Can not praise this place enough, has ranked in our top 3 excursions over the past 16 years! Area is BEAUTIFUL, staff is friendly and top notch service! Restrooms and showers clean, food was great for atmosphere (drinks were very weak though), beach chairs clean and plentiful, beach and wave hammocks very accessible. Make sure you walk down to end of fence and find the guys with the Sloth and Monkey!

Go to the right ladies room and right bar and you will be fine! Look for shade if you get there early. It was a good hang out on the beach day.

Food and drinks are great, beach is very nice. Suggest bringing some kind of bug spray for the sand fleas though. (There is a pharmacia on the way back to the ship where you can get something to treat the bites.)

Spent a day here on an excursion from a cruise ship. Nice place, nice people, good food, good music. Beach service from Alissa was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Did this for a carnival excursion. Great little beach, they have guards that keep the vendors off the beach. They fed us a delicious assortment of food. They had live music playing. Drinks were good, and the bar staff was fun! Beautiful beach and water. We snorkeled a little and saw lots of little fish, and a giant conch shell with crab. There are some small vendors with souvenirs you can purchase from. Quiet beautiful beach!

We visited this great place while on a cruise with Norwegian, the place is nice and clean with very friendly people and good food! If you like calm, turquoise, warm (in January) water with a clean beach this is a great choice.

I booked this as an excursion through the cruise we went on. I ended up doing this by myself and was a littler hesitant. However I enjoyed the day! The water was beautiful the view was great and the drinks were delicious. The food was good as well! I’d recommend if you’re interested in a relaxing beach day!

Beautiful. Service was incredible and good food too, which is amazing as I have a dairy allergy. I would recommend this place to everyone and plan to revisit if I get the chance. Absolutely loved it

We went to the beach for a day trip during a cruise. Did not stay at hotel but location was beautiful and merchants fun and friendly. Great day!

If white coral beaches and calm pools of turquoise water is what you're looking for, this is the place. Bring bug spray, they do have sand flies, but every place around does. Friendly helpful staff, and the food was great. Would go back again.

Kevin is the best server. He goes out in the water up to his waist to serve us in the hammocks! This was an excursion from our cruise and we had the best day at Sol y mar. Clean bathrooms, not at all crowded, clear water, great service. Perfect day. Ask for Kevin👍

We did the all inclusive package through Royal Caribbean and we had a blast! The wait staff was phenomenal and the food was equally as good (we had whole fried red snapper and coconut chicken). We will definitely be back next time we come to Roatan! Thank you to our server Eric, he was the best!

Such an amazing place! The staff there were all super friendly and welcoming. We went on a carnival Cruise and booked and excursion for Sol y Mar beach club open bar party. We had so much fun there!!! Would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone. You will have an amazing time, the staff there will make sure of it.
