Loved it and the monkeys were awesome. Never tried taking anything, not saying they wouldn't. They have one sloth, and a sweet 2month old monkey. Tons of iguanas, and fresh mangos that are delicious. The baby monkey was so cute trying to go to sleep on you. Lots of walking involved.

This was quite an experience I had no idea about all the insects etc. Of course our guide Katrina was extremely knowledgeable.

This is a great nature preserve. For $5.00 we took a golf cart with driver and toured the whole place. They had monkeys that were the most amusing.

The guides here are wonderful! You get to learn about Honduras and it's wildlife. This tour is fun and hands on! The beach area is really secluded and very nice to relax on. Great excursion on a cruise!

Had a great experience at Gumbalimba Preserve as part of an excursion through Norwegian Cruises. Jackie was a great tour guide! We loved getting up close with the animals and learning more about the island's history. There was a lot of walking, but it was fairly flat aside from a few stairs and small hills. They break it up by stopping at various spots throughout the park. The animals seemed well cared for and treated very well. They are free roaming during the day and only the macaws are caged at night for protection. I would highly recommend this park and tour to anyone visiting the island.

The park was fun. it was a excursion off of a cruise ship and the buses that got us to and from the park were horrible. The park itself was a lot of fun but getting there and back was very uncomfortable. if you had some other means of transportation to get to that park, it might be worth it.

Fun highlight to cruise, some walking but overall very low key and safe for family. Bus is a little squishy and the history intro is a little long, but minor issues. Everyone was friendly and had a great time with monkeys and parrots. Would have preferred quicker intro and more free time, shrug... Bring Bug spray Comfy shoes for walking in woods 1 disposable bottle of water Leave at home Sunscreen, mostly shaded canopy Bags Purses Jewelry, earrings They have fairly strict rules about what you can bring in, better to leave on ship. Not sure I would trust lockers with anything highly valuable.

👍👍 We booked through trip advisor and have zero regrets. This was the high light of all excursions! Just one note, being some extra cash as everyone expects tips. They are not required but we felt inclined because everyone was so great at what they did! Our guide Jerry was the best!
