Restaurant is right on the beach. It also has a view of the beach and a grocery store on the lower level. The food was ok. The rice and chicken could have used a little more seasoning.

The baleadas that are sold at Calelu’s are really tasty and have great value for money. They have a wide selection that include vegetarian options. It’s next to a grocery store, so you can get any drink you want for the price paid by the locals. Besides baleadas, you can have a regular local lunch at a great price. Calelus has some of the best Honduran food on the island at super affordable prices! Highly recommend going here if looking for a good spot with good food. I enjoyed my meal with my family on the upper deck both times and all five of us had zero complaints both times.

The waiter was great greeted us with a smile and we sat upstairs. I had been dying to try the lobster baleada it was tasty but only 3 little pieces of lobster I was disappointed. My husband got the plantains he really enjoyed... I looked at other plates it appeared all the others items had more meat....ex. Chicken, beef and pork...

Delicious food, good service, gorgeous views from second floor, like seafood soup and papaya smoothie a lot.

The food was really good. Reasonable prices and good quantities. The service was excellent! We will definitely be back. Plus the second floor is a great spot to watch the sun set.

Excellent experience eating there! We were very full after 2 Baleadas and a chicken kebab! (For 2) Price was very reasonable! Thank you we'll be back.

I wish I had of taken pictures of our food. My husband got the garlic lobster tail and I had a shrimp dish. Everything was really great. The cocktails and beer were good too. We really enjoyed our server Emerson he was very friendly and gave excellent service. I liked sitting up above the street. A great experience!

Best local food in West End at a very good price. Amazing flavors and friendly staff. Definetly recommend the rice and beans as a side. We loved it so much that we ate there three times during our two week stay! Eating upstairs is a must for a nice view and it's less noisy there too.

Food was tasty for the service was slow. If you are hungry and need to eat something quick this is not the place. Price wise menu was very reasonable. I had a local dish for only 5 dollars and fried fish for 12 so not bad.

I had their chicken lunch special for $5USD and it was super delicious. The atmosphere and service was great. I definitely recommend this place.

Fish was good but as a tourist this a place who gets over on tourist. Says whole fish is $8 with two sides but you charge me $13 and all I had was a fish and bottled water . Unless they’re selling waters for $5 which could be true but I wish the menus were more transparent. Didn’t even see the fried fish on the menu. The rice and beans was tough, but I understand some places cook rice differently. Might be back..

First time to the island and this was our first place to eat. The local dishes are excellent and inexpensive. Top notch beans for the baleadas or just by themselves. An entire plate meal for $5??? Yes please. Already our favorite place and already been here twice in our first two days.

Loved my fish! I’m not a big fan of plain rain chips but the special sauce was yummy!

Calelu’s is an over hyped greasy spoon joint that is half a bodega and half a restaurant. I was told the Baleadas were good, they were not. They are cheap compared to what you find in that touristy row of restaurants, but I Not only didn’t find the food special I found the place to be hectic, noisy and somewhat dirty. I had a Baleada with eggs avocado and queso. It was soooo salty I choked on the first bite, later I learned when they say queso they mean salt. Anyhow, for a quick cheap bite it’s an ok greasy place but definitely not a place you want to go out for dinner. If you go to Calelus go upstairs, it’s much better, downstairs seat are terrible in the middle of all that hustle n bustle.

Great local food at good prices. We had 2 shrimp baleadas $6 and 1 vegetarian $3. The tortillas were fresh made as were the ingredients. Our server was gentle spoken, friendly and efficient. On the ground floor there is a small kitchen a few bar style tables and a grocery store. Upstairs is a large eating area and another kitchen. Our food was excellent but our watermelon juice was a slushy style which I'd clarify to have just a few ice cubes next time.

A little confusing how to order - inside the shop - but food was yummy and one of the quicker meals we had. We lucked into a server who held our hands to help us get what we wanted. 😊 Less expensive than many options. The stewed chicken was great and I loved the plantains.

👍👍 Not just chocolate! They now do breakfast... and lunchtime Indian Food specials at great prices (might have bought the entire Indian Food menu to take home on the ferry to Utila -- was not disappointed, will do it again). Many reasons to stop by. Conveniently located on the main strip in West End...

👍👍 We visited here right after arriving on Roatan for our first lunch. It was a lovely place to sit with a view of the beach and the staff was very friendly. We both had the Provençal Shrimp. I had the curry potatoes as one of my sides and we both had the grilled veggies. I would recommend all of that....
