensive room on the second floor, pre paid. When we arrived, we were shown to a first floor, less expensive room. No credit or refund was applied with the only option to not loose all our money was to move to another property they also owned for "$5 more a day per person". They also charge $15 a day for A/C but don't tell you that. The safe has a key only, codes didn't work and keys are kept in an unattended drawer. We had ants, gnats and one giant cockroach in our room. The cleaning staff was nice and the restaurant attached was super nice and the drinks well poured. The beach, which is across the street is one of the main bouying areas for dive trips which go and return 2 to 3 times a day. Not very peaceful. All that said, it was the fat cockroach that rolled out of the toilet paper roll, landing on my arm in the middle of the night that did me in. Any couple of these things are part of travel, all put together was too much.

My stay here has been delightful, this small hotel is located on the beach in West End, and the team here have been fantastic. My room was clean and spacious and I had a great view from the huge balcony with a hammock. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I woke up to sea views and the sounds of waves in the morning. Close to stores, restaurants and awesome yoga next door at Sundowners every morning at 9:00am. I hope I get to come back soon āļø

Terrible Costumer Service. I couldn't make it the day of my reservation because transportation to the island by ferry was cancelled and I was denied even a partial refund from them knowing thats its busy season and they were definitely able to give that room away to someone else easily. Zero decency.

Great hotel located in West End. Lots of bars and restaurants around the area to enjoy. Superb costumer service :)

We stayed five very enjoyable nights here while visiting RoatĆ”n. Itā€™s very affordable, while still giving you basically everything you need. Housekeeping came daily to replenish towels and replace bedsheets. Beds were comfortable, but if youā€™re coming from the states donā€™t expect a Marriott or Hilton style bedding. Next door is a grocery store (thatā€™s where we got a few gallons of water for our stay, each was maybe $1.50) and a few restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The beach is literally right outside the hotel, and lounge chairs/umbrellas were almost always available for us to use for free. The hotel has kayaks you can use complimentary too. Area quiets down by 10pm, my one complaint would be the dogs barking most of the night but thatā€™s not the hotels fault.

Ewww! Thereā€™s black mold all over the mattress and ceiling, the woman working the front desk is super rude, and this is apparently a BYOT (bring your own towel) situation. This is worse than a $3/night hostel and I would never return or recommend.

Location. Location. Location. I'm a big fan of this establishment. Spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff, right in front of the beach in West End. Drawbacks: older building. Must fetch your own drinkable water daily. Some rooms have more stairs to climb than others.

The hotel is great for thr price. Did not like the AC was extra but it was worth it. The location is the best part. Right across the street from the beach, and down the road from the night/day life. Everything within walking distance. 4 starts because of the extra charge for AC and no TV in the rooms.

My stay at Hotel Posada Arco Iris was exceptionally memorable thanks to the presence of two adorable twin cats who added a unique and homely charm. The hotelā€™s celebration of these feline companions highlights their commitment to harmony with nature and animal welfare. Their friendly antics not only enhanced my experience but also set Hotel Posada Arco Iris apart as a caring and welcoming establishment.

Room was excellent in LARGE size, comfort and cleanliness. Service/house keeping was excellent. My room only seemed to lack a couple of chairs/seats and dresser for our clothes. Had to use suitcase as cloth storage for a week. Loved outdoor patio in shade. Most of the hotel was covered by trees and vines which kept the place cool during daily hot afternoons. Walk across street and you were on beach. Hotel was on edge to of West End. Only 1 to 2 min walk to Town to eat and shop. Hotel is very quiet and clean due to being just on edge of west wend. I would definitely stay there again, just upgrade room to have mini kitchen is worth it.

Iā€™ve been here for one night, still have a week to go and I can say this is an amazing hotel! Right in the beach, but tucked back in amazing foliage, the rooms are extremely comfortable and itā€™s literally in walking distance if everything youā€™ll need. Make this the place to stay next time you come to Roatan!

Keys went missing on the shuttle ride from the airport, 65 HNL gone from hotel safe, housekeeping ransacks room each day. The office does not care.

Stunning, well maintained grounds welcome you in to spacious, clean, and we'll equipped rooms. You'll feel like you're in the middle of the jungle, on the coast, with a rustic and welcomed twist. Don't let the simple room decore fool you; this place is a gem. The incredible, accommodating staff clearly care about their guests. The exceptionally friendly cats - love you, Marcos - will make your stay just like a home away from home. Here you're at the heart of everything West End has to offer, but also separated in your own blissful garden. Posada Arco Iris is a dream you'll be sad to wake from.

You basically stay in mini-jangle. Sooooo much mosquitoes and other bugs bit meā€¦ I wanted to stay on the hummock, but countless bug bites scared me after a few days stayā€¦ Staff is nice and free mangos from mango tree were delicious. But I canā€™t come back because of bug bitsā€¦

Lovely place to stay. My daughter Sarah and I came in April. Was relaxing, calm and quiet. Easy to go places and to get to beach. Best ever night snorkeling.

šŸ«¤ First what we didn't like:, I want to start by saying we are all American couple with no kids, other people may have a different experience. But, for us, it was too loud, too crowded, too chaotic. Loud pulsing music in the dining room, crowded pools with children throwing things are just not what...
