👍👍 The Garlic Grouper was great. I'll be going back next time I'm in the area.

Delicious as always! It is now called Port Side ... now run by Bertie's nephew Frankie. Don't miss real Roatan local food here! The waitresses are are excellent as well!

It took my brother and I a bit to find this place, but I'm so glad we did. I added it to Google to give others the pleasure of enjoying the delicious cuisine. The restaurant itself is down the pier, but you can see the sign for it across the street from Teledisa Canal 9. Don't come here if you are looking for a quick bite. This is not ready-made food. Every dish is cooked once ordered, but it's well worth the wait. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp! I'm mad for being impatient and not finding it sooner, so we could have had more than one meal there. You can hear the soothing sounds of the ocean lapping at the shore while enjoying a beer or 3 while your delicious meal is being prepared. Once again, disclaimer: If you don't have the patience to wait for truly delicious and freshly prepared island cooking then look elsewhere. Otherwise, your patience will be richly rewarded once your food arrives. Disfrutalo mucho!!

Had the garlic Grouper. Was delicious. Also it's no longer called Berties. It's now the Port Side restaurant. Berties nephew I believe.

Yummy!! I was so mad i didn't take pictures. We had crab, lobster and grouper. Best food we ate on the island perfect amount of spice and flavor . Great service. I highly recommend this restaurant. You get so much for your dollar here. Excellent selection for everyone. Next to pier by cruise ships. We saw a lot of locals eating so we were excited. But fantastic food.

I was coaxed by a very sweet old man to go here and try the iguana. I was not disappointed. Finger licking good!

Food is good if not 100% hygienic and it's cheaper than Mexico. But takes too long to get it

This place no longer exists. Went looking for it- for HOURS. I’m staying in the neighborhood- right down the street from this location. Local business owners say it’s been closed for a while now- not long after the owner passed away

👍👍 Not just chocolate! They now do breakfast... and lunchtime Indian Food specials at great prices (might have bought the entire Indian Food menu to take home on the ferry to Utila -- was not disappointed, will do it again). Many reasons to stop by. Conveniently located on the main strip in West End...

👍 Restaurant is right on the beach. It also has a view of the beach and a grocery store on the lower level. The food was ok. The rice and chicken could have used a little more seasoning.
