As a solo female traveler; I read the previous reviews for this property. Setting the expectation level; (bring your own beach towel) I booked the hotel thru the AAdvantage hotels site (also reassuring me that this was a partnered hotel). The staff were polite, friendly and accommodating. I asked for an oceanfront view on site- GRANTED! The rooms and restaurant were clean. The a/c worked great. The never ending sunset while I rocked in a hammock was better than I could have dreamed. I dove 3x/ day (with the dive shop 5min walk next door) Massages/Spa out the front gate with generous specials. The free breakfast is “free” and local. The restaurant menu selection is reasonable, varied and tasty. I enjoyed the ambient beach vacation music and clean well kept pool area and grounds. I will definitely be coming back.

I loved this place. After a week of nightlife and fun, I really needed a nice peaceful place to stay. The views are amazing right next to the ocean. The staff are excellent and rooms are very clean and beautifully designed in an antique wood style. Food is great too. Only, 5 minute walk to West End for restaurants, bars and beach. Highly recommend. Everyone was exceptionally warm and welcoming! Ali

We were looking for a quiet, clean place to stay at a reasonable price in the West End. Lands End lived up to these expectations. Lands End is a ten minute walk from Half Moon Beach and all the good restaurants the West End offers. It is far enough away from the evening action if you are not a party hound. Splurge on an ocean front room - we thoroughly enjoyed the hammock, the surf and the sunsets, The resort provides a basic breakfast, bar and food service until 8pm, and a saltwater pool (cleaned weekly). Staff was friendly; Dania can take care of tour plans and airport transportation if needed. Lands End is NOT a 5 star resort (it does not pretend to be). We give a five star rating, because it is an excellent budget choice. We stayed for 2 weeks and recommend room 6 if you don't mind 2 flights of stairs.

Tanya checked us in for a last minute reservation and was happy and friendly! Our room was spacious and clean and the AC cooled us down quickly. The set up was atypical for a hotel, but that’s fine by us and there was an attached private balcony with a hammock. The pool is a salt water pool pumped in from the ocean which is super sustainable and has an amazing view! The patio area was so peaceful, you feel like you are at the end of the land bc you are, plus there are stairs to the ocean, not a beach, with crystal clear water. Listening to the waves crash on the limestone formations is a sound that cannot be recreated, sorry sound machines you got nothing on this place. Our service was super helpful and we plan to visit again for a longer stay in the future!

My family was here for an emergency trip to lay my dad to rest. My cousin knew about this hotel. The location was great, nice, and quiet, and down the street from restaurants and night life. The rooms was good depending on which room option you select. I truly enjoyed my 1st room the ocean view with the balcony. I wasn't a big fan of my 2nd room the Bungalow. The staff made special accommodations for us b/c we didn't have a reservation, so I didn't complain. I was very grateful. The breakfast was alright no variety andam a bacon girl. I loved the coffee very strong the way i liked it. We didn't eat lunch or dinner there. We went off the property for that. The entertainment and other dining needs were close by. The property manager and staff were very attentive.

We are having a wonderful time here at Lands End Nice & relaxing with super nice people. Easy access to snorkel right out front & a nice swimming pool with a kicked back place to lounge around. Last night the chef cooked our fish we caught & it was absolutely yummy. Thank you Lands End

Great inexpensive place to stay. It is NOT a 5 star hotel, but Danya, Carla, Nayibe, and Marissa (maybe some others) do a great job at making sure you are comfortable and have everything you need

Lands End provided airport pickup service. Smooth check in process. Quiet room and breathtaking view. Lands End is steps away from world renowned snorkeling and scuba sites. 1/2 mile or less walk from everything you need (food, drink, souvenirs, excursions, etc) The friendly people and amazing natural beauty of Roatan have catapulted Lands End to the top of my travel destination favorites.

We really liked the place. I am giving it 5 x stars as the people were insanely helpful, the food was fantastic, and the views and location can not be beat. It is a very solid 3 x Star property and I will be going back based on the very positive experience here. You have to understand the culture in Honduras and that the expectations for this country are much different than North America.

Review is only on the restaurant. Food was great but it took over 90 minutes to get dinner. Several people are working, but for some reason, no one bothered to help the bartender serve. I'm all for a slow pace while on island time but we were the only group in the place and it took forever. When the food started coming it took fifteen minutes to get everyone their food. Then the calamari came out after we had all finished eating, we ordered it as an appetizer. If you do try it be ready to wait. Unfortunately we won't be back. There are many other options on West Bay that provide much better service with food that is just as good if not much better.

Great hotel right on the beach. Has steps into the ocean to facilitate snorkeling. Has a very nice pool. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Great bar overlooking pool and ocean. Just minutes to walk to dive shops, restaurants and town.

I would say Everything was great! The only comment comes in the form of price, you are paying much higher prices because it is Roatan! The prices could be less, it is not like they don't have demand. I missed my ferry to Utila because of immigration. Which has never happened before. It cost me overall an additional $400.00 USD when said and done. Would I stay again yes at a better rate , yet it was my only choice. That is called gouging in all sense of terms.

The location is nice, but it was the worst night of my life in a hotel and I’m a flight attendant so i’ve seen all sorts of them but the bed was damp, ants were crawling over both the beds and cockroaches as well. The towels and bedding had holes in them. I didnt sleep one bit and got the hell out of there as soon as the sun got up.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Dania was so attentive and helpful with everything and the resort was very clean with gorgeous views on the water. The only thing I had an issue with was the wifi as the connection wasn’t as strong in my room so I had to work from the restaurant/bar area which wasn’t bad as the view was gorgeous and work didn’t feel like work. The connection wasn’t strong enough for video calls (even off camera) but I was able to do pretty much everything else I needed to. Overall amazing experience as the resort is a bit isolated but still walkable from all the fun that the West End has to offer.

🫤 First what we didn't like:, I want to start by saying we are all American couple with no kids, other people may have a different experience. But, for us, it was too loud, too crowded, too chaotic. Loud pulsing music in the dining room, crowded pools with children throwing things are just not what...
