My
name
is
Aron
Baires,
I
live
in
Los
Angeles,
California,
I
work
in
the
Information
and
Technology
department
of
a
big
hospital,
and
for
the
last
seven
years
I
had
the
good
fortune
of
traveling
for
my
yearly
vacations
to
islands
in
the
Caribbean
area.
The
resorts
(all-inclusive)
I
visited
are
beautiful,
but
crowded,
and
after
2
or
3
days
there,
things
begin
to
look
the
same
especially
the
food;
isn’t
that
dull
feeling
we
are
trying
to
get
away
from?
Anyways,
this
year
I
wanted
to
try
something
different
so
no
more
all-inclusive
resorts;
in
my
visit
to
Roatan
Bay
island,
Honduras,
last
year,
a
friend
from
that
island
drove
me
around
and
showed
me
almost
everything
to
see
there.
I
thought
I
was
done
with
that
island.
Early
this
year
talking
to
my
friend
on
the
phone,
he
mentioned
this
new
complex
(7-month-old)
called
Rock
Point
Villas
Sandy
Bay
in
Roatan,
Honduras.
Immediately,
he
connected
me
to
owner
(Jen)
one
amazing
lady.
I
told
her
I
need
especial
accommodations
since
I
am
a
wheelchair
user,
no
problem
she
said,
I
have
the
perfect
place
for
you.
And
the
perfect
place
for
me
place
(villa)
she
had;
“that
was
the
must
luxurious,
comfortable,
and
relaxing
place
I
have
been
and
for
a
fraction
of
the
cost
of
those
all-inclusive
resorts.
By
being
in
a
villa
I
felt
free
to
try
the
local
cruising
whenever
I
wanted
(which
I
really
really
like),
I
went
to
a
local
market
to
get
some
of
their
best
snack
food,
I
even
went
to
visit
other
friends
in
Utila
island
(another
island).
I
never
had
that
freedom
when
I
was
in
an
all-inclusive
resort
because
I
was
always
bounded
to
their
food
schedule
and
menu.
Going
back
to
Jen,
as
a
wheelchair
user
there
is
always
something
that
needs
to
be
arrange
to
accommodate
me;
Jen
always
made
it
happened,
she
spoiled
me
(I
am
yet
to
see
an
all-inclusive
resort
change
something
to
accommodate
me).
One
thing
I
will
never
stop
being
grateful
with
her,
it’s
when
she
took
time
from
her
busy
schedule
to
help
me
resolve
an
issue
with
my
ATM
card
(my
security
Pin
is
6
digits,
ATM’s
in
Roatan
use
only
4
digit
Pin's).
Jen
was
telling
me
about
a
few
improvement
(a
big
swimming
pool,
restaurant,
…)
she
will
do
to
enhance
our
experience
in
Rock
Point
Villas
Sandy
Bay
in
Roatan,
Honduras,
“I
tell
you
what,
after
the
perfect
and
relaxing
time
I
had
in
her
villa,
I
know
where
my
next
vacation
will
be
(Rock
Point
Villas).
I
was
wrong,
I
am
not
done
with
that
island.
