Right on the water! Only had dinner, so no room review. Dinner was very good, but slow service. New owner, and they're getting things sorted.

Blue Bahia Resort well surpassed our expectations on our first dive trip outside of the United States. Owners, Josh and Kim were extraordinary hosts and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and our stay was unforgettable. The adorable unit we rented, "The Wave" was not missing a single detail. From kitchen items necessary to cook, plenty of space for my son and I, wonderful beachy decor, restaurant with excellent food on site as well as the dive shop. There is a lovely pool and the beautiful calm ocean is steps way. Transportation and excursions can always be arranged if needed even just for quick trips to the store. Josh and Kim have really thought through every detail, not to mention they are super sweet people. Their staff is just as great as they are. I definitely will be returning and would highly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Fabulous dinner! We came back three times! The lobster special on Wednesdays is exceptional for $17. They have a happy hour with great drinks of all sorts for $4 or less. We shared a 2lb snapper dinner that was also delicious! Great people, lovely servers and great food! Love it here!

I want to be greedy and keep this gem to myself but alas I cannot! Josh, Kim and family were outstanding hosts! The staff is incredibly nice and attentive. The location is quite convenient and we had amazing sunsets! Sandy Bay Divers is also right on site and amazing!

Quiet, Peaceful, tranquil, clean, safe, responsive management. Family owned and managed. Outstanding dive shop on property, reef and deep wrecks are less than 5 to 10 min boat ride. Mgr Becca helped arrange Zipline, 4weelers, adventure tour, perfect concierge. Very clean rooms. Tatiana is their message therapist, very good. Truly 5 stars!

Went here for an early dinner tonight and absolutely loved it!! Jerk fish sandwich was unbelievably fresh ,I can't wait to eat here again.

Great atmosphere and fantastic food. They've got movie nights, live music nights, ping pong and more.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Island Loft. It was very comfortable and clean. Even though we utilized the restaurant and did not cook, the kitchen was very well equipped. We so appreciated that housekeeping worked so hard to have it ready for us early. Loved the personal touch and communication prior to arrival was excellent. Having the restaurant and dive shop on site was super convenient. West End was a short taxi ride away. Thanks for a great stay.

We came to Blue Bahia on a recommendation from our driver, Libby, to watch the Buffalo Bills game while in Roatan, and we fell in love with the resort! It was immediately evident that the management and staff truly take pride in making you feel like family! Guests staying there were greeted by staff and were all on a first name basis. One of the managers, Adam, even toured us in a few of the vacant units so we could see what they offered, as we were already staying at a different resort. The units were full of character and well maintained. The food and drinks at the restaurant were priced right and everything was delicious! We look forward to booking our future Roatan stays at Blue Bahia!

Had dinner with friends here. The service was great and the prices are very reasonable. Bring your own fresh fish and for usd10.00, they'll cook them with two sides.

This resort was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The owners, managers, and all staff were outstanding. We unfortunately were not able to dive as we had intended, but we stayed busy with local activities. Easy to get around to the rest of the island without the crowds of vendors.

I only went to the restaurant and would not recommend. I had high hopes because the place looks nice and the diving was great, but the food was not. It was wildly over-priced compared with other restaurants near by. I paid 20$ for 2 beers and a veggie burger and the veggie burger was advertised as a veggie patty, but actually came out as broccoli and cauliflower on a bun. There are many other options with better prices in terms of restaurants. This was Blue Bahia attached to Sandy Bay Divers. Please correct me if I was at a different location.The menu said ‘veggie patty’ but that is not what was served. It was vegetables on a bun. The total bill was 20$ for the sandwich and 2 beers.

Although we never actually stayed at the resort. We rented a home just down the beach. This was our go-to all week long. At least a visit nightly! The food was on point. The staff is amazing, friendly and accommodating. The owners Josh and Kim and they're wonderful family were super accepting, even though we were not staying on the resort itself. And top of it we changed our original dinner reservations for my 50th birthday. The resort down the road that we thought was going to be an epic meal and environment. Turned out to be disappointing and we left before we even got a menu. The staff was not accommodating. Kim, Josh and their family as well as all the employees made my 50th birthday an amazing experience that I will never forget. Thank you so much! Blue Bahia family. You'll see us again!

Extremely happy with our experience. Bungalows are clean and spacious. Family run business with top tier staff are very helpful and made us feel welcome and appreciated. The ocean views and food are fantastic. 100% would have stay again.

What an absolutely amazing experience, if you are thinking about visiting Honduras this should be the 1 and only place you book to rest your head during your stay, great staff who are knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing ownership and a great location.

What an amazing resort! Im not sure I can find the right words that would do justice to the resort, owners and staff. We stayed in Studio Arriba for the week. Check in was easy and we entered a super clean room with the most comfortable beds! The apartment had everything we needed for a long stay. After settling in we went to the dive shop to see Jeff about our diving and snorkel adventures. A lot of firsts for us! Night Snorkel, Night Dive and a Shark Dive! Palmetto Bay for the Shipwreck and Starfish snorkel adventure. Thank you Kristi and John for the invite! Kristi and John, where to begin? A Thank You just doesn’t seem like enough! We’ve made friends for life! Thanks for being there for every silly question, our medical necessities, suggestions on things to do and see, encouraging words for our nerves on our first time adventures and truly treating us like family! Thank you Jeff and crew at the dive shop ❤️ every instructor and boat captain was AMAZING! The comfort we had knowing what a great group of people you have working there is what will bring us back! Who looks up plane tickets to come again before we leave 😁 The restaurant staff, food, drinks, entertainment we are fabulous. Thanks again to all the staff around the resort. This small resort truly feels like home away from home but in paradise. They make your trip so personalized and go above and beyond to welcome you and take care of all your needs. Carlos especially is a rockstar. We had the sunset room and the deck was absolutely fabulous with the best view I've ever had on any vacation. This is the first time I've ever actually wanted to go back to the same resort!

Awesome place to rest, tranquility side of town. Great for family Vacation. It was Amazing 4 days for us. Kimberlee picked us up from airport she is amazing. If you need something Kim and Carlos are on point. Walter at the Grill was spectacular. People and staff here will make you feel right at home.

Our family spent a week at the Blue Bahia Resort in April of 2022 and it was our family’s best vacation ever! Our son said, “I would give it a TEN on a five star ⭐️ review!” We have to agree. From the moment we were picked up at the airport we were completely taken care of. The owners Josh and Kim and their staff Suelma and Carlos make sure that the experience is effortless and wonderfully relaxing. Our room was beautiful, spotless and the kitchen was well equipped which made meal prep easy. We loved the small cozy feel of the resort and enjoyed making friends with other guests. The grounds and pool are meticulous and there always seemed to be someone available and willing to help with any request. The dive shop on site, Sandy Bay Divers, is top notch and made our family dive experience unforgettable. We would wander down each morning 20’ from our room to the dive shop and they would whisk us away to yet another amazing dive site. And once our kids were certified we were able to share the experience together which was truly magical. The best ambassadors for The Blue Bahia are Josh and Kim’s two young sons. They quickly made friends with our children and were wonderfully welcoming. Their oldest son showed our kids where the local candy shop was, how to buy mangos on the beach and even included them on his baseball team! (A huge thank you to Jericho from Brendan!) I am deeply grateful to everyone at the Blue Bahia for an amazing week that we will never forget! Thank you!

Truly wonderful staff made our stay memorable. This intimate and friendly resort has it all right there - very friendly and professional dive shop, great restaurant and awesome bar staff, snorkelling off the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Okay just to be fair I went on Friday to eat the all you can eat fish special. My ratings are only based on that fact! Other than that not sure about rooms or service.

Our room was more like a small apartment than a room. Very modern and clean. I highly recommend getting one of the rooms over the restaurant. The deck is HUGE and has a beautiful view.
