The resort: Naboo is a newer boutique property in West Bay. The grounds are meticulously kept, and staff work daily to make sure there is not a speck of dirt anywhere. The pool was cool and refreshing, the hot tub warm and relaxing. We never felt the least bit crowded or that we didn’t have space to ourselves. When we spent time poolside, we were often the only ones there. The photos on the website, as of 2023, are 100 percent representative of what the resort actually looks like. Our room: the main building is only a few years old, so everything is in excellent condition. Our room was perfectly spotless when we arrived, and a housekeeping crew kept it that way with daily cleanings. The AC worked great, and we were never hot at night. The TV has a ton of channels, almost all in Spanish. We found ourselves watching lots of football, which was great! The restaurant: we had grand plans of going out to eat for dinner at a different place each night, but in the end, we ate every one of our meals at the resort restaurant. The food was consistent, and presentation was excellent. Breakfast was included for us, and it was excellent! The service was superb. Eduardo, Omar, Antony, and everyone working in the restaurant were attentive, friendly, and courteous. The restaurant accepts credit cards. The area: there is a small convenience store in the West Bay Mall up the street and a farmacia next door. Getting to the beach is a 2-minute walk on the gravel street. We never felt unsafe during the day, and only went out once at night in a group. Bring bug spray and anti-itch cream. The ripped currency thing is very real. Every place accepts US dollars, but make sure the bills you bring are in excellent condition. They can’t even have a tiny tear or mark on them. Transportation: a cab driver was waiting for us at baggage claim and took us to the hotel (about a 45-minute ride on narrow, winding streets), and on our way home, the hotel van took us back to the airport. The cost was $25 each way and could only be paid in cash. The dive shop: diving was why we went, and it did not disappoint. Serena, Andrea, G, Mal, Will, and Luther took great care of us, made sure we had all the gear we needed, and kept us safe in the water. The team managed our tanks, regulators, and BCs. We took care of our masks, fins, and computers. Huge thanks to them for taking care of all our heavy stuff! If you’re coming to dive, this is hands-down the way to do it. Overall: the location, restaurant, friendly staff, ambience, seclusion, on-site dive center, condition of the property, and excellent service make this a killer deal. Is it a Four Seasons? No. But for 4/5 the experience at 1/5 of the price, I’ll take Naboo any day. We’re already trying to convince our friends to come with us if we go back!

We just ended a fantastic two weeks at Naboo Resort and particularly loved the restaurant and our room. The restaurant had delicious options, well prepared, for breakfast (included in rate), lunch and dinner. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable. Decor was lovely. We used the hot tub but not the pool, choosing to walk the short distance to the beach for fantastic snorkeling! Our room was spacious, had a great smart TV, and we loved hanging out on the balcony. More than anything, we loved the people. They did everything they could to make our stay perfect...and they succeeded!

We spent a week at the resort and had a fantastic time. We love the fact that it's small (18 rooms), which makes it a more intimate experience. All who assisted us during our stay were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Big shout out to Eduardo and Omar in the restaurant and Serena and her crew in the dive center. Our room was comfortable, the food was delicious, the pool area relaxing, and the dive/snorkel excursions fun and definitely worth the trip. If you get a chance to go to Brick Bay on the other side of the island, go for it. We highly recommend Naboo and would definitely stay there again. TIP: Those with mobility issues should ask for a room on the ground floor to avoid the steps. There are no elevators (lifts).

This was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Convenient to the local beach, has access to a dive center, and no frills. Naboo over-delivered on all of these. From seamless airport pick-up and drop-off and everything in between, AMAZING. Traveled at the end of October, 2022. The dive shop was amazing. New gear, great boat, great boat captain, and basically a private dive trip all week. We had at most 5 people on the boat most days. Elise, our instructor/ Dive Master, for the week was amazing. Laura was also fantastic! At the hotel, Omar, Freddy, Kenny, and Benny were fantastic in the restaurant. They were super friendly, always happy to provide recommendations, and great service. They were the best! All of the hotel staff were fantastic, thank you all for the great trip. Food was tasty and variety was nice. Service, noted above, was great. Pro-tip, bring your room water jug, or your water bottles down and refill it at the water station in the dining area. Room was comfortable, quiet!, and just right. Do request an extra blanket if you get cold with aircon at night. My only recommendation (and minor) would be a vent fan in the bathroom. Becomes a sauna during a hot shower. Overall, this small hotel/ resort was amazing and can't wait to come back. Thank you to all who made our trip so memorable!

This hotel was amazing. Clean, incredibly friendly staff, amazing breakfast included in your room rate, clean pool, and located 2 min walk to the beach. Convenience store and small plaza 2 min in opposite direction. Would most definitely stay again.

I stayed in Naboo with my boyfriend for our anniversary for 4 nights 5 days. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly for the most part, and the location was excellent. It is a three minute walk to West Bay beach! And a two minute walk to the water taxi located in Bananarama that is able to take you to West End. The part that I would say was disappointing was the communication regarding my room. I initially booked a deluxe king bed stay which I confirmed with Jane Land three times prior to our flight via email. I was assured that the information was relayed to the staff and everything would be set. Upon arrival, my boyfriend and I were set up with a two bed queen room. We did voice our concerns to front staff and Edith was nice enough to provide us with a complimentary dinner one night during our stay because of this error. Another concern that I’d like to raise is the complimentary breakfast. The resort should really consider specifying on the menu what items are free and what items are add ons. Thursday morning I was able to get the yogurt for free as a part of my meal, however, on Friday I was advised that the yogurt was not free and had to make payment for it going forward. It was really unprofessional because after breakfast, the waiter called my room on Friday to advise us that the yogurt should have been charged and will be charged going forward. Why they could not just say it in person and felt the need to call my room was weird. When we went downstairs to speak about this, the waiter apologized for calling - probably because he realized that was a rude gesture but we made payment for it the remaining two days we stayed. For customers to not feel as though waiters pick and choose who they give free items to, the resort should redo their menus and specify what’s free.

Outstanding 6 nights at Naboo! Easy airport transfer with their shuttle. The whole staff is friendly and attentive, and the whole hotel is clean with new rooms. Especially enjoyed the service by Omar, Benny, Eduardo as well as the front desk folks. The food was amazing (breakfast was included) as well dinner dishes. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone visiting West bay!

Wonderful experience at Naboo Resort. If you’re looking for a boutique style hotel where all the staff know your name, what you drink and love to eat….look no further. Rooms are very clean and modern as shown on website photos. Short walk to beach though you can spend a quiet day within the walls of the resort.

Did only one dive with Naboo on our recent trip and it was SO nice to have a small group and Elise was an awesome divemaster, attentive, friendly, and customized our dive to what we wanted! Equipment was nice and updated, boat was comfortable, staff was very friendly, and a nice location (right next to Totally Taco...yum yum) The only sad thing was that we were already diving a package at another awesome shop so we didn't get to do more with Naboo. I look forward to rectifying that in the future.

Where do i even start?! My absolute FAVORITE aspect of this place is the staff. I’m only on day 3 of my 9 day stay and I felt like I had to write a review ASAP. everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. I am doing my diving certification here and Elise is AMAZING. She is SO knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Serena is an amazing host and I don’t think I could’ve made a better choice. Clean rooms, great housekeeping, nice patios/balconies, not to mention the no children policy is what drew me here initially. The beach is a 3 minute walk through a charming alleyway with shops and restaurants. Beware the stray dogs! You might want to take them home lol.

The BEST dive shop. I had such a lovely time diving here. This was my first dive after certification, and I felt so comfortable, welcomed, and excited with the dive masters. This is off the beaten path, so prices are very reasonable and it the boats aren’t super crowded, but have enough people to make new friends and have fun conversations. I really loved my time diving here and I recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much!!!!

Best DIVE CENTER!! Super organised, new equipment. All of the staff are amazing. Thank you Serena, Laura, Andrea and Luther. And thank you ELISE for being the perfect DIVE GUIDE.🥰 We will come back for sure. The Naboo Hotel is also really nice and very clean. The food in the restaurant is delicious and everyone is very nice. If you want a perfect stay in Roatan the Naboo Hotel and DIVE Center is highly recommended.

Excellent dive center they took care of every detail for us and we always felt very confortable and safe. We had great 4 afternoon dives only one tank (just how we like it)and they prepare all the equipment for us, washed it and had it ready for the next day. The night dive and seeing the string of pearls was surreal. We always had a master diver guiding us on each dive and showing us exactly where to look. I recommend the blue channel for day diving.

I visit this island pretty often so i have gone to several resort, hotels, and airbnbs. This is resort is now one of my top two favorite places to stay. My other favorite is ibagari and, if i didnt know better i would have thought they (Naboo) was an extension or a baby Ibagari. Its one block away from celestial waters, owned by a couple that make it their job to make sure their guests were/are well attended to. Their dive masters are super fun to dive with. They even helped me with take a video underwater, while i got to experience the coral and wild life personally and not through my GoPro. They have a pool that is ideal when you don’t want to walk a block to go to a public beach. The building is very new so the stay feels amazing. I just had an amazing time here. Ill always come back to Naboo... THANK YOU NABOO

April 2022 - America tourist - I'm just finishing an amazing week long trip filled with diving with naboo. The resort is small, only 18 rooms, and is less than a year old. The rooms look exactly like the pictures online. Front desk staff will know you on site, and help you with taxi, airport transportation ect. The food at the restaurant is better than most of the beach bars you'll find, and at a similar/better price. The dive shop staff was fantastic. I usually dive with big operations running 4-8 large boats. Here the smaller crew, with a smaller boat meant lots more personal attention. We had the same guide most days, who knew our skill level, lead weight needs, ect. The staff transported our bcds and regs on/off the boat daily and cleaned them after use. The guides never had more than 5 people in their group, and it was often 2 groups of just 3-4. The staff quickly responded to my last minute request for an afternoon dive, setting it up despite nobody else scheduled. It was the first "private" dive my wife and I have done, and setting our own pace was great. Every dive was 50-55 min or more in the water, unlike big operations who call it when the first of 8 people runs low at 35 minutes. We got great service, personal attention and that led to great dives.

Absolutely beautiful. The food and pool and staff are amazing! Great place to stay. Phenomenal place to dine. So excited this property is up and running. Love it! We had the best dinner there. I think our waiter was Benny. Very awesome night.

BEST DIVE SHOP!!! My husband and I received our PADI Open Water Dive certification at Naboo and we were incredibly happy with our experience! The staff here is super friendly and personable which really enhanced our experience! I would highly recommend anyone to book their dives and certifications with this Dive Center. Serena, Elise and the rest of the staff are top notch. Thank you to all of you that made this a memorable trip!

Naboo was FABULOUS! Highly recommend it for lodging, eating, and especially diving. The boutique resort was clean and lovely, the staff was attentive and beyond friendly, and the location for diving can’t be beat. Serena, Elise and the rest of the crew at the dive shop made it so we could enjoy our trip and not have to worry about anything except for some great diving. Omar and Eduardo at the restaurant made sure we were well taken care of, and the food and drinks were consistently great. Thanks to all the staff at Naboo for a phenomenal week in Roatán! I will certainly be back!

The best part of this hotel was the dive center. They have 2 morning dives, 1 afternoon dive and night dives if enough interest. The guides were awesome as was the boat and captain! You can tell the rooms are new; everything is very fresh. Lovely pool. Breakfast comes with the room. Recommend the restaurant and well for lunch or dinner and especially happy hour!

I don't have enough nice things to say about this place. The location is great, a minutes walk to the beach. Which is great, you don't get the bugs up here the same as on the beach. The hotel is brand new and well maintained. The rooms are spacious with a large balcony attached. The dive center is attached the the hotel and is impeccably run. Oh and the restaurant is quite good as well. The chef was trained by a chef from Italy. I recommend the fresh lobster pasta.

🫤 First what we didn't like:, I want to start by saying we are all American couple with no kids, other people may have a different experience. But, for us, it was too loud, too crowded, too chaotic. Loud pulsing music in the dining room, crowded pools with children throwing things are just not what...
