Great service and staffing. Eddie, Dive Master, is amazing and calm; specially for someone like me that still not comfortable and nervous; he takes his time and calms me down. He make the class so much fun. Great management and very friendly staff. Also fantastic Baleada next to the shop while waiting for the next dive.

Amazing dive shop - was so easy to work with Michele and the dive instructors for our group of 11. Always felt safe, great set up close to the beach, and great food. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Excellent island holiday in a family atmosphere and all-round carefree service! My third holiday on Roatan in Chillies was again an immediate arrival in pure holiday feeling. The family atmosphere and the all-round carefree care make the holiday and relaxation begin immediately. The bungalows in the tropical garden are a paradise and make me forget everyday life immediately. Crabs, hummingbirds, agoutis, paradisiacal plants and the sound of the sea. What more could you want? Dive? Snorkel? Just a few steps to the dive center at the entrance. Personal advice, intensive support, expert discussions and an international exchange with divers from all over the world. My diving course on the last visit was professionally organized, conducted and supervised throughout. Michele and Alvin are the warmest hosts in Westend, professionally organized and noteworthy active supporters of the Roatan Nature Reserve and the MarinePark. My holiday in July with my 15-year-old nephew once again exceeded previous holidays and proved to me that we are exactly right at Chillies and Native Sons. My nephew did his diving course and with 2 professional instructors and e-learning open a door to an exciting world. I have never encountered such care on my 25 years of travels. My nephew has already reserved his next holidays on Roatan at Chillies. We say thank you and look forward to your next holiday.

What a great experience!!  Diving with Native Sons for my first warm water dive experience and what a great time!!  Their DM's were informative before the dive, fun during and after the dive, and safety was always a priority.  They catered to our entire group and varying experience levels.  As well as getting the equipment ready and on board for each dive.  Made my first warm water dive experiences great!! Looking forward to diving with them again.

First time diver…and Native Sons was the place to be! Careful attentive instruction and dive masters who took care of all the worries of a new diver. I would be comfortable having my own kids take dive instruction here in the future. The whole atmosphere is a family feel. See you next year!

Wow!! They come thru every time we visit. Never disappointed!! We have been diving with Native Sons for 8 years. Native Sons and their wonderful crew have taken us from novice divers to confident and experienced divers. We have done more than 500 dives with them over the years. Our daughter and daughter-in-law both got their open water with N.S. and we are looking forward to all our family to join us at Chilies Hotel and dive dive dive!!

Our diving experience with Native Sons Dive shop couldn’t have been any better. 10/10 Location is perfect. We stayed at Chilies hotel so it was about a 30 second walk. All the instructors/guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Our last dive had been 2 years ago, they gave us an excellent refresher before our first dive. Felt very comfortable for all of our dives. The boat is across the street from the shop so very convenient. Every single one of our dives was at a different spot. They know exactly where to go. Not to mention the reef is incredible. Highly recommend these guys.

i'm officially a certified diver!!! Thanks to native Sun diving. I'm so grateful for the staff and everyone that helped me get my certification. Everyone was so kind, I'm grateful to have learned so much. I really enjoyed this company because it was family owned, and everyone made me feel welcome and safe, I would absolutely come back and I look forward to coming back. There were so many places to choose from but for some reason this place really felt like a community in a family. I met some really cool people that I've been coming here for years and that was very reassuring. I want to bring my friends back next year so they can also get their certification.

If looking for a laid back, affordable (budget), friendly stay with a great dive shop, look no further. This is it. I stayed there for two weeks in a little cabin, and had a great time! Lots of nature, good vibes, and right across the street from Sundowners, a great spot to spend the evenings. Two minute walk to a grocery store, cross the street from the beach. Easy to grab a taxi if you need to go further out. Just remember to use repellent if you have issues with sand flies/mosquitos. They are merciless in the Bay Islands.

I love diving with Native Sons. The dive masters are friendly, relaxed, and very professional. We dived most with Eddie and Kfer this time and had a series of beautiful dives. We were offered lots of input in choosing dive sites and we had a lot of fun. I couldn’t recommend them more highly - I wouldn’t want to dive with anyone else.

I had a wonderful experience diving with Native Sons and staying at their hotel Chillies for 2 weeks. I did a refresher first, since it had been a few years since I was diving last, then continued with my training as well as just enjoying fun dives. The instructors were great - supportive, thorough, and patient when people needed that. The owner/manager, Michele, was great to work with, terrific communications prior to my arrival, assistance and recommendations during my stay. The dive boats (one large and one small) were in great condition and there were never too many people diving... everyone was properly and fully looked after. There are a lot of dive outfits in West End and Roatan in general, but Native Sons is in a great location and I total recommend them for quality, service, attention to detail, flexibility, and overall enjoyable experience. Don't hesitate to book diving and accommodation with them!

This was my second time diving with Native Sons and had another excellent experience. It’s located in such a great spot and it’s so convenient to stay in Hotel Chillies right behind the dive shop. You can just walk down bare foot, grab your gear, and walk out into the water to load the boat. It’s an amazing location for sunset also! The diving is so tranquil and beautiful. Eddie is a wonderful instructor and makes your dives adventuresome and serene. I loved exploring all the canyons and the marine macrofauna living amongst the reef. The reef is so accessible and there are so many dive sites to explore. I will definitely go back for another dive trip with Native Sons and I highly recommend!

I dove with Native Sons for the first time in the beginning of 2022. Decided to come back a couple weeks ago and dive with them again. They do not disappoint! Native Sons is a great full service dive shop with one of the best reputations on Roatan. This was my dive partners first dive trip since becoming certified and found them to be very accommodating and made her very comfortable. Both Eddie and Kasey do a great job!! Highly recommend🤿

My wife and I recently learned to Dive. the staff and management are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The instructors are very Patient specially for a new diver. We love to dive with Eddie his our favorite. They have a very cute food stand that serves none alcoholic drinks and food, is perfect for when coming out of a dive and waiting for the next one. we love the place.

We had an amazing time diving with the Native Sons dive shop! Since often we were only 2 divers, our excellent dive guide Allan selected the dive sites according to our skills and preferences. The staff puts your gear together for you and carries it to the comfortable dive boat that anchors a few meters from the shop. It doesn't get more convenient than that. The rental gear is in a very good condition; much better than what we had elsewhere. As the prices for diving are pretty much the same everywhere on Roatan, I'd recommend diving with the Native Son's because they have the best service, boat and equipment.
