Like it's name says, it's hidden but not difficult to find and when you do it you won't be disappointed. Good coffee and great food. Super chill and small place, with a really nice vibe. It feels like been at home.

Yummy, thanks to Cafe Escondido for the delicious lunches and nice & smiling staff. The daily diver's special is great, as well as the teriyaki bowl and veggie pita. Everything we tried was delicious and vegetarians options are available. And you must have the homemade cookie & ice cream sandwich. We had one everyday until we had to head back home. A real treat! Staff and customers of a nearby diveshop are now addicted as well!!! Looking forward to go back ASAP!

we practically lived here when we visited as we dove with west end divers just below. food is fantastic (hard to pick a favorite) and the non alcoholic drinks were even better! wait staff was super great and accommodating (they always made sure to have our food out on time whenever we were between dives) and overall it was always so lovely to eat here! would highly recommend checking it out

Café Escondido is easy to miss. There is only the door with a sign that takes you to 2nd floor above a dive shop. But it is well-worth visiting. They only open from 8 AM to 2 PM. Very good coffee and tasty breakfasts. Lunch is an eclectic mix of sandwiches and a variety of sandwiches, salads and main dishes. The front and side windows are open to the ocean and the West Bay main street, good for people watching. Board games are available. One of my favorite places in Roatán.

Food was very tasty. Priced average between 15-29 USD. I had the teo lobdyer tails. They were delicious, small tails but the flavor was on point. Seems like the pizza there is a hit. We didnt have any but just bty mere observation.

We had a good and inexpensive breakfast at Cafe Escondido. Good iced coffee and my French Toast was yummy. Hubby’s breakfast burrito was delicious as well. Nice views of the water. We went early on a Sunday morning and it was calm, quiet and peaceful down in West End. We will be back.

Ate breakfast and lunch here almost every day for about two weeks and loved every meal. Waitstaff is so sweet and friendly and the food is always good. Favorites included the grilled chicken teriyaki bowl and the lemon cake. Great and quick service, especially between dives.

Great place. We visited multiple times and everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. Reasonable prices also. Chill, not as loud as other local breakfast/lunch spots and friendly staff.

Even though a little hard to find the first time (Escondido meaning "hidden" in Spanish), it is well worth the effort and a spot not soon forgotten. Amazing breakfasts, try the Pesto Toast, and asian fusion lunches with rice and noodle bowls. Great view and even greater coffee.

Some times as a local you want to get a North American Breakfast, look no further, this is a great place to eat. Not only for Breakfast, but after a dive, especially if you are diving at West End Divers as they are directly below. That Cafe Escondido is on the second floor you do get a view of West End Road and the Ocean, it is quiet up there and the food and service is great.

Located above West End Divers, Cafe Escondido has very tasty breakfast options, some great thirst quenching lemonades, and a daily $5 diver deal that shouldn't be missed. Be sure to get one of their rice or noodle bowls as well.

They do a really great American style breakfast here. The fried potatoes are absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the breakfast. The coffee was terrible. The service was good.

Food was okay, service was just awful. Had the chicken and green chili tacos with fresh sliced avocado and pesto sandwich. The avocado was a little under ripe but was a great accompaniment to the chili. The pesto sandwich could have used a slice of tomato and just two slices of bread, not three.

So delicious and great atmosphere! Vegetarian and gluten-free friendly! We had a veggie scramble, a flat white with soy milk, a nutty monkey smoothie with almond milk, and a veggie burrito. All of it was so incredibly tasty! Plus, the view is terrific!

This place is awesome. Have ordered probably 10 different things on the menu and they’re all fantastic. Some favorites are the grilled cheese and the smoothie with ginger. Coffee is also excellent. And the servers are great, as well. I believe it is cash only, so be prepared.

The best breakfast i’ve had since being in Roatan . The cafe is in a large upstairs space. With plenty of tables and a couch. They also have games and books, so a good place to study or get work done with the free wifi. Bathrooms are very clean . One thing I love about the islands are natural juices and smoothies. Perfect for a hot day . I had a filling breakfast with orange juice and a large delicious smoothie for $10, worth every penny

The owner and staff are really friendly dedicated to customer service. it's a great atmosphere where you can sit and have breakfast or lunch with a great view of the community in the Caribbean Sea. And to top it off to food is great with with daily specials that can't be beat.

Feb 25, 2020. After scuba diving we had noodle bowls and beer. Very tasty and finished off a great day. Then back to our cruise ship. We gotta go back for the diving and the food.

Came here to get some work done on my laptop, ended up staying for hours! As an upper level restaurant it has amazing ocean views, a cross breeze, a well priced menu, great wifi and also wonderful staff. Definitely returning , and relieved there is another place to work from on the island.
