This is the best beach on the island. Definitely worth the drive to get to and get away from tourists. Beautiful clear water with barely anyone on it. Don't forget to pack drinks/picnic to spend the day here. We should've saved this beach for last as it practically spoiled us for all other beaches on the island. Keep in mind; the only thing provided at this beach are free parking and trash cans. Keep this place beautiful and take out more than you bring in.

This is an amazing beach! Not a lot of people, and spectacular water and sand. One of the best beaches I've ever been to. Honestly compares to some of Hawaii's best!

I truly felt like I was on my own private island. There were hardly any people around, and that felt sooo nice. The waves are “stronger” on this side of the island, but they’re still very safe to swim in, and small in comparison to some Pacific waves. Be sure to bring your own food and water… there were some people selling some stuff in one section of the beach, but other than them, there was no one. I wouldn’t want to risk them not being there if you forgot to bring water. There’s a big lot to park your car. The water is super clear. Seaweed and sea grass is minimal. The only issue was the piles of trash that people left behind on the beach… it would be nice if more people would clean up after themselves. All and all, it’s a wonderful “private” beach that I would definitely go back to

Best beach in Roatan with (usually, except Sunday!) not many people on the beach or in the Sea. No facilities, so know that. Sometimes people will be cooking. Remote, rustic, natural beach!

Nice, quiet ⛱️. Not too busy just a few family/ friends together in a couple spots. Not crowded at all. This visit did have a bit of seaweed but not so much that the beach wasn't fun. Pleasant day was had here.

Beautiful beach of you like the wild type beaches. Water was so warm it was perfect for floating and relaxing. Very secluded i think there was only like 3 family's in the entire stretch of beach

West bay is still overall better but if you want an empty place on cruise ship days, head here. Beach chairs are $5 and it’s rustic, but beautiful. Water is tougher than west bay but not horrible. We took about 2 hours to get there. We drove from west bay, quick stop in flowers bay, then stopped for lunch at kristis overlook. Then we headed on out to camp bay. There is some dirt road but they are slowly concreting all the way to camp bay. Be prepared if you take kids some nudity is there but we were pretty much in a section alone, lots of space to set up and feel all alone. Stop in punta gorda on your way out or back in. Pick up some snacks there is a big Texaco close. It’s definitely worth a day trip out to this place. So go and enjoy. Why google wants reviews with 200 words is beyond me. I want to see a few pix, here a paragraph review and then make a decision. I guess the guys who designed it for 200 words to get badges don’t really get out there they just want to read about it. Maybe AI will write me 200 words so I can continue to rise up on the list of badges

LOVED it here. Its a wild beach, but thats exactly what we were looking for. Not many people as well.. the only negative is the litter. But thats almost at every beach here.. 🙈

Fantastic beach. Not many people on a Wednesday afternoon. Between this beach, and the La Sirena bar, Camp Bay is a destination. The beach is clean, and sandy with a sand bottom in the surf pretty far out. Plenty of nice shade.

Nice beach with not many people, the drive is long but worth it. The last bit the road is a bit bad but doable.
