Our apartment for our family of 4 was spacious and clean with good AC. The location is great and it is well organized and well run. Cynthia picked us up from the airport and helped us organize our adventures. Bean Crazy is fantastic. Staff is friendly and the baked goods are great! I highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Great hotel with a great location. You are across the street from the beach and they will set up beach chairs for you (no umbrellas). They offer breakfast at the coffee place next door. Rooms were great and AC strong. It took a second for the hot water to come on in the shower and the workers that show up at 5am love to have conversations outside which can be disruptive. I woke up early so it did not bother me. Reception desk is great - though they have odd hours so it might be good to get someone’s contact info to ask questions. Like the internet went down for a day and there was no one to ask until the following afternoon (I did an AM excursion). For the price really recommend!

I recently traveled to Roatán on business and stayed at Mr Toucan’s in west end. I typically stay in west bay to avoid all of the hustle and bustle of west end, but needed to be close a few businesses in west end. Yes west end was still busy, but Mr Toucan’s was my sanctuary from it all. The door to the hotel has a security guard and a locked entrance keeping unwanted guests out. The room was very clean and had everything to make my stay comfortable. There was a courtyard area on the second floor for people to gather and relax. And oh my, the breakfast was incredible! I’d definitely recommend staying here if you need to be in west end!

Have absolutely LOVED our stay here for our family of 4. We rented two rooms and both have been perfect. The entire staff is wonderful. Bean Crazy has amazing food, coffee and service. Already planning our next visit.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean, a/c, comfortable beds, free coffee and breakfast menu daily, Covid test was easy and convenient, & we were connected to our great taxi driver Tino. The only small complaint is that the shower water was room temp…but we figured that was the norm on the island and did not complain. Big thanks to Wendy & David for taking care of us during our stay.

Amazing People Amazing Service, clean and accessible to the beach. The best coffee @ Bean Crazy and they have a GREAT Lunch Menu. Again I say they have amazing customer service, Cindy, Cynthia, Eber and everyone that was at the hotel just gave us the best experience we could have asked for. WE MISSED THEM AS SOON AS WE LEFT!

Great access and food, rooms are big and clean, they provided everything we needed and a bit more, it's right in front of a beach and walking distance of everything in west end.

Everything was perfect for the reasonable price I paid for my stay. All the staff members went above and Beyond including the owner which I met. Wendy is amazing she helped me upgrade to ocean view via what’s app. Cynthia waited 2hrs at the airport for us due to delays. The. Hotel has an amazing coffee shop downstairs with amazing breakfast and food. Beach is right across the street and beach chairs are provided. To top it off I forgot my bracelet in the room safe and the staff was kind of enough to call me and send somebody to drop it off for me at the airport! Just amazing people all around. No complaints!. Highly recommend.

Everyone at Mr. Tucan is amazing and the location is perfect. When you stay there you get daily breakfast at Bean Coffee which is located directly next to the hotel office. Our room was clean and quiet. Full size refrigerator and stove/microwave. You can snorkel right from the beach in front of Mr. Tucan and it is one of the BEST snorkeling spots! I highly recommend Mr. Tucan!!

I really liked this place. I can be a bit of a pain in the a** when it comes to where I'm staying because of cleanliness. But this place is very clean. They have comfortable beds. Nice staff and breakfast is included. The location is great as far as many restaurants and bars within walking distance. There are shops all over west end close to here. The one thing I will say is that the beach across the street has a lot of sandfleas. I wasn't really able to enjoy sitting out there without getting bitten up. You have to constantly reapply bug repellent. Just an FYI.

The room was quite nice and cozy. There is a decent beach directly across the street, the coffee shop for morning breakfast that's included is very good. The A/C works too good.

Rooms are very well condition and in a very secure area. This a very good place to stay and everything is within walking distance

Overall stay was fine. However, the ocean view apartment we stayed in was removed from the rest of the building and toward the back of the property. If we wanted access to the rooftop lounge area we had to traverse down 2 flights of stairs, to the other side of the property, then up another flight of stairs. Not exactly convenient for just relaxing on the rooftop lounge area with a drink. The apartment had a narrow porch on with a view of the sea, but no furniture nor hammocks for just relaxing on the porch. The kitchen in the apartment had little in the way of dishes for dining. There also seem to be dogs on either side of the property that bark at all hours. We had no problem connecting to the router in the apartment, but the router had lost it's login password for the internet access, so we had limited internet access. We would likely try Mr. Tucan again, but not the apartment.
