Derol
who
was
extremely
helpful
and
courteous.
He
was
the
only
positive
about
West
Bay
Colonial.
We
did
not
have
a
fridge
in
our
room,
even
when
we
asked
for
one.
This
was
necessary
due
to
medicine.
Also,
there
was
very
minimal
water
pressure,
and
NO
hot
water.
The
beds
rolled
all
over
since
they
were
on
wheels
and
would
not
stay
in
one
spot.
The
beds
were
also
very
hard,
and
the
pillows
were
terrible
(one
of
my
pillows
was
chunks
of
stuffing,
with
literal
gaps
between
chunks-so,
not
a
pillow).
There
was
no
safe
in
the
room
(come
on!
We
are
in
Honduras?
Isn't
this
like
a
standard
world
wide?).
The
wifi
barely
worked.
We
stayed
with
a
large
group
renting
out
must
of
the
hotel.
So
I
know
that
most
of
us
did
not
have
hot
water.
We
spoke
with
the
owner
and
maintenance
for
three
days
in
a
room
and
were
assured
they
fixed
the
hot
water.
It
was
never
fixed.
And
they
would
not
swap
us
rooms
for
one
with
hot
water.
We
tried
to
cancel
our
reservation
(as
we
had
booked
extra
days
here)
and
that
was
a
joke.
All
disputes
were
denied.
Had
we
had
reasonable
accommodations,
it
would
have
been
fine.
But
we
must
certainly
did
not.
The
owner
is
looking
to
sale
the
hotel,
so
I
get
that
he
doesn't
want
to
put
more
money
into
it,
but
come
on.
While
Paolo
(the
owner)
was
nice,
and
did
give
us
rides
to
West
End,
I
was
very
disappointed
with
the
hotel
and
our
request
to
cancel
our
reservation
was
handled.
